Absolute worst experience Ive ever had with a company. I purchased a sofa from AS a few weeks ago. Three days after receiving the sofa, one of the buttons popped off and I could see the others were loose AND the center of the sofa was bowed. We are NOT a heavy family. I weigh 115lbs and my sofa bowed after three days? When my husband called to have someone look at the problem they made an appointment a week out and I WAITED THREE HOURS for the service man to arrive. He did not arrive. When I called to see where he was, the woman said my husband called and cancelled the appointment. HE DID NOT CANCEL the appointment. He called her to find out what happened and SHE HUNG UP ON HIM. When the service man finally did come to my house a week later he was very nice and agreed that the sofa was bowed and the buttons were loose and would come off eventually like the other one. He called a woman and they agreed to refund my money WHEN THE SOFA WAS PICKED UP. The first available pick up date was a week later. FINE. The woman told me again that my money would be refunded when the sofa was returned to AS. NO ONE TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO CALL after the sofa was returned. I even signed a paper when the sofa was picked up assuming that my money would be refunded. That was a Friday. Five days later, my money was not back on my credit card so I called AS looking for an answer. She said "ok looks like it was returned. Ill process that now." I WAS SHOCKED. They had NO INTENTION to refund my money until I called to complain. She said "you needed to call to ask for the refund after the sofa was picked up". SO WAIT. You picked up my sofa. I dont have the sofa, and I have to BEG you for my money back when its been sitting on your showroom floor in the discount section? Jerks. An absolute scam. DO NOT buy your furniture here. It was a horrible experience every step of the way.

I never write reviews, but they have the worst customer serivice that I had ever encounter. I bought a bed and a livingroom from them. First they dont call and then they kept moving the delivery day. After a month of calling back and foward they moved the delivery of the bed for December 19th after I bought in October... Everytime I called to confirm they keep pushing the day, well I wouldnt mind if the actually deliver the furniture!! My living room was suppose to be delivered two days ago, I call to confirm 2 days before and they say they will deliver it, then they call to confirm friday to tell me they will deliver my cocktail table on friday .I was a little suprise. What about the rest of the livingroom? oh the lady very politle says sorry we dont have it you will need to pick another one. After I called and confirmed the day before!! She said she doesnt know what I was taking about, that she only knows what the computer said. I was feed up with it and asked for a re-fund. She wasnt going to return my delivery fee because I had a discount!! What is that suppose to mean, why wouldnt I get all my money back! After getting really upset I believe I got my refund, hopefully since I need to wait a whole week for them to issue it. I might say I went to rooms to go the next day and recieved my new livingroom the same weekend. They have beautiful livingroom sets and furniture at American Signature, but what is the use if they dont have it in stock? Nothing I purchased was available before a month, even though when I purchased it the sell man schedule it to be deliver one week after. Funny thing everything was delay they didnt even call me to tell me they didnt have the furniture, and of course the completly forgot to refund the money!! HORRIBLE experience do not buy there!

I’m filing a formal complaint against this company with the State Attorney General and the BBB. Had a $6000 order delivered in March to a brand new house. Delivery folks dragged a box on my BRAND NEW floors and caused visible damages. They also scratched the front door when moving in boxes. They tried to deny it. Called American sig and they said someone will meet me out the next day-guy didn’t show Called again and rescheduled for the next day. Rick Frizell is their “supervisor” for this sort of thing and when I met him at the house he had the nerve to deny it was the delivery guys again. After making sure he understood it was his delivery guys he told me it would be about a week before I heard anything. Three weeks go by and so I called again. Their supervisor that met me out at the house had clearly hoped I would either forget or let it go because he said “oh yeah, just get a bid from a contractor and send it to me”. So my floors were damaged, and now I have to go out and get bids. Anyway, got bids and emailed it to him. Never heard back. Sent follow up email-never heard back. At this point I emailed the corporate office. As you guessed it-never heard back. Called the store last week, they ASSURED me their guy would give me call that day. Didn’t call. Called again yesterday and they ASSURED me again their guy would give me a call. Still waiting. It’s August now and my issue is not even close to being resolved. Not from my lack of trying either. Only reason I’m giving one star is because negative stars was not an option.

We ordered furniture and paid for over half of it on the spot two weeks ago. The salesman stated one of the pieces was not in stock and we would need to wait a month. No problem at all, we set up for delivery the day after it was supposed to be in. Two days ago we called to add something to the purchase. The lady told us our furniture wouldnt be available until mid March, but no one called to tell us. She said "I see a note here to call you today about this"... we called on a Friday afternoon at 4:30pm... really? She was going to call me that day? What time I wonder? Then she stated there was no gaurantee that it would be available then. So we are supposed to wait over two months from the time we made our purchase to see if our furniture might show up? We bought the set while it was in stock... what happened to it in the mean time? They are rude, unhelpful, and dont seem to care about their jobs. I will never recommend this store to anyone. And Im planning to cancel my order if they push the date back again.

Very bad experience with customer service (or lack thereof). The poor floor salewoman was quite nice, but when we attempted to purchase our sofa/loveseat set, she kept getting an error on scheduled pick-up times. Frustrated, she finally called over a floor manager. Turns out the factory hasnt ordered any of the sets in our color. We ask when it WILL be ordered. Very flippant, he answers "I dunno. Could be next week, could be months from now. We may never get that color in again." Then he looks over at the floor salewoman that has been helping us, and says, "Guess you better pull that color swatch from the selections." Then turns to us and says, "Cant you take it in chocolate instead?" Hmmmm, no. No offer to call the warehouse and find out when/if the color will be stocked in the near future. No offer to call us if it ever comes in. Needless to say, we left the store...costing the gal that was attempting to help us a commission. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
