This bike shop was well qualified and perfectly capable to complete the service I needed. Unfortunately they were also vague, overpriced, unprofessional and untimely. I needed a decent amount of work done to my road bike and knew that it would not be cheap to get serviced, I had heard that Bikers Choice was a decent shop so I figured Id try it out. The main man there who I will not name was helpful, his slight condescending tone was to be expected but he was of good assistance nonetheless. The first issue arose when I requested a "work order invoice" or estimate of prices of what work was to be completed. The work order was missing several items that I had to call and re-state which cause me slight uneasiness. This wasnt a huge deal, people make mistakes, i get that, but it did me to be a little skeptical of their reliability. Secondly, I brought in some items I bought online to be installed on the bike and the main man persisted to tell me how my parts would be sub par to the parts he suggested. He came off as a salesman and thats something I really dont look for. The biggest issue was the timeliness and final service. After having my bike in the shop for over a week, the main man said that it would be around another week to have it complete. By the time I got my bike, two and a half weeks later, he proceeded to tell me he found more issues not previously seen. So it took him over two weeks to tell me that my bike was still not rideable. Also, he added brake cables that I was never told about, and charged me way more in the end than anticipated. If that wasnt the icing on the cake, he then told me that he purchased the wrong size tires for my bike. This is a person that works on bikes for a living, and he purchased the wrong tire size. That was just surprising and utterly disappointing. I was as nice as I could be to him when talking in person and on the phone and he admitted that he was sorry but if Im going to pay for quality service, I expect quality service. Another gentleman working there did give me a discount of 5 bucks for the trouble so that was nice. All in all I will never go back there and although they are very capable of good service and good products, I urge you to consider the other bike shop options.

Bikers Choice in Mt. Juliet is a very nice shop with top brand name bikes, accessories, and attentive staff. These guys know their bikes and are willing to share their knowledge with you no matter your skill level. My first interaction with the shop was on a group ride. This was the first time I had been on a group ride and they made me feel right at home, and have made me feel right at home ever since. For anyone reading this that is in the market for a new bike, you need to check these guys out. When I got back into riding I purchased a bike from one of the big box stores. Within no time I experienced mechanical issues and had to exchange it for another, only to have the replacement fail too. When I got my money back from returning the second failed bike, I decided to upgrade to a more reputable brand name bike which I purchased online. After putting about 2,000 miles on the bike the frame cracked, and because I bought the bike online there was no warranty/support. After going through this learning experience I decided it was time to purchase my next bike from my local bike shop; Bikers Choice. You get more than a bike when you purchase from your local bike shop, at least that’s been my experience with Bikers Choice. In addition to my new bike, I got the support of Mike, Travis, and Steve all of whom have a true servant’s attitude. It is clear that their goal is to make sure that anyone who comes into their shop is happy, comfortable, and safe on their bike whether you purchased it from them or not. James Mayer

Woah! This new bike shop in Mount Juliet is AWESOME! Its a huge store with everything bicycle related you can think of in it. I went in yesterday and talked with Corey, he was super nice and helpful with any "dumb" questions I asked him. He made me feel comfortable and not rushed at all. I left the bike shop with 100X more knowledge and a new bicycle fit perfectly to me! I could not be happier! While Corey helped me out and outfitted my bike with all the crucial accessories, Travis looked over my bike and made sure everything was spot on. He informed me about some of the small details that only a professional would know. Its amazing how serious these guys take their bikes. If youre looking for a bike, talk to these bike people. They are advocates and extremely patient with a newbie like myself. I called today and had one more question. Mike answered the phone and walked me through exactly what I needed. This shop is full service with AMAZING customer support. I will be buying all my bikes from them from here on out, and I recommend you stop in there and see the new store for yourself. Larry

Good shop but a poor experience. Brought in bike to have brake line lengthened on shimano xt m785. Quoted approx. 40 plus cable. The kicker, picked up bike and job done well. Issue is the cost for a single line. Expecting approx 60 bucks...the cost was over $100 bucks. I could have bought a brand new brake with the longer cable for $86. Why I wasnt told the cost of the parts would be near the cost of a new brake (prior to labor) is beside me. Do they do good work, yes. Before you have a job done, get full details of ALL cost and leave nothing to chance. Update: Received call after my experience from the LBS. It goes a long way with me having them understand my frustration, provide an update and adjust to make things right. Good team, great work and how they resolved things created an advocate. Middle TN is blessed with some excellent LBS and glad things worked out. Thank you Bikers Choice.

I purchased a new bike and way too many toys to go along with it recently at the Bikers Choice. Everyone in there was extremely friendly every time I visited. They provided me with a lot of great advice and suggestions. They took the time to ensure that I was happy with my choices and that I did not have any issues. They have even invited me on their Saturday morning ride. (They have no idea how slow I am even on my fancy new bike.) I am extremely pleased that I did business with Bikers Choice and have recommended them to several friends. There are more and more places to get a quality bike in Middle Tennessee but not all of them provide any where near the level of service that I found here. I almost forgot! I also feel that I paid a very fair price for my new wheels. And while we did order my bike (took three days to arrive), they have a very good selection in the store.

Had a great experience. Bought a bike second hand so I took it in to have them give it a tune up and some new tires. They were very thorough and explained everything before I left the shop and when something unexpected popped up they called me right away to tell me the issue and cost. I was able to drop it off and pick it up within a couple days. All the guys at the shop are very knowledgeable and super nice. They made sure I didnt have any questions before I left.
