We were looking for a leather recliner sofa set and looked at several furniture stores in the area ( rooms to go , ashley furniture , keepers , havertys ,american signature ) and finally came to visit Laz-boy store. We had browsed through the reclining sofa sets in the store and finally settled on model we wanted to purchase and asked for an estimate. Our Sales Person Bob was trying to push us to purchase the leather protection package which really did not offer much protection as it did not cover wear and tear and cost approx 350 bucks for the three seater sofa , love seat and single recliner. The Sales person quoted us a price of approx 4800 including the discounts and protection package. When I requested that the warranty protection be removed from the package, he was very rude and took away the estimate quote paper from my hand and give us the option to leave the store if we did not purchase the protection and the estimate cannot be changed. We basically had no option but to leave the store and decided to get a sofa set from a different location. I did not expect this type of service from a high end retailer like Laz-boy.

I purchased a couch in December, a sectional fabric "Collins" it started to turn colors after 1 month. I spent 3 months trying to get someone to talk to me about what to do. They sent out a "technician" to take pictures to see if we got approved for exchange. After waiting a month to hear back they told me they needed more pictures. I sent more, another 3 weeks go by and finally approved for exchange. I went in to pick another couch and had to pay MORE $ bc we got leather. Nothing was done about the inconvenience! We waited another 4 weeks for delivery and when it arrived the guys didnt have it covered and damaged the leather. I refused shipment and now trying to get someone to refund me. No customer service and not happy at all!

We walked in and were immediately greeted by a salesman, Bob. He was very polite and listened to what we wanted to see. He explained the store layout and made sure we knew where to find what we wanted to see. He then left us alone to shop. There were two times we needed some help, and appeared to answer our questions. He never pressured us in any way. We selected a couch and love seat, and he quickly handled the paperwork. He handed us off to Ashley, and she too was very polite and helpful. She completed the transaction and made sure we understood everything. It was a perfect shopping experience and everything I could possibly want in this experience. The prices were great, and we got an extra 10% off!

Walked into the store today in hopes of finding a recliner for my nursery. I was ten steps in the door when a sales man (older white man white hair) stopped me and told me to come back to the door where he was standing. I wanted to look around and was told that I couldnt do that until he explained the store and showed me around. I didnt want to be shown around I just wanted to walk around and look and was told I couldnt and I could leave. I said fine and left. If you dont want customers to look around your store dont have hours of business on your door you should have a by appointment only sign. Very rude. Dont know how they are in business with this kind of attitude.

I am hoping I will enjoy my furniture if I ever get it. On February 20, 2014 I ordered a couch, loveseat and chair. The chair was on the floor in the store. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks to get my furniture. I really expected that to be the worse case date. It has now been 10 week and I still do not have any furniture. When I bought this furniture, I never negotiated the price and paid what they asked. I wish now I had gone elsewhere, and cannot imagine that I would ever do business with this company again.

well the sales people are nice. but after the sale all customer service seems to end. a couch we bought is ready for delivery, but I was very rudely told they would "try" to get my purchased product to me whenever they may happen to be in my area. that was over a week ago. I paid for delivery. I think Ill just go and get my money back and go somewhere else. update: well this post did get their attention, they delivered my couch the next day. Should of refunded my delivery fee

I am not going to type out the entire story as it has been going on since 11-2014. The bottom line is the "premium fabric" the salesperson gushed over is terrible. It balls up into little fuzz balls and we were told we would need to shave the couch a few times before the piling would stop. Well after grooming the couch ourselves several times and a visit from the Lazy Boy Master Barber

I dont recommend them at all. I have had a miserable time trying to change my order before the sofa began being produced and cannot even get a manager or franchise owner to call me back. Also, I asked to cancel the protection plan and theyve done everything BUT cancel it. This has been a very frustrating and non communicative process.

Everything about our purchase was great. The sales staff was helpful and informative and the delivery drivers Bobby and Paul were wonderful. We have shopped here for a couch and two chairs and now two recliners.
