In an attempt to size my watch bracelet, an attendant here wrenched a non-removable bar out of a link. He returned the watch with the bracelet sized but the damaged link still in the bracelet, unrepaired (held together only by luck). He didnt say anything about this.When I got home I found that the bar was absent. I posted a negative review. A manager from the store called within a few days of the post. This manager was professional and desired to fix the problem. They made clear that the return of the bracelet with the damaged link included was counter to explicit store policy. Training issues are encountered by everyone. My watch was bought overseas and its possible that some unusual design aspect Im not aware of confused the attendant. I would do business with a manager at this store in the future, but only a manager.

A relative of mine dropped off a ring as well as a watch that had been recently purchased as a gift. The returned work on the watch was shabby to say the least, with clear errors in the workmanship that required redoing. Specifically, glue residue remained along the edges of the face glass. Upon returning to the store, we were told that the glue could not be removed without causing further damage. Upon asking for a redo of the repair, the manager claimed that they do not warranty their work and that this was a standard amongst jewelers. A quick series of calls quickly confirmed that this was false. However, after dealing with their management and workers who have continued to act abbraisive and superior, there doesnt seem to be a better solution than giving up on this business and giving some words of warning.

This place was wonderful! After having three children, it was finally time to get my wedding and engagement bands re-sized. I took it to them on Thursday and got the call that they were ready on Saturday morning! The rings look beautiful, you would never even know they had been cut and my wedding band has an intricate knotwork. The ring had to be sized from a 5 1/2 to a 7 and you would never even know it was fixed! There is virtually no evidence of the repair and my knotwork is intact and the price was perfect! I highly recommend this shop both for their work and their professional courtesy. Rolf was so polite and took time with me to explain about the ring and made sure of my fit. The rings were also repaired in house so there was no worry about the rings getting lost! Highly recommend and we will be back!

So this family store was referred to me from one of my family members. My uncle has had several pieces worked on by them and he highly recommended them. Over the course of the last 6 yrs I have used them several times and I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN PLEASED!!! I have had custom jewelry done here and amazing results. I have had cleanings done and they have done terrific jobs. I also have taken historic watches to them for repairs and they have gone far above my expectations. Needless to say these are good people that I talk about too all of my friends and family. I dont plan on changing jewelers EVER!!! Keep up the great work!!!

I love this place. I had 3 watches that needed new batteries and they replaced them as I waited - during lunch hours even. I also asked them about my Rolex watch and how it kept flipping open and I was nervous to wear it. He had his repairman look at it and he fixed it and it is very secure now. He did not charge me for this. If I would have taken it to Rolex downtown, no telling what they would have charged me. I felt confident and very happy leaving Allen Village Jewelers and that I got 4 watches basically fixed for $32. I will definitely be returning to have charms made and purchase Christmas gifts.

My wife and I were preparing for a renewal of our wedding vows over the weekend and were looking to have our wedding bands engraved. The day that the rings were scheduled to be delivered back to the store happened to be the same day that we were flying out. To ease our minds, the owners drove to their engraver and personally picked up the finished rings the night before and arranged to deliver them to us personally after hours. EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service! It was one less thing for us to worry about the day of our travels. The quality of work was excellent and you couldnt ask for a nicer experience.

I took in Both my wedding and anniversary rings to be repaired and i was absolutely floored by the amazing service! Extremely wonderful customer service courteous and polite staff the pricing was also very fair. When i received my rings back promptly in spite of the fact that they are swamped with repairs because of popularity i was extremely satisfied. When i saw my wedding band (a family heirloom passed down to me) i nearly cried with tears of joy it looks better than it did on my wedding day!!! i am beyond happy and will be coming back again and recommending them to friends and family.

I bought my fiance a ring here and 3 months later it broke! She was out of town and had it repair, and broke again. After hearing her tell her family about the broken ring I decided to bring it into the store. Intitially they said they would repair it for free since I purchased it in their store. When I went to pick up the ring now had a charge for repair. Never again will I shop here. I guess Ill try a chain store like Zale or Kay that has a clear warranty on their products.

I was really impressed with Allen Village Jewelers. We needed to repair a wedding ring. They repaired part of the wedding band that was broken, added a baguette, checked all the prongs, and left the ring strengthened for the future. When I picked up the ring, they presented it in a heart-shaped ring-box with bow on top. Very classy. Their pricing was reasonable. I will definitely be a repeat customer for future shopping.
