My only regret is not doing this sooner. The whole experience was very positive. Everyone did a great job of explaining the process and put my mind at ease. On the day of the surgery, I knew what to expect and Dr. Loden and his staff did a good job of talking me through the whole experience. I was a little anxious because I read so many different things online about LASIC, but by the time I was sitting in the prep area I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep. The actual surgery went by pretty quickly. Dr. Loden explained everything that he was doing and there was only a small amount of discomfort. Everything went really well and my recovery has been pretty easy so far. Dr. Loden even called me the evening after my surgery to make sure that everything was going well and to answer any questions about the recovery process. At my follow up appointment the next morning, I already had 20/20 vision and it will only improve as I continue to recover!

My experience with Loden Vision Center has been beyond negative. I had an appointment with Dr. Mills. Instead of being seen by Dr. Mills, I was seen by her student for an unsupervised exam. After the exam, I had a horrible eye infection. The glasses and contacts I ordered were incorrect. Loden did bring me in for further testing and said I did not need to check with my insurance. They then claimed my eye problem wasnt their fault and sent me a bill for the tests. They also made a mistake with my $600 bill in the optical department, and two months later sent me a $105 bill in the mail. However, the $35 they accidently charged me for a copay they plan on keeping. A mistake on their part is not my financial responsibility. With their reasoning, a store can later bill a higher price for a product already purchased. I think not! Perhaps they are wonderful for LASIK, but I do not recommend them for glasses and contacts. Very disappointed!

The staff at Green Hills location are very nice. Make sure you do your RESEARCH!!!!!. I went to Loden because I wanted to get rid of dealing with contacts & glasses. They suggested I get the Restor - multifocal cataract surgery and I asked them what the side effect would be & they stated the only thing is that I would not be able to see very small print - unfortunately that was untrue. Six months later and several additional doctors appointments, I am having to use readers on the computer & for regular reading. My vision is blurry 60% of the time, they burn all the time and I have "floaters" 100% of the time. I was told my eye problems are due to dry eye (never had dry eyes before procedure) and they recommended all these additional procedures which were costly and that I could not afford I would much rather go back to contacts & glasses - they were less of a hassle and I could see a lot better.

I first met Dr. Loden 11 years ago when I needed lens replacement for a cataract. I was amazed with the results, and vision in that eye has been nearly perfect all this time, since the replacement lens compensated for my poor eyesight as well as eliminated the cataract. Recently my other eye required the same procedure for cataract removal, and I would not have considered any practice other than Loden Vision. This time everything went just as I knew it would. Dr. Loden and his staff are highly professional, reassuring and friendly. And the result is that I have incredible vision in both eyes now, each day rediscovering the amazing detail and clarity of vision made possible by Dr. Loden and the incredible technology he offers to Middle Tennessee.

I just wanted to thank the wonderful staff at Loden Vision Center for changing my life. I have been wearing glasses since the third grade then onto contacts/glasses. I am nearsighted with an astigmatism in both eyes. I live in Knoxville and was scheduled to have lasik surgery only to find out my corneas were to thin. My doctor referred me to Dr. Loden I called the office and spoke to Laurel she was so wonderful and helped me get everything scheduled even a hotel close by with special rates. I had a refractive lensectomy on April 19, 2016 and on April 20, 2016 I was seeing 20/20 for the first time in my life without glasses. I am so pleased with the results, and would like to say Thank you again Dr. Loden.

My whole experience with LODEN Vision has been Amazing! They took care and time to first test my vision,then before I realized, I was set up for surgery the following week. My husband gave me new vision this year as a sweet gift! I am truly thankful to have been able to have laser no scalpel eye surgery. I wore glasses for 39 years,heavily wearing my face and mood at times. (LOL I still search for my glasses sometimes) The surgery took 15 minutes and I loved the whole learning experience. I was allowed to open my eyes to get out of the surgery chair and I could see my booty covered shoes!!! My vision has improved each day. 20/10!!!! I feel like a SuperHero! I have had the greatest experience with Loden Vision center, I have wore glasses since the 3rd grade and have had contacts since the 7th grade. I saved up for over 3 years for the lasix procedure and was very nervous about it, thats probably why i saved so much since i was nervous. i work on an Ambulance and on night i was working and running a call in Franklin at midnight and i had a contact fall out of my eye while I was driving to the ER, so that was the breaking point i called and made an appointment the next day sine in my career we work 24hr shifts. I would recommend Dr Loden to any one who needs vision correction surgery, I have already reccomended 2 other co-workers to Dr Loden.

I have an absolutely amazing experience with Loden Vision. I just had my custom iLasik last night and I came in today for my post-op appointment and I already have 20/15 vision. This whole process has been SOOOOO much better than I could have ever imagined. The surgery itself was completely pain free and I never felt anything. Dr. Doherty did my procedure and he was phenomenal from beginning to end and went WAY out of his way to fit everything into MY schedule and made sacrifices on his own schedule. I HIGHLY recommend Loden Vision Center and Dr. Doherty for anyone who is wanting to better their vision. This has been truly life changing and my only regret was not doing it sooner.

The new Loden Vision Centers location on Rivergate Parkway is an amazing state of the art facility, beautiful, comfortable and spacious.
