Next Ride Auto in Murfreesboro, Tennessee has become my new first stop the next time I need a vehicle, and itll be my first recommendation the next time someone asks for one. Prior to visiting Next Ride, my cars had always been bought from private sellers, usually acquaintances or friends of friends. I dont give my trust easily, especially when Im making a large purchase. And my wallet slams shut in the presence of insincerity, whether someones asking for $5 or $5,000. I spent months searching online before realizing that Next Ride was consistently putting vehicles of interest on their lot at attractive prices. I checked their existing reviews online--positive--and decided to give them a chance. I visited once to look, came away feeling clean, and returned to buy the following week. The Murfreesboro location is a family-run business staffed by straightforward, friendly people. Theyve got a nice selection of vehicles and a decent range of prices. And a critical selling point for me was the fact that they allowed my local mechanic to inspect the vehicle I wanted before committing to the purchase. No pressure, no tricks, no games. In the end, I got the vehicle I wanted at a price I typically wouldnt expect from a dealer lot, and I drove away feeling good about it.

I decided to write this review and give 5 stars because I saw there were only 2 reviews and each gave 2 stars. My wife and I bought a car there 3 years ago. The was and is great and we had no troubles working with the family. I am in the market for another car and will be looking at Next Rides inventory. If they have something that fits my needs and budget, I would have no concerns buying from here again. As to the folks who were upset about the negotiations, You obviously dont know the ins and outs of the car buying process. I sold cars for years. When you go to a big dealership, they can absorb a lot of the losses from people negotiating below the selling price because they have dealer incentives, usually a maintenance shop thats making money, etc. But when you come to a small used car lot like Next Ride, the only profit they have is buying the cars at auction for below book value and then selling them at a reasonable price. As a consumer, if you do your research before buying and a small lot is selling their cars $1,2,3K over what the market value is, then you can complain.

The only reason I am giving them a two star rating is because the car drove decently. I am not too sure if its a family that runs the place, but the woman and kids were very polite and sweet. The man, however, is the reason as to why I would not recommend Next Ride Auto Sales. He was very rude, sarcastic, and made it seem like he was the only one who knew what he was talking about. I understand that they can not sell a car below a certain price because it would be "in the red" Maybe that should be explained during the discussion of price. Instead of "this is how much it is take it or leave" and then literally opening the door when its agreed we can not afford that amount. If you go to Next Ride Auto Sales, do not try negotiation. If you cant afford the car for what its listed, they will kick you right on out the door!

We loved our experience with the folks at Next Ride Auto Sales in Murfreesboro. We showed up without calling first and although they were technically closed, the put down paperwork and helped us immediately. Our salesperson was knowledgeable about the vehicle and offered the Carfax info before we even asked for it. They are a Carfax certified dealer. Staff was friendly, helpful, but not pushy. Their prices are very reasonable. The purchase process was quick and easy. They offer a small warranty with every vehicle. We thoroughly enjoyed our buying experience and will definitely be back when we decide to replace our next vehicle.

We purchased a 2008 Pathfinder recently and had a very pleasant experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the car was priced below book value and was very clean. After many years of dealing with the public I understand that you cant and will not please everyone but if you cant get along with these people your not going to get along with anyone. This business is family owned and operated and I think that is a great thing in this day and age. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good used car and a easy honest experience.

This is a family owned and operated business, with a good selection of vehicles for everyone to choose from. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable about what they do. They dont pressure you into making a purchase and will gladly answer your questions. All the vehicles are in good condition and super clean. I walked away with an affordable car and I was very happy with my decision to visit.

This business is ran by a family, it was nice to see the adult kids working with the parents. It is not a high pressure dealership. They were very patient with us and we test drove multiple vehicles before picking one out for my daughter. We left feeling we have a quality vehicle at a good price. Will definitely make the trip up there next time we need a vehicle.

I had a great experience buying a newer vehicle from Next Ride Auto. The staff were friendly and open, and the price was great. All paperwork was explained to me so that I understood the buying process. And the staff went over the vehicle with me before I left to ensure I knew how to operate all of the controls, spare tire and tools, etc.

Next Ride is a great little small town place. Its a family run operation but with the dedication and efficiency of a large buissness. Wonderful people who are always working hard for their buissness and customers and good prices for cars. Cannot recommend highly enough.
