Michaels used to be more into actual artist grade supplies, now its more heavy on crafts and floral takes up a ridiculously huge amount of space. The craft part is understandable but I think they are losing a customer base to people having to go online for supplies. They arent as bad as Hobby Lobby. They seem to be replacing everything with their own store brands. I am surprised with a town the size of Spartanburg, there isnt an actual art supply store. I still shop there at least once a week, but really wish they carried more so I didnt have to shop online.

I love Michaels. I needed vanilla bean paste and had ordered it online, but it didnt arrive in time from Amazon.. came to my local Michaels and they had it, along with several other cooking pastes Id seen in a cook book. They have lots of different tools and gadgets for baking, which I love!

Great place to go for crafts and school projects. Also it is in a great location so you can go shopping for clothes and or food before or after going to Michaels.

It has a little bit of everything you could want for crafting Arts but doesnt carry enough for each individual interest. Its a great shop for a hobbyist

They have more house decorations then actual crafting materials they have no decoden no whipple no clay molds or resin molds

Good hobby store. Has basic supplies for most hobbies and crafts. They also carry small home decor which is usually cute.
