Do not take your dog here to be groomed. Showed the "Stylist" a picture of what the dog should look like and she said no problem. Got a call an hour later that they nicked the dog and we need to come check it. The nick was pretty deep on the inside of the leg. Salon manager said we could take to their vet free of charge. Took to the vet and they pointed out that all the nails had been cut on one foot and all of them had been cut pretty short and bled. You could see the blood clotted up on each nail. Vet fix my friends pup up and cut the rest of his nails with no problem. Went back to petco so they could clean up the cut. "Stylist" was very impatient with any movement on the dogs part (hello it had been a dramatic afternoon for him). He was not anymore squirmy then a normal dog would be when you are using 10" scissors around the face of a 7lb dog. The cut was HORRIBLE. They kept trying to fix it and we just said wed take him as is. Face is uneven, body is choppy, underside and feet are undone. Dog is 8 years old, yorkie-pom mix. He has been cut several times a year and never had a problem. Just dont feel the "stylist" is very experienced.

Absolute worst grooming service Ive ever encountered! Ive had my dog professionally groomed numerous times before, taking no more than 2 hours for a haircut and wash. The one, and definitely only, time this location has done the same service of washing and grooming took six hours! Never did they call and keep us informed. In fact, we had to call them. When we eventually got our dog back, all the cut hair he had was shedding all over. Doesnt grooming involve removing the hair you cut off the animal?! Lastly, his cut couldnt have been more uneven. I literally took our dog home and had to finish clipping him to make him look presentable. Horrible, horrible groomers who were completely oblivious to A) how bad of groomers they were and B) how much customer service skills they lacked!

Grooming at Pensacola Petco is really BAD. Picked up my dog and she still had mats (and I even pointed out to the woman where the mats were). My dog looked like she had not been trimmed at all. And they do not clean their ears. My dog gets groomed 1-2 times a month, so I know what she should look like after a grooming. For $50, she should not have mats behind her ears or behind her legs. Plus, they charge way more than local professional groomers who do a way better job. Will not be going back.

This store is suck! We received an email with the coupon attached to it but when we try to get it the free item is not available. I came up after a few days with a receipt wit initials of the cashier to proved that I purchased and this 3 associates that I spoke with told me that the coupon has been expired and they cant honor it anymore. Better to go to Petland!

I walked into petsmart fully prepared to spend money on an item I needed. However, the customer service was subpar. I went to Petco afterwards and not only found what I was looking for, but I also got the item for $20 cheaper than at petsmart. The customer service was also excellent.

This is place most definitely has gone down hill, but about what you would expect with this particular chain store. The prices are not great but there are not many places that sell the variety of pet supplies so you really cant complain that much.

Would definitely not recommend this place. Staff nice enough but i almost cried when I saw my dog. With all the random close cuts I cant believe she wasnt bleeding profusely. I wont go back.
