This was my second time to come in. On my first visit, they were out of most of the sweet bagels, so I was hesitant to rate before. On this visit, I called my order (for a couple bakers dozens) in an hour in advance to make sure they would have plenty. I made it clear I only wanted the sweet choices. When I arrived, they were cutting the bagels for my order. I noticed that about half of them were sesame, poppy seed, garlic or plain. When I told him again that I only wanted sweet ones, he put those back and got more sweet ones. They were out of some. He made a comment that I wiped them out, which I felt was uncalled for. If 26 bagels (called in an hour in advance) wipes you out, youre not planning and preparing right. He made a big show of telling me he was including an extra bagel. After we left, I asked my wife to count them. One had 12 and the other had 13. So much for an extra. Instead, we were shorted. The bagels and homemade cream cheese are fabulous, which is the only thing that saved them from a poor rating/review. Based just on the service I received (both times), I would rate them a 2 on service. But the food is a solid 5. So on average, a 3.5. I went back and forth about rounding down to 3 or up to 4. Based on other reviews, I think the service is usually better than I experienced, so I rounded up.

Not only do they have the most delicious bagels but this is, by far, the best run business in the area. Even when they are busy, they take care of everyone as if they are their best customer. The staff is friendly and efficient, plus they are extremely personable and honest. If something is wrong, they will quickly fix it. They want you happy and it shows. We drive out of our way to come here, passing other shops with bagels in our way. The bagels are as good, or even better, than those Ive had in New York or Florida. Thank you for doing what you do.

We have fallen in love with our weekend tradition of late morning bagels, sticky roll, huge coffee, and the friendly company of the new owners of Iris Bagel. We just love you guys! Thanks so much. Hate to tell everyone about our secret bagel stop - but they really know their stuff. Best and softest bagles - so so soft, and perfect whipped fresh cream cheese. The roast is piping hot. There is no better, sorry New York. And who knew? Right down the road, in Arlington! Now the people at work beg me to bring "those bagles".

We stopped there as we were passing through town. Its a family-run business, so the service was very friendly. They took the time to explain menu items, recommend a coffee roast, and make substitutions for us. When we actually got our coffee and bagels, we were delighted. The bread of the bagel was delicious and the sandwich fixings were high quality. The Texas roast coffee was great, a well-balanced blend. They say bagels and coffee. Thats all they do and they do it well.

I went To this dive hole in the wall called Iris Bagel shop and almost choked on the bagels they were so hard!! The employees were eating on the line and I have seen better restrooms in a truck stop. I didnt feel welcome when I ate there and they were giving me dirty looks the whole time , maybe because of the color of my skin.. I dont know but I WONT EVER BE BACK!

The bagels and cream cheeses (hand made) are excellent! I have several "favorites"..the butterscotch, the sesame seed and the 9 grain, to name a few! This is a family owned bagel house with a huge following! A place where youre treated like family..once youve experienced these bagels and the home-like atmosphere youll look no further. Stop by and see.

Friendly, funky atmosphere. Ive lived near here for years before I finally visited this hidden gem. Its a casual coffee house, west coast style. Random old coffee mugs for drip, good espresso/cappuccino, wifi too. A rather eclectic crowd comes through. Definitely worth a visit. Make mine an egg bagel with regular cream cheese.

Was excited to find this coffee shop. The guy was friendly. Sad but the lady licked her fingers while making a chicken bagel. She also walked from one end of the area behind the counter coughing without covering mouth. We thought we had found a hangout. NOT will find another place.

This place is amazing! Bagel egg sandwhich, great customer service, and friendly employees! 10/10- I will go here over Starbucks anyday. They have over 6 different kinds of locally sourced coffee and an A+ espresso machine. Please give this place a try! You will not regret it!

Great friendly service right from the start. The owner even came by and greated everyone at each of the tables. They stayed on top of the orders and all came out correctly. Good cup o joe and the monkey bagels are phenomenal. Our new found favorrite spot.

Super friendly staff, and seriously fantastic food! Everything on and off the menu is good, every time. Plus, its a super cute shop, and great to hang out and study in. Sometimes if its busy tables fill up fast, but its easy to take to go as well.

Love the selection. Everything was good. The cream cheese was a little too runny, I wonder if it has mayo mixed in. Im in NYC often, cream cheese definitely not the same. Still, good enough to keep going back. Only bagel shop around.

Good bagels. Good sandwiches both breakfast and lunch. Nice family. Been going there since they bought it over 10 years ago. Lots of regulars. Caveat: taste in bagels varies widely in my experience. Just have to try theirs to see.

I love this coffee shop! The bagels are wonderful. The owners and folks that work there are so genuinely refreshing. They get to know you and what you generally order...the coffee could be a tad better, but its still good

Love this place. Great bagels with wide variety. Friendly family owned operation. They have a substantial number of regulars who make it a daily or weekly (thats me) tradition. Never disappointed.

We have been eating there for the past 15 years at least....the best Bagels in the Nation! Family run business with the best service in town. Come in early because they tend to sell out by 12:30.

You can get an "eggel" (bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich) and a legit cappuccino for around $5 bucks! Awesome value and super friendly service. I make sure and visit this place once a week!

Good prices, great service. Staff had my order memorized after about a week. One of them even sets aside a bagel for me just so they dont run out. Wont go anywhere else for breakfast.
