I am from out of state, and live closer to this mall. Here are pros and cons about this mall in my opinion; Pros: 1) Since it is not so crowded mall, you will find all the size of shoes or clothing if you are clear about what to get. I did all my Christmas shopping here, without crazy long line. And yes, they had everything I was looking for. It was great! 2) Clean, nice looking mall 3) Huge parking lot, all around the mall 4) Nice food court 5) Great movie theatre that is high end 6) Major stores, Dillards, Macys and others are still there 7) Next to the freeway, very conveniently located 8) Vista Ridge Plaza next to the mall has very nice stores such as Bath and Beyond, DSW shoes, and many nice restaurants near by Cons: 1) It doesnt have live feel 2) Cell phone accessory stores Kiosk (Celaris) will get you. completely over charged. dont buy stuff from there. 3) Due to freeway construction nearby, it is hard to get in to the mall. Overall, Pros outweigh Cons for me. I dont understand why this mall is not as active like Grapevine Mills. Many of my co-workers from out of state also cant understand why such as great mall feel so dead. Mystery of the century for me. However, it does have all my needs. I definitely hope to see this mall to revive.

This place was great maybe 20 years ago, but is definitely in decline lately. Blue collar, working and lower middle class is the clientele that shops here. About 25% of it is vacant storefronts, inside is somewhat dim and gloomy looking. Food court is typical fast food, and as you walk around the lack of prosperity is impossible to ignore. Competition from Stonebriar Center, The Shops At Highland Village and Grapevine Mills has pretty much taken the middle and upper middle class shoppers with disposable income away from here and now its just slowly sinking into irrelevance. The mall is relatively clean, safe and well maintained though. And the movie theatre is very popular, especially with teens on weekends. Plenty of parking and its very easy to get in and out of the mall. Location is great and cant be beat. Recommended if you are local and want to shop without the huge crowds and bothersome issues of other malls.

I work here and Im telling you if you shop here youre poor. Nothing to do nothing to see. The owner doesnt give a damn why should I? He lives in a Brazil only here twice a year. No effort to make this mall any better grapevine mills is less than 15 minutes down the road. Just go there. Always something goin on. Good family environment. Stuff for adults as well. Ready for Vista Ridge to just close the doors already. More of an eye sore than anything. More homeless people than Downtown Dallas! And who the hell do they think they are chargin 20 bucks a pizza?! Its like the whole mall is oblivious to what kinda garbage it is! And if youre a mall walker lookin for a building to walk around, youre better off breaking into an old warehouse, its probably safer!

Vista Ridge mall is extremely clean and has a lot of space and the typical selection of stores you would expect in a mall. However, in most stores the employees didnt seem to even notice their customers, which seems pretty off to me. A few places make this mall unique though. Theres a cat adoption center where you can actually pet and play with the cats. Theres a neat bungee trampoline bounce (mostly for kiddos). Theres a new tabletop game and comic book store. Theres an optometrist that is actually open on Sunday. The mall receives 4/5 for being unique and clean, but also somewhat unwelcoming. (Even when employees did notice customers, they seemed not to care too much.)

I frequently visited this mall growing up in the Lewisville area just walking distance away so I have a lot of memories here as a young innocent teenager merely roaming the mall back and forth with no money so my point is here is that Vista Ridge holds some nostalgic value for me... however its a dying mall and has been for as long as I can remember. Its really nothing worth visiting... it has a pretty dull vibe throughout, a lackluster selection of stores/places to eat and the movie theatre connected with it is probably the only thing that makes it worth stopping by.

Have been shopping in this more forever. It was always packed and have a lot of foot traffic. However, it seems more and more shopping malls are growing in the area and nearby towns, this place started to get less and less foot traffic and more and more empty store. However, whatever stores are still there, service is still great. Once shop has been there since the 90s when the mall was built, the owner told me. I still come to this mall and shop with whatever shops are still there. Got to support businesses in town and keep the businesses growing.

Customer service was GREAT i was soooo tired from school shopping for my 12 yr old nephew who wanted skinny jeans a young lady took the time to go out her way and deliberately look for a xsmall size that fit perfectly i told her we wete at our last hundred bucks because we had already spent 300.00 at other stores she offered us a coupoun thats saved us 40 bucks so 60 bucks for 3 pairs of pants was right for our budget and he was still able to get his nike back pack from JC Pennys at 39.99 THANKS FOR YOUR KIND CUSTOMER srevice at RUE 21 AND JC PENNY

This was really a splendid mall25yrs ago.I hope it gets more stores and becomes like Stone briar otherwise this mall will be a thing of the past.sad for those who remember how beautiful it once was.I blame this on the failing economy in Lewisville and the failure of the city to bring more prosperous jobs to the area.why does Frisco get all the up and coming businesses and Lewisville gets nothing but tbill?we need to get out away from the dark ages and modernize with the times.new clientele and new stores please.
