I went to this shop with just one singular question to be answered. I needed to know if my integrated shift nub could be replaced for an okay price. I pretty much knew that it couldnt, i just wanted to ask. Well i got my answer and then everything went to hell pretty quickly. The guy took one look at my bike and said alot of things that made no sense, and i could tell he was trying to get me for as much money as he could. 1.) Apparently my brand new bike that has been rode less 80miles was " in terrible shape" and "needed a tuning " as it was " un-ridable." Really? Because i just rode it 4 miles over here, and i know when a bike needs to be tuned. 2.) To get a new handle bar assembly for my bike was going to cost "about $300 or so", hmmmm....thats weird because the bike only cost me $500, so i SEVERELY doubt just the handle bar assembly is $300. 3.) To get this supposed $300 he would have to "contact Shimano and order it" Oh WOW that almost made sense to me except my bike has no shimano parts. 4.) And heres the thing that REALLY messed my day up. After the guy got done tell me that my $500 bike was going to cost like $500 to "fix", i was riding my bike home when all of a sudden my back tire went flat. Normally i would say this was due to a complete coincidence, however the thing that flattened my tire was not something you just find outside. What did i find you ask? A BRAND NEW PAPER STAPLE THAT WAS DIRECTLY IN LINE WITH MY TIRE. So this guy chooses to create business for his shop when he thinks the person hes talking to is stupid. Long story short, dont go here EVER unless you want you cash stolen from you for something you dont need.

SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! I have bought 3 Giants and a Surly from Truly Spokin. I have had numerous cycles worked on at their shop and received first class service everytime. The last bike I purchased from Mark at Truly Spokin was a Giant XTC Hardtail that I traded one of my roadbikes for. Yes, thats right, I traded in one of my old bikes for a new bike. Mark not only let me trade in a bike that I was not using but gave a very fair value on my older bike. After I brought in my old bike I test rode numerous new bikes he had on the floor. Every bike I test rode Mark would adjust the seat, bars, tire air, fork air, suspension etc.etc. for my size and weight. The level of help I received from Mark was amazing! Mark doesnt just throw smoke and mirros at you to oversale you. He genuinely cares about you and is happy to explain why this or that component will benefit you. The great staff at Truly Spokin not only service and sell bikes for a living but they still ride and race bikes every weekend(Thats Important to me because if you use it on Sunday you know if it works on Monday).Truly Spokin also sponsor local rides and fund raisers in the community. For example, the past weekend putting on the Epic Toys for Tots Ride at UWF where hundreds of toys and bicycles were collected for needy families. I have purchased many different things from many different retailers but have Never been treated over and over again like the way this great group of guys treat me at Truly Spokin. Thanks Again Mark you are "Truly" an asset to the cycling community. Reggie Barnsdale

I dropped my bike off for a simple tune-up before the holiday season and was told that it would be ready in one or two days. I called them after about four days and was confronted with the excuse "we have been selling a lot of bikes because of the holidays coming up". I understand that this may be true, but dont tell me it is only going to be a couple of days. I got a phone call on Jan. 4 saying my bike was ready. By this time, I almost forgot I even owned a bike (I was currently skiing in Colorado when I got the call). When I went to pick up the bike, the total came to $20 more than expected because they went ahead and replaced my inner-tubes. I would have approved this addition, but at least communicate with me before you add a service. To top it all off, the man working when I came to pick up the bike was extremely blunt and short tempered with me. Dont go to this bike shop. This disorganized shop doesnt lead me to believe that I had a fluke experience. Terrible and very disappointing.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Shortly after I got into cycling a friend directed me to this shop. From day one whether I was buying a spare tube or a new bike I was made to feel like I was top priority. I remember the first time I went in there I was offered food and drink while I waited for my bike to get worked on. They also take the time to try and educate you along the way, and that has helped me a lot. If your thinking about getting a bike and you want the best service and the best fit go see Mark at Truly Spokin. I have purchased my first new road bike from them and I love my Giant Defy. I also purchased my shoes and my helmet and most all of my other accessories. I even remember one time when I lost a rear bike light and Mark warrantied it for me, thats a level of customer service you just dont find anymore.

Terrible experience. I was told the bike would be ready by Friday, which was a generous 6 days since I dropped it off on a Sunday. Called on Saturday, was told that I would have to wait until Monday or Tuesday now? And they gave me attitude about it as if I was some kind of jerk for asking. So I pick up the bike on Monday, they charge me, tell me that they want to change a bunch of other stuff on it and basically say my bike is garbage, I go to ride the bike and the problem has not been fixed at all. What? BOTTOM LINE: Terrible customer service, long wait time, bad mechanics...Enough said.

I went to Truly Spokin to get new tires put on my bike. They first told me it would be done in a couple of days, and that it would be $26 per tire and $10 labor. Long story short, I go to the shop three different times, and my bike isnt finished. They said they would call me each time, I never got a call. After my final trip they tell me it will take 20 minutes; they call me about 20 minutes later to tell me its finished. I waited about a week for a job that took 20 minutes and was suppose to cost ~$60, and ended up being $80. I wont be returning.

I went in looking for a nice bike that would last a while. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of the guys. The one guy that finally did help I dont believe even worked there but he was very nice. When I made the comment that I was new to bike riding they pretty much blew me off. Not a good way to get business guys. Treat all people like they are your only customer. I could have bought the most expensive bike in your store had I wanted to but with customer service like that will never happen!
