One top notch place for pet supplies. Theyre my go to place to have my dogs groomed; nails done, undercoat brushed out, ears cleaned, etc. They are very professional and do a great job, though they are a bit on the pricey side compared to other places in town. Their food selection is also strictly the good stuff, none of the cheap crap you really dont want to feed your pets (Hill Science, IAMS, Pedigree, etc.). Youll find kibble, dehydrated, freeze dried, and raw here, and the staff is quite knowledgeable about the things they sell. They also have a few brands of sample sizes that they can offer if your pet is a picky eater.

I have two little Shih Tzus. My little boy dog had a horrible experience at the Petsmart on Charlotte Pike where they nicked him all over his body (and along his stitches right after he was neutered!). Needless to say my little guy is completely petrified of grooming and I have been trying to do it myself the past year. I took both of my puppies there today and the staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to work with my little guy! They both look fantastic. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who is looking for a great groomer with affordable pricing.

Ive only had one negative experience here in over a year of being a regular customer. I will discount that unpleasantness for all of the great conversations and advice Ive gotten from the staff. These folks care so much for animals, you can just tell. If you have questions they are more than happy to guide you. I did knock a star off because I am displeased at the high markup of merchandise- but its not Walmart and someones gotta pay the overhead. Other than that, if you need good dog, or cat food, its a great place to be a regular!

The customer service was awesome on my first visit! Purchased a crate pad and chew toys for my puppy. The crate pad unfortunately fell apart on first wash within 24 hrs of purchase. When I tried to return it they said it was between me and the manufacturer. Buyer beware! They do not stand behind their merchandise! Will not go back!

Great selection! I love stopping in at NHP to get food and toys. They always have the best selection of healthy food and treats and I really enjoy the staffs positive attitude. These folks really enjoy their job and you can tell.

This store is great. My shih-tzu has terrible food allergies. I dont know what would I would do if they hadnt helped me get his diet sorted out. They also have wonderful groomers whom my dog loves to visit.
