They really dont deserve one star. The accessories department here is far beyond awful. Im going to try and make this story as short as possible but the laundry list of problems Ive had with them is remarkable. Let me just mention I have never written a review on any company. Also if you dont feel like reading my whole story, here it is in a nutshell - by not aligning my tires after they put on a lift, I had to pay $1200 for the damages they caused. But that is just the top of the iceberg. They took my truck and put a lift on it but DID NOT align the tires afterwords nor did they tell me that they did not. (Getting an alignment after a lift is VERY standard operating procedure) This led to having to replace a front control arm which cost $1200 and of course they denied responsibility so I covered it. Moving on - before I realized they had damaged my vehicle I returned to them and bought an after market bumper and tire rack. They put the bumper on but the tire rack took 3 MONTHS to come in. During that 3 months I discovered my control arm was broken. (again, $1200 fix) The tire rack finally arrived yesterday and before I had them put it on I stated three separate times that I would not pay for the rack itself. Furthermore, the head of their accessories department (who is now fired) told me weeks ago that my down payment of $800 would suffice due to the fact that I had to pay $1200 for something they broke and the ridiculous 3 month wait. So today I told "the new guy" about this agreement of $800 BEFORE they put on the tire rack and he said nothing. And again, I told him I would not pay for it, and he said nothing. Of course after the work was done, they say Im going to have to pay $350. Please take a second to think about this - I told them I would not pay, they said ok, then when they finish the work they say they will not release my car because I owe them money. It is disturbing that they are still in business. This is sleezy used car salesman protocol 101 - Never tell the customer the full price in hopes of reeling them in to the point they dont feel like going backwards and finding a new dealer. Before today I wanted to believe that just one employee was the issue so I never wrote a review, but through all of this the manager Wade had been notified of my complications and not once has he called me to apologize or made any effort to contact me and work out the issues. FYI - Wade is the one responding to all of these reviews so I would say do not take anything he has to say seriously. Also, he told his employee that because the man who promised me the price was now fired, I would have to pay in full. So essentially their employee messed up but since they fired him, its now my problem. In short - the aftermarket department here has contracts with places like Toyota of Cool Springs so when a single car customer comes in, youre already in the back of the priorities line and frankly, they just dont care about anyone who has business that small. The area of Brentwood and Cool Springs deserves better than this poorly managed establishment. If you buy a car from a dealership in the area, above all things, ask that they do not send your vehicle here.

We purchased a used Envoy last year (2013) for cash. They were exceptionally nice to begin with, promising if it didnt pass MARTA, to bring it back and they would fix it. They also said they would fix the one stereo speaker that didnt work properly. "How nice of them," we thought. Well that should have been our first clue, but we were not smart and purchased it any way. Surprise...it didnt pass MARTA, they fed us some line about the gas cap not being correct. They fixed the problem and the vehicle passed. Soon after that, the "cluster" just stopped working. The cluster is the sensor that controls all the dials on the dash board; speed, gas, temperature gages. All the "important" dials. My wife called and spoke to the salesman who sold us the car, in which he needed to take the case to a higher power...after a bit of discussion, they agreed to fix the problem and reluctantly at their cost. Shortly after that, the air/heat stopped working. It is now the middle of July in Tennessee and the air is blowing out HOT air. My wife again called, our salesman could not help us, and we were passed to Mitch, who NEVER returned our call. One day, my wife called and Wade (the owner) answered. He kept saying he would check into it and call us back. Shocker...he never called back. We let it slide, went through the sweltering Southern summer with old school windows down everywhere we went. Luckily, we enjoy the great outdoors and looking a wreck by the time we got somewhere. A few weeks ago (August 2014), there came another problem. SERVICE ENGINE SOON. (which we have all along) The machine would just hesitate, not drive very fast. We took it to a dealership to have a diagnostics checked...of course...there were a problem. Today (September 29, 2014), the machine just stopped...all the power from the vehicle went dead, and the car does not work. ALL THAT TO SAY....we were sold a lemon from the very beginning...(I believe they knew it as they were so anxious to get rid of it) they were so nice and easy to work with at the beginning...when we started experiencing one problem after another...they were nowhere to be found. I agree with another statement someone posted...."You cant polish a turd!" As long as youre spending LOTS AND LOTS of money, theyll take care of you. If you only have so much precious cash to spend...go somewhere else! Sadly, I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

The failure of my second vehicle in less than a year prompted my decision to consider buying from a dealer as opposed to private party. I do not regret that decision, heres why. Word of mouth highly praised and recommended Autopro of Nashville, specifically Mitch. I started browsing the available cars in the early evening upon arriving at the lot. This place is the paragon of customer service and low pressure. My uncle had to get the salesman to come talk to us, as he was content giving us time to browse w/o the inherent guardedness that arises when a salesman lurks. Mitch is his name. He was knowledgeable, but transparent. I fully believed every answer he provided to the questions I asked. I really appreciated the "Im honestly not sure on that, Id have to check," rather than the typical off the top of your head response. I had limited interaction with the business as a whole as I browsed, compared, decided, purchased, and drove away in my new (used) Ranger within only a few hours. Mitchs personality, demeanor, and transparency inspired the confidence necessary for me to make such a quick decision. I imagine his coworkers are on par with the caliber of his character, very impressive. Read the reviews, the all say the same thing. Autopro of Nashville is THE place to buy your next vehicle. Are you seriously still reading this? Go there now, see Mitch and tell him the Gold Ranger owner Josh sent you.
