Im looking to buy our 2nd family car and my experience with these guys 2 1/2 years ago is still so fresh that Im gonna now review them, for 1. They try to trick you into buying a warranty they came in after running our credit 20+ times which we found out a few months after buying the car but they wrote a high interest rate on the paper and an estimate on our monthly payment that wasnt what I wanted to pay that included a warranty I said we couldnt afford warranty so he left for a few minutes then came back with a more reasonable interest rate and a few bucks better monthly payment my husband and I just took it but they kept the warranty in there without our knowledge so they made higher commission, then it took 3 months for them to do tax and title every time we called they had a new excuse why it wasnt done yet and went as far as blaming my husbands ID card which was a flat out lie the guy even offered to pay out of his own pocket for my husband a new ID I was like we just registered his truck a few weeks ago no issue so why are yall having a problem regardless you pay like 400 extra bucks so you dont have to be inconvenienced by doing it yourself yet they made it a horrible 3 month drawn out experience for us. Would I buy from hertz again? Yes thats why I gave it 2 starts for them but at this car lot hell no haha these men were very unprofessional and the man even cussed at me on the phone at one point which was so crazy! Im not mad anymore (clearly) lol Im hoping on a better experience with our next vehicle were looking to purchase. My advice though if you find a cheap car here go for it but dont go in there vulnerable theyll take advantage of you even if youre friendly.

First, I want to say our family has already bought TWO Hertz rental/sale cars from Hertz in the last three years. We have a daughter in need of a car and we have strongly recommended that she purchase a Hertz vehicle. So, we quickly helped her obtain finance approval to do her car shopping at Hertz exclusively and suggested she take an hour drive to the Hendersonville location. She made contact with one of your representatives and exchanged a bit of communication regarding what she was looking for, a 2014 Nissan Sentra. She was told quickly there were none on the lot in such a way that it signaled to her: hey, discussion over. She was told she needed to go to the website. Well, she and I already know that cars are offered through the website utilizing the Hertz2Buy offerings and we bought our first car using that method. Our second car however, was purchased on the spot at a Hertz Car Sales lot after visiting two different locations. Our daughter then tried to re-establish a conversation again with him and ask if she could be contacted if the described model came in on the lot. It was like pulling teeth, so to speak. She has her financing, she knows how much she can spend, and she knows what model car she wants. What is it that you all want from a customer, a difficult interaction that allows a salesman to go back to a desk unproductive while a disappointed customer wonders, "what just happened here?" or a potential sale with a satisfied customer? When a customer says that she drove an hour to pursue buying a car, and she has the start of what she needs to buy a car, someone should appear interested and want a sale.

I really hope you buy a car elsewhere. Learn from my mistake. I purchased a car here 6 weeks ago and still have received any of the paperwork to get the registered and plated. So, I called and asked them where my stuff was and was told it would be another 2 weeks. 8 weeks to send out title paperwork when someone only has a 30 day temp tag, seriously?!? There attitude will change once youve paid for the car. Good luck getting anything after that.

Had a great experience buying from Hertz Rivergate. Mike was great to work with. I have had bad car buying experiences in the past, and his trustworthiness and assistance in finding the best car for me helped a ton. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a great car and a great experience and a great price.

Just visited here today to take a look at a Nissan Maxima and a guy came out he asked if I was trading in my car or what and I told him I was in a lease and he laughed... thats some awful customer service I will be sure to let people know not to give them their service .
