Note: Ive bought 4 cars from different dealers in the past, so I have a little experience with dealers. With that said, I have never, ever been to a dealer like Cotroneo Auto Group. They are non-threatening, non-forceful, and accommodating. I have been searching for a specific (barely used) BMW online for months, but every time I find one, it sells before I get there. Cotroneo is in Dallas, and I am from Austin. I called them that morning, and negotiated a bit on the trade in value and the price of the car over the phone (honestly, I did a rather poor job on the negotiation, but I was tired of hunting for this car. I still got a good deal though). They had tons of pictures of their cars available online, which was nice. When I arrived 3 hours later, I noted the wow factor of their inventory. Everything from value cars, to a Shelby Musting, and AMG Mercedes, Porsches, and more. The car I wanted was pulled aside, outside of the sun, for me to test and inspect right away. I made a ultimatum over the phone prior that if there was a single issue with the car cosmetically or mechanically that they wouldnt fix, I wont buy it. Karl asked for a deposit, but after I said I was uncomfortable doing that, he backed down quickly, which I greatly appreciated. The car was PERFECT inside and out. When I told them I would buy it, they already had the paperwork together including the Carfax report that they explained questions I had (for instance, the report noted that the car was BMW certified, but since I was not purchasing it at a BMW dealer, I dont get that status). I already had a pre-approval for 2.5%, but they were able to get a loan for 1.9%. We only talked price of the car and not monthly payments (this really annoys me when dealers try to do that). The purchase took all of 20 minutes to finalize. I was in-and-out including testing and inspecting in under an hour and a half. This is pretty much family-owned. More than half of them were related. The inside of their office and showroom was nice/welcoming but not we spent a ton of money from scamming people to build this elegant and expensive building. Since they were small, everyone pretty much stopped by to say hi and asked how I was doing. The general feel I get with independent used car dealers is we finance even bad credit! Buy these hidden-damaged cars!, but not Cotroneo Auto Group. When I was done with the purchase, they helped me get everything out of my trade in. The salesman delivered the car and was very knowledgable in every component and system and showed me how to do everything before I left. Kudos to Karl and Mike for helping me with the purchase, I will definitely be a returning customer once I run this BMW to its last mile :)

Being a car enthusiast, I am no stranger to the car purchasing process for both new and pre-owned vehicles. After working with Ken at Cotroneo Auto Group, I no longer want to deal with anyone else. Ken was a breath of fresh air; a true professional who loves what he does and it shows! How many pre-owned dealers do you know take the time to educate themselves on each and every car that is parked in their garage? (Yes – all cars are immaculately kept in their beautiful indoor showroom.) Not only did Ken know all of the car’s specs that I had asked him about, but he was also knowledgeable on each and every vehicle’s history/origination, had all of the books, keys and window stickers. Impressive. How many dealerships today still honor and respect a handshake as a deal and tint the windows on a car for you that you did not even leave a deposit on yet?! Yes, this really did happen! My car buying experience was an absolute pleasure. There was no haggling or pressure; the prices were fair and the customer service and appreciation were second to none. I was blown away by the extra mile that Cotroneo goes (no pun intended, but they do ship cars worldwide!) and love the fact that they are a family run business. We finalized our paperwork in “the Texas Room” which had a map of the world with pushpin markers showing all of the locations that they have sold and/or shipped cars to. Again, impressive! When the time comes and a family member, friend or colleague is in the market for a new car, I’ll be sending them to Cotroneo. While this is the first car that I’ve purchased from Ken, I can promise you that it will not be the last!

OUTSTANDING buying experience! From the moment I walked into Cotroneo Auto Group, I could feel and see the difference. The front office and showroom were immaculate. Their selection of well appointed, high-end cars were parked neatly in an inside showroom -- each looking as if it had just rolled off the assembly line. Upon entering the facility, I was greeted by Mike Cotroneo, who was very professional, highly knowledgeable about each car, and showed a genuine interest in me as a customer. Mike asked if I needed anything or wanted anything to drink on multiple occasions. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, no gimmicks, and no tricks. Mike did not hesitate when I asked to test drive multiple vehicles, and he provided me with an appraisal on my trade-in within minutes. I ended-up buying a 2013 Jaguar XK XKR as a surprise gift for my wife. Mike and his staff took car of having the wheels painted black and window tint put on the car within one day, at an unmatched price. I was so impressed with the Mike, the sales staff, and the office staff, that I purchased a second vehicle (2012 CLS63) for myself the following day. I have shopped other luxury car dealerships in the DFW area, and NONE of them can match-up to Cotroneo Auto Group. From the cleanliness of their facility and cars to the Gift Bags that accompany each purchase, Cotroneo Auto Group is First Class all the way! The owner, Ken Cotroneo, Mike, the sales staff, showroom staff, and office staff, were simply AMAZING. I could not be happier with my car buying experience, and I will definitely continue to buy cars from Cotroneo Auto Group.

I spoke with Ken for the first time today; I was inquiring in regards to a beautiful, white 2013 Porsche Turbo he had offered for sale. Ken, who is THE OWNER of the dealership, called me to talk to me about the car I inquired about, answer any questions I might have, and explain to me the process. We spent a total of 45 minutes chatting on the phone, Ken going into detail to make sure that Im educated about the vehicle and process. When he found out I was a veteran; Ken expressed to me how grateful he is for our service members, and told me about how he helps active duty men and women, prior to deployment, sell their cars, and/or keeps it stored for them at his indoor facility, where it is properly maintained until the serviceman/woman return home safely. Unfortunately, I did not buy the car from Ken because my CFO, aka my wife, said NO!, even though this was the best and most competitively priced Panamera out on the market. This didnt stop Ken. Ken helped me examine the service/history records of a vehicle with the options I wanted at a different dealership; at a price point my wife and I could agree on, but mostly my wife. Ken, also, made sure I was buying a car that was a perfect fit for me and my family. This is how service should be; Ken did not have to do any of the things he did but he does everything out of the kindness of his heart. Ken has definitely set the bar high in my eyes and I definitely plan on going to him first for any future cars I buy. Thanks again for everything Ken and for all that you do for our service members, God bless you, your family, and your business.
