I brought in a a vintage bike I was working on and they did not give me the "were here to help" vibe. I had asked them to adjust my derailleur and brakes and replace a couple missing bolts. They ran into a hiccup with my shifter, it was broken, so they couldnt adjust the derailleur. Thats fine, but they still charged me 20 dollars and didnt adjust my brakes or even pretend to look for the parts I needed. Just gave me the old "youre going to have a tough time with that." Well maybe I will or maybe I wont, but either way Eastside didnt seem interested in my business. I would not recommend bringing in your vintage bicycle to Eastside.

Excellent service! Ive been taking all of my bikes to Eastside for the past 5 years, and the service has always been wonderful. Theyve done a couple of very detailed post-crash inspections for me, and have gotten my bike back in top shape every time, including custom-ordering replacement parts that were specific to my Felt bike model. Theyve even done a few very small and simple quick adjustments (2-minute adjustments) on all of my bikes free of cost, always making sure to point out and explain the issues to help me learn how to address the basic and simple stuff on my own. Great folks, cant recommend enough!

I recently did a full rebuild of a full suspension mountain bike, and the crew at east side was incredible in the help they offered through that process. Multiple times they happily provided me with fast, quality services at a very fair and affordable price. Even in the instances where I wasnt bringing them business, they would generously take the time to offer guidance and expertise on different tasks, home-built tools and solutions, etc. I will go out of my way I the future to make sure that they get my business and that of anyone else I can direct their way. Hats off to you guys, and I owe you all a beer.

We brought our bikes in for a fitting. The bikes were built by a friend and used various parts. The gentlemen who did the fitting was great and so down to earth. Unfortunately his coworker kept telling us everything that was wrong with the bikes. To top it off he was stated to fix the parts would easily be $400 to $1,000. Being first time bikers, this was very intimidating and off putting. We ended up taking our bikes elsewhere and the fixes were only $75 and not the price Eastside quoted us. All in all a very arrogant and off putting shop.

Spent over an hour in the shop. Had a great experience. Ended up ordering a bike they didnt have it in stock. Was told it usually takes a week or less, but to give a few days because of the 4th of July Holiday. 2 weeks later, heard nothing. Gave them a call only to hear they had put the order in much later than originally advised. It doesnt sit right that a company can be comfortable with taking my money, but not making sure they hold up their end of the deal. May try again in the future as they have a good rep. In the community.

Met the owner at a bike demo at Lock Four. He was about to go on a ride with his friends when we showed up with my squeaky mountain bike. He got right off his bikedand helped me out immediately, and was so friendly too. Apparently my disc brake was out of alignment and he fixed it in like 20 seconds, then proceeded to tweak around with the rest of the bike. He knows his stuff and was SO NICE. Cant wait to try out the bike shop. What a great guy, so the shop must be awesome too!

Employee mocked my bike and then tried to make me feel ignorant for not knowing they only do scheduled tune-ups which their website did not say. Go somewhere less pretentious. Less a bike shop and more a haven for douches. As I was writing this review they literally mocked the next person through the door for their bike who ALSO wanted a tune-up which they denied him. Move along this place isnt for you.

I came in looking for help with a flat and possibly an alignment. The guy behind the counter was rude and only rattled of pirces and short answers when i asked some questions about whether i needed a new tube or tire didnt even look up at me, i guess assuming that because im young i wasnt seeking to spend money but his attitude confirmed his own suspicions

Needed to replace a crank-set on my mountain bike. The dude was working with his back to me - wouldnt even look at me. Just mumbled theyd probably have to order it and itd be $250 not counting labor. No make or model, so no clue where he got that number. Bought it online and installed it myself for $100. I wont return.

Had a great experience here, took my bike in for a tune up and they were very friendly and educational (very new to road biking) turns out I didnt need a tune up but they set me up with a flat kit and light and taught me some basic maintenance. Will definitely make this my go to shop.

Brought my bike in and had a derailleur and brake adjustment along with replacing a couple broken spokes. Miles had me in and out in about 25 minutes. Would definitely recommend this bike shop to anyone in the Nashville area.
