I went to Shipleys the other day and it was a lot of people there, by far the nicest donut shop I have ever seen. But to me it is over priced and the donuts arent all that great. The staff isnt bad, but normally donut shops warm up the donuts and at the time I was the only one in line, but yet they were in a rush and gave me cold donuts. For some reason I figured it would be warm because I guess Im just used to the many DS Ive been to and the donuts were warm. The pig-in-the-blanket or kolaches as they call it, are way different from the ones Im used to, I got one with cheese but I did not like it. I love cheese, but their "kolaches" with cheese have cheese around the lil smokey not inside, and it didnt have any flavor; not going to lie I was a little disappointed. It seems to me Shipleys has been around for a while and since Pantego is a small town thats all theyre used to and support it which is fine, but the staff and pig- ahem excuse me "kolaches" needs some tweaking.

These donuts are from heaven!! The best donuts in town! Donuts are always fresh! The service is always friendly and they work fast because its always busy on the weekends but they get it done. The quality of these donuts will make you want to cheat day everyday! I love these donuts!

First time visiting this establishment as I just moved to TX. The donuts were very fresh and delicious. I couldnt figure out the pricing. I got a dozen and half and I was charged $15.00. Oh well. They were good I guess thats what really matters.

Best chocolate iced donuts...ever! Of course, thats just one persons opinion but Ive had a lot of chocolate iced donuts all around the country and Im always ready to come home to Shipleys.

These are probably the BEST donuts in the planet they are so good and SUPER cheap. My dad would ride his bike here every Friday and get donuts when he was in elementary school.

Doughnuts were good, but they didnt throw in any holes for free like some other small stores. Also, the sausage roles tasted like they were in a hotdog bun.
