I purchased a car from Anthony in Feburary. Before coming in we had agreed on a drive-out price. When I got there and decided to purchase the vehicle, they ran my credit and told me that I had to pay a bank fee of $3,000 because I get paid in cash and could not provide proof of income. Keep in mind that I put down $15,000 on a $32,000 vehicle, my credit score is average, and I promise you theres is no such thing as a bank-fee that the customer is responsible for when purchasing a vehicle. They told me that its either I buy the warranty for the car, which was about $3-4,000 or I pay the bank-fee. I was upset that they had tried to pull this stunt after running my credit. I told them I didnt want their business and left the dealership. The next day, Anthony called me and told me that he had forgotten to give me back my ID. Before I came back to pick it up, I went online and noticed they had added $2,000 to the original asking price of the car I was buying. They OBVIOUSLY made the whole bank-fee issue up for me to pay MORE than what we agreed on. I was so upset but at the same time could not afford another hard inquery on my credit so I bit my tongue and called Anthony back and eventually agreed on another drive-out price which was $1,500 more than the original drive-out price that he promised me. When I came back to finalize the purchase I test drove the car again and noticed that the brakes were making noises. I mentioned it to Matt, the owner, and he agreed to change them for me if I came back within 30 days. I texted Anthony about 2-3 weeks later to get the brakes changed. I gave him a day and time and he confirmed that it was ok to come. Now, once I got to the dealership on the scheduled day and time that he had confirmed, Matt and Anthony both shooed me away and told me that it was too late in the day to get services done on the car. I was so upset because of how unproffesional they were from the beginning, and now for them to confirm something and make me drive across the city just to tell me to go home was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I told them that I had a flight to catch the next morning and that I would be very busy for the next few weeks. My schedule was already tight thats why I made sure they confirmed my appointment before I came. They both assured me that it would be ok for me to come back later as long as it was before 2pm. I trusted them and left. Today, I texted Anthony to schedule another appointment for my brakes and GUESS WHAT? He says that theres nothing he can do for me now because I waited past the 30 days to reach out to him. He told me to contact Matt. I called Matt and he yelled at me through the phone telling me thats its not HIS fault that I waited too long to come back and then hung up on me. I CANT BELIEVE I WASTED ALL THAT TIME AND MONEY ON SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! SO UNPROFFESIONAL. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP THEY ARE LIARS AND WILL CHEAT YOU ANY WAY THEY CAN! STAY AWAY!

Being new to Texas, I knew that I had to buy a truck or SUV to accommodate the climate and roads. I shopped online for nearly two months and visited at least a dozen dealers including certified used and used dealerships. Being that I am not from Dallas, its hard to gauge whos an honest dealer, and whos not. I had several deals on the table making it hard to decide. I went to the Carfax website to see dealers registered with Carfax so that I could view all of the Carfax details (number of owners, services, etc). Note, I was looking at a lovely 2012 Mercedes GLK and decided to sleep on it before signing. I checked the Carfax website and saw a SUV, with all the bells and whistles, slightly above my price range at Excellence Auto Direct. I called them on my way home at 6pm and spoke with Matt. Seeing as it was drizzling, I was hesitant to come in. Matt GUARANTEED I would fall in love with the car; if not, he would fill up my tank and buy me dinner. He text me the address and I was on my way. When I arrived I was greeted by Matt who turned me over to Navid to actually show me the car. While walking to the car, I noticed a BMW X5 in the same price range, so I asked Navid if we could drive both. So we did! I loved BOTH cars! Embarrassingly, I was completely torn. When Navid and I started working numbers, I couldnt decide on which car! Thats how lovely they were. ALL of their cars are clean ... detailed and in immaculate condition! I kid you not! Long story short, I went with the BMW. It was a little older, but you could tell the owner took care of this car. The mileage was better as well. I pointed out a little button missing and Matt asked his staff to order it immediately. Navid went over all the details of the extended warranty and paperwork. They detailed it again (it was already clean) ... and I was off in my beautiful SUV! The next morning, the dealer with the GLK called back offering me 4% drop in APR if I came and signed the deal. I quickly text Matt and Navid ... and Matt ... even though he sent all of the paperwork to the bank ... was able to get my APR dropped!! WOW! Let me tell you something, these men will work with you. I absolutely love their service - even if you text, they respond promptly. Matt and Navid have addressed any concern or question immediately and even put me in a newer luxury car while they completed a very small repair. Check the reviews, I am definitely NOT a bogus reviewer - I live on Yelp for user experiences. The staff at Excellence Auto Direct are honest, direct, friendly and customer oriented. They even have a service department, so hopefully I can continue working with them on minor oil changes, etc. Trust me, if you are curious about any of their cars, just stop by. It will be worth it. Everyone there is eager to assist you - but I ask for Matt or Navid ...

I was treated with disrespect and hope that you will not give this establishment your business. I called to make sure that they had the title to the car I was hoping to buy. They confirmed that they did. I needed the title to get a car loan through my bank. I go in to buy the car (1.5 hour drive), and they dont have the title. Ive already signed all the paperwork and everything. It was a real pain. So Im forced to finance it through there bank. I fill out the paperwork and we are good to go. No problems, just a minor inconvenience. A few days later I get a phone call saying that the loan agreement was messed up and I had to sign another one, but nothing had changed and they would send me the new one. But obviously a bunch of things changed. I said I was going to have to look over it, but I was not home since my brother was graduating college and would get back to them next week. I get a call from Matt Riahi yelling at me for not getting the paperwork back to him the same day. He questioned my intelligence and continued to raise his voice and pressure me into signing the new loan agreement. I told him I was not home, but would get home that night. He again called me and yelled once I got home. Then I get an email from Anthony Sabu (finance guy) saying how sorry he was for checking the wrong box and for making my payments weekly instead of monthly. He apologized profusely because their bank would not honor the loan agreement i had signed. They begged me to give them a positive review. Some of their bonus structure is based off of reviews, so they beg people for 5 star reviews (hence the high average). A week later I had to get my water pump replaced since it was leaking coolant. The Audi dealership said that someone had put the incorrect coolant in the car (I suspect it was Matt trying to refill the coolant before the sale of the car). I believe they failed to disclose this issue with the car. Matt lacks integrity and at the very least was very rude, condescending, yelled at his customer. Please consider purchasing elsewhere.
