This mall is not catered towards tourists, rather the neighborhoods around. Youll find a Macys, Sears, Burlington, and the usual Simon mall grouping (AE, Aeropostale, Hot Topic, Spencers, etc.) There are no higher end stores, but that being said, it is a very casual and safe place to spend a few hours in. Id recommend going if your motive was to take a walk rather than to shop. Inside the mall, the only franchise restaurant inside is a Subway, however I highly recommend the chinese food right beside it. Smetzels has fantastic smoothies, and I highly recommend this hidden gem. The newly renovated AMC theatre is the main reason I step foot in the mall, and again, I definitely recommend this one. Overall, the mall is very generic, and lacking in terms of shopping options. The AMC is a great theatre, and I only really recommend visiting the mall as a hangout spot. Grapevine Mills has monumentally more shopping choices.

This place is RIDICULOUS! I had to switch over the credit card they bill me with monthly and instead of switching it, they just decided to charge me on both. Since I never used the original card I didnt realize this "error" for 6 months ($180). I called to get a refund and had to call back 4 times before I could get an answer and this is what they said "because the services you received were over the $180 amount, management doesnt feel you are owed a refund". What the hell? So they can just charge me whatever they want b/c they "feel" like it? Pretty sure thats illegal, but they know Im not about to take them to court over it, so nothing stopping them. Also when I asked to speak to a manager they said "Mangers dont take calls. Its just our policy" . Just like illegally charging their customers is their policy! Go somewhere else. Oh yeah, my dog hated going here so I havent taken him in 3 months anyways.

This place is the next Valley View and Southwest Center type of mall. Super dated, old and dusty, with a lot of no-name stores and Spanish speaking families attending Mexican dances, parties and events in the halls. There is definitely a working class, lower income vibe about this place. Between empty, vacant storefronts are unprosperous shops selling mediocre goods and clothing, next to national chains where everything is discounted because they are just waiting for their leases to run out and close the location here. Food court is typical fast food, not very appealing. The entire mall has a moldy, musty smell to it, especially the bathrooms. If you live in Central or South Irving and absolutely have to shop here, I dont envy you. I would recommend heading down Northwest Highway to Northpark or Valley Ranch instead.

One word. Dillards. Dillards Dillards!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have shopped here so much its ridiculous but end up paying so much lessss. They have everything already marked 50%-70% OFF and they give an extra 50% OFF on top of that which is crazy, not on everything but every week its something different so it is good to look it up and see if its worth stopping by or wait until next weeks option. You can buy a $240 blazer for about $30. $60 nice church slacks for about $7. All name brand, all new. Trust me this is the place to shop for clothes. Very high end quality, maybe 30% isnt the best but you should know not every high priced item is worth it. Happy shopping!!!!!

The mall is so dirty. First time ever I wanted to disinfect my 2 year old after leaving. The play area was so nasty from the dirty carpet that needs a Shampoo and a steam clean to all the playground monuments were just nasty. I pulled my kid out of there after 30 seconds. Seriously you can catch Ebola in the play ground. The car ride that takes 4 quarters is brown and ate our money. The ac does not blow cols air in the common area it was too hot and we were all sweating just walking around. This mall is going downhill fast. The carasel closes at 8:30 when the rest of the mall is open till 9m. Overall very dirty place inside and outside.

I wouldnt recommend the nail spas at Irving Mall any more. They discriminate against the handicap. I was born with lymph-edema in both my legs. It started developing in 2005. Had to retire in March 2007. From 2007 to August 17th 2015. I could get a pedicure at the nail places at Irving Mall. They would cut my toe nails with my lymph-edema. They did that for 8 years. Today I went to the Irving Mall and I couldnt get any of them to give me a pedicure. They said new policy. They did it for 8 years and over night a new policy. Sounds like a bunch of B.S. to me.

Its not a Galleria by any means, and some of the smaller stores youd expect have been replaced by off brand ones; however, the big dept stores are there and it has what you need. Theres a lot of cool stores you wouldnt see at other malls. Its hard to find another mall where you can shop, go the massive indoor gym for a bit, catch a bite and a drink at an authentic Mexican restaurant, catch a movie get pampered (hair, nails, message), try a trampoline park and possibly squeeze in a tattoo. The Dilards Outlet is a must visit for the insane deals you find too.

It is fine for shopping specifically at an anchor store, like Burlingtons or Macys, but it is another mall that is a shadow of its former self. But they do appear to have made improvements in the last year or so amd mall traffic has increased. The mall seems brighter and more welcoming. The food court is fully used again. Dont expect an experience like busier, newer malls. But it suffices for a quick shop trip for clothes or essentials and can still be fun. The AMC Cinema is pretty nice, with upgraded seating.

Dillards Outlet -If you are looking for a great deal this is the place to be, however I want to emphasize the word "looking". This is an outlet Dillards so you have to be in the mood to scour the racks. For an outlet store it is pretty organized and well kept, everything is organized by department, style and size. Just make sure you try on the clothes, as all sales are final. As for the mall I never venture outside of Dillards as it is a ghost town with the exception of Barnes and Noble.

This is not a higher end shopping experience. The building itself looks as though it hasnt been well maintained over the years. Shops cater to the neighborhood it is in. No stand out specialty shops and the department stores did not have the quality of apparel you can find in malls found in neighboring towns. I saw people doing drugs out in the open in the parking lot last time I was there. You can go 20 minutes in either direction and find yourself at a much higher quality mall.
