We have been customers of this particular location for over 5 years. Weve noticed food quality and service declining. Last Friday was our final visit. Not only did our meal take over 30 minutes to arrive but my husbands lemon trout looked so bad that the server herself didnt even put it down on the table. This was followed by my veggie platter. I only got as far as my sweet potato, which was not only visibly rotten even from the outside. How anyone in a kitchen can even bake a sweet potato that is rotten is difficult to understand. My husband and I showed our server the rotten sweet potato and asked what they had done to the fish (which looked almost like a piece of rubber and an odd color). In the past, we have spoken to the manager on site but after many, many visits of not having our food cooked as we asked, serving us rotten food takes the cake! Very sad day for this Cracker Barrels. If there is anyway my comment can make it to someone at headquarters, they should send someone to check what is going on. Also, before someone gets seriously Ill from the quality of the food that is being served. Hope my comment is taken seriously as I am not one to write bad reviews.

On almost every out of town trip, we stop for breakfast at cracker barrel and the morning crew is GREAT! I love to go there for breakfast the rush hasnt hit, the atmosphere is calm, collected and the people are great. BUT I cant stand the dinner group, I have a 5yr old and honestly having to wait to get seated, rushed to get fed, rushed to get out of there, just rushed rushed rushed and god forbid you have a child. We were treated like second class citizens the other customers were rude, people out front were rude, it was sickening and a sad side of greenville and Americans to see. People all around were rude, it wasnt like my son was screaming his head off, he was giggling through supper because he loved the way I had placed his mash potatos. If your going in the morning great you will find an amazing place, go in the afternoon or evening and DONT TAKE KIDS AND expect to be rushed and for the other patrons to be A holes!

Horrendously slow. We were on our way out of town and it took over an hour to have dinner. I told the server that I needed my salad quickly and she brought it pronto. We watched her work and she got it done. Our dinner never came out. We watched other tables seat and eat. No dinner. Looks like a systemic problem because when we finally got the food it was hot right out of the kitchen. Someone lost our order. We saw the manager on the way in but never saw him again. Looks to me that he needs to spend a little more time on the floor.

Tried to get breakfast at 8 pm last Saturday night. AFTER WE ORDERED AND PARTIAL FOOD DELIVERED, we were informed that kitchen was out of biscuits and grits??? Seriously at a CB? Talked to Manager and he was totally overwhelmed but offered up undercooked cold grits and dough balls of biscuits within 4 minutes. Also a loud party of 8 which also ruined dinner for all in our area. Upon checkout, manager was running register and comped one side order, really? Seriously spend $15 per plate somewhere much better

Love it every time.. Wish everyone could be more friendly not just some of the work crew... It bring alot more bussiness by word of mouth.. Is how Qt gas station bussiness pick up the friendliness.. But the food perfect every time place clean every time.. But I never seen them give anything away.. Just to say thank u..may bread that was not right size or you know cant be used cause something,but to show a reg..you preciate there bussiness..thats important.. A pie,free soda.. Anything

Came in on a sunday when it was pretty busy. Was seated in under 5minutes seeing as i was eating alone. Waitress was nice and my food came out quickly. Heres where my issues came in. I ordered pancakes 4 eggs bacon and hashbrown casserol. They brought me burnt bacon, maybe 1 scrammbled egg and my pancakes were half done. The waitress tried fixing the problem but my pancakes came back still under done and more burnt bacon lol. Oh well. Ill try again on a different day.

Ive visited Cracker Barrels throughout the country and I feel like the staff at this location is the most genuinely, good hearted staff I have come across. Always pleasant and smiling throughout the visit, its obvious the management does a stellar job keeping the employees happy. If a restaurant isnt focused on customer service, it doesnt last, regardless of the size of the chain. Hence, this location is here to stay.

I had the fried apples and hashbrown casserole. This was a small portion that was just about right for what I needed at the time. Personally, I liked the crunchiness of the casserole. The fried apples were very sweet. I prefer not so much sugar. The service was very good, prompton, and polite.

The tongs for the biscuits are on a retractable cord hanging from the ceiling and when the shorter waiters are not able to reach the handles they grab the tongs from the end that picks up the biscuits. They do this without washing hands or wearing gloves. What else goes on that we cant see?

We came here on a Sunday morning with a party of 13, everyone was extremely accommodating and our waitress was the best! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more! I wish I could remember her name, thank you Cracker Barrel for a great experience

Not as good as the store in Greenville, but still very good. The pancakes in the Greenville store are the best. I always eat breakfast here, doesnt matter what time of day it is, and they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly and on top of things.

Had a great experience here, Heather was on top of things on a busy day she took great care in making sure we were all set food was hot and drinks were full. I always love the store as well its rare I leave empty handed.

Food is good for a home cooked style chain restaurant. Service after 9 is crappy even when they are open till 11. Service during the day time is great. The store inside has some unique stuff and they rent books on tape!

Absolutely love eating here. Sunday dinners are the bomb! Been to this location at least 5 times since we moved here a month ago and loved it every time. Good, HOT, food made correctly the 1st time.

The service we had was outstanding. The reason for the three stars goes to the food. It wasnt cooked properly and had an odd taste to it. It was enough for me not to want to return.

The food was delicious but the server werent good she were very slow in bringing my food. We sit there for about 10 minutes before she came to the table to take our order.
