Actually, my comment is to Phil R and not about this (seemingly) horrible store. I will say, however, that I came to this site because my son wants to purchase a $399 sofa there for his Christmas. Thanks to the comments here, we will not be making that purchase, so thank you all very much. My reason for writing to Phil R is because he said something in his review that offended me, although I can see that it was not intentional. Mr. R said, "when they delivered (his furniture) everything was RTA (ready to assemble)...They never said that the dining set, desk, and TV cabinet would have to be assembled." It was what Mr. R said next that poses the problem. He said, "...but what if a woman had picked out the same type of stuff and they just dropped off a bunch of boxes!" I can help you with that, Mr. R. She would open the boxes, lay out the instructions, get out the tools she needed and actually follow the instructions to put together her purchase. Even if Mr. Rs concern comes from a good place, (which I think it does), it is misguided and offensive. Thats all I have to say other than thank all of you again for taking the time to come here and post. It saved my son from making a purchase that would have been almost catastrophic to his budget if it turned out to be wrong.

We bought 2 couches here in Nov. 2008. Three months later the seams on ALL the cushions were ripping apart. Big holes that make the foam show and hang out of the fabric. We had taken great care with these couches not even allowing our children to sit on them b/c they were in our living room and for company. There was NO reason whatsoever that they should have been ripping this way. My husband called the store only to be told that our warranty did not cover a defective product. We had paid extra for the warrenty too. Big waste of $$ that was. I am so upset and feel very cheated. We paid for the couches to be scotch guarded too as we had hoped to have them for years to come. More $ wasted. By the time it all added up we paid @ $1200 which to us is A LOT of money. We have 5 children, a tight budget and we had saved & saved to buy some nice furniture for our living room. The company basically told my husband, Sorry, but tough luck. That to me is completely unacceptable. I understand this is not top notch furniture, hence the lower prices than a big, fancy store but at the same time the furniture should not be falling apart after only 3 months with minimal use. Do NOT buy here. Chances are you will regret it just like we do.

I bought a sofa and love seat that was very comfortable, until two weeks later when they broke. They broke by simply using the arm rest to stand. This shows poor quality of the horrible furniture they provide to their consumers. Customer service: I called the warehouse to let them know about the furniture breaking and was told they would replace it but would not deliver nor pick up the furniture without another delivery fee which we had already paid. I did end up taking the sofa and love seat back to Furniture Warehouse but it was 10 minutes before closing. I was then told they would not take the sofa at this time and to bring it back in the morning. So that was two days I had to rent a truck to get this sofa back to them. The next day they didnt have the original sofa in stock that I was told is in the warehouse. I then had to pick out a new set because they refused to refund the money for the broken sofa. I spoke to a manager regarding all of the issues, he told me that it was final and I was lucky that he wasnt accusing me of breaking it during a party. This company may advertise Home of the $399 Sofa but we just want them EVICTED.

Well I have bought furniture all over the South but this places beats all I have ever seen. I went in bought 2 recliners, dining room table and 4 chairs, computer / office desk, and a TV cabinet. The prices werent bad I spent about 1350.00 on it all but when they delivered it everything was RTA (ready to assemble) like you would buy at Walmart with the exceptions on the recliners. They never said that the dining set, desk, and TV cabinet would have to be assembled. It was not that big of a deal for me but what if a women had picked out the same type of stuff and they just dropped off a bunch of boxes! Well I cant turn back the hands of time but I assure you they lost about 2500 of business from my family after I called them to say STAY AWAY from that place. They were going to go Saturday and buy some new stuff but not now. So if you dont mind putting stuff together they have it in a box but I would check with Walmart first because you can get the same stuff for a better price!

I bought a leather loveseat and sofa and I paid around 1,400 plus 150 dollars for the warranty. After one year, I realized that almost all of the leather is peeling away from the couch. My sofa is all cracked and i vome to the point that Its not realy leather; its some type of cheap material to fool customers and make it look like leather... I called the customer service and they gave me different numbers to call... after trying many numbers and staying on hold for long period of time, a customer representative said that they cannot do anything about it. They said peeling and cracking are not included in the contract. when I signed the warranty I specifically asked the sales man what is covered the warranty, and he answered anything happened to it including tearing and cracking we repair or replace it within 5 years... and here I call no one even bother to listen to me.... if there was a zero I would not even give them one star... Dont waste your money here please!!

Quality of furniture is terrible. We bought all of our furniture from this store along with a warranty for the couch. They dropped off the couch with a hole in the cushion, and when I removed the cushions I realized there were candy wrappers and food crumbs. They had sent us someones used couch and then argued with us that it was new. We were told everything was covered under warranty but they wouldnt fix the hole in the cushion because of the time it took for me to report to their warranty department, and also they do not fix leather on the couch at all. They refused to even clean the obviously used couch they sent. The dinning table we bought and chairs broke only months after purchase and regular use. The couch wooden boards bowed after only a year. The only thing we have kept from this place that hasnt broke is a night stand. Buyer beware! This place is a huge scam, with crappy inventory, and will not fulfill their promises on warranty. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

OMG, go someplace else. I ordered a leather sectional sofa and paid extra to have it delivered. When they delivered it they plopped it in the middle of my living room, still fully wrapped in packaging material, and quickly left. When I went to remove the plastic wrapping I was shocked to discover that the plastic was actually stapled directly into the leather. IN THE LEATHER!! And I dont mean in an inconspicuous spot. I mean in very visible places. Must have been 50 staples total. So I called the store in horror, and they were very nonchalant about it, saying "The manufacturer did it". So would they bring me a new sofa? No. I have to bring the sectional sofa back to their store so they can look at it, even though I paid them $70 to deliver it. So yea, go someplace else. I wonder how they stay in business????
