I came in yesterday 9/17/2016 for lunch. I love this place but this day was the worst experience I have ever had . Our server didnt bring us our drinking until after our food was there. My eggs were under cooked the slime from the eggs was all over my bacon. It did gross me out then we I asked her if my pancakes come with syrup or not she said " I dont know I think it comes like that." With a attitude. And said if u want i could get u some syrup. I said u know what never mind. She never refilled our coffee. It was just bad . I am a server I have worked in the industry for a long time . I did understand the fact that you guys busy but I have been here before at a busier time and still felt welcoming. Another note someone spilled a bottle of syrup in the aIsle and a customer moved a chair to cover it until the person that needed to clean it up will clean it. And every single person that worked there . Kept moving the chair the customer that put the chair to cover it. Had to kept telling everyone what happened . Then the two managers on duty were going back and forth saying to each other that costs .25 cents I assuming it was for the syrup the girl dropped . It was just bad timing I guess . But I dont think I will be back there I hope they find better servers. Like I said I am one and I have been busy at times but I apologize if I can and see if a manager can speak on my behave so my customers leave happy..

We had extremely high expectations b4 todays visit and boy am I extremely disappointed. Where do I begin. The hostess took our name and we waited to be seated only to not be called and at least 10 others were seated before our party of only two ppl. Then went I went to check our place and get a menu since we were waiting I was told we were already seated and there was no line. So ppl who were being seated just walked in and were seated and we were waiting for over 20 minutes and was never called. Ok so then were seated, placed our order it was not home cooked. I ordered macroni and cheese, chicken tenders, sweet potato. The mac & cheese taste like processed cheese and after waiting for my meal I was then told they do not have any more sweet potatoes. I mean really???? I had to send my whole meal back and order a different meal while my husband sat and ate his meal. I didnt receive another folk with my replaced meal and the whole time we were there we only received one napkin. No one seemed to care that we were customers. I didnt even bother making a scene or anything because everyone just seemed oblivious... Maybe there service is btr on a week day instead of Sunday... We will never go back to any Cracker Barrell chain restaurants...

My husband and I made our week-end breakfast trip to Cracker Barrel. We were so disappointed. We had to wait a long time to be served. We found out that Cracker Barrel was out of grits after our meal was served. Our server said that the grits would be available in 30 minutes. I told her that I had also ordered extra bacon, which I did not recieve. My eggs were over cooked as well. The manager came out to see if everything was ok. By this time, we had already finished breakfast. He was explaining that this was a holiday week-end (Good Friday) and they more people that expected. Breakfast is served all day and grits should be planned accordingly. The server finally came with the grits which was too late. She then finally gave us our check and we were able to try to check out. The cashier could not find our ticket. This was par for the course. This was totally not up to Cracker Barrels standard. I was thoroughly disappointed. I think next week-end we will go to IHOP.

Weve been to this Cracker Barrel many, many times and have almost always been very happy with both the food and the service. Not so much today however. The was very good, no complaints there, but the service was terrible! Im not sure if they were short staffed or what, but the server barely had time to listen to us when we asked for something. Wed barely start taling and hed say okay and turn around. There were a few times we needed more than one thing but were unable to tell him, making it take even longer as he then had to make extra trips. He was by no means a new server either, he had 5 stars on his apron, meaning he is supposed to be one of their best servers, so I really dont know what was up. I only docked them one star as usually all the servers are great, friendly and on top of everything and the food is always great. Didnt think in the whole picture that they deserved less than 4 stars. Yes, well go back, and yes, Id still recommend it to friends.

I have been here four Wednesdays consecutively at different times of the lunch hour specifically for the chicken pot pie. Every single time theyve been "out." Its the lunch special on Wednesday. How can you be out of your Wednesday lunch special at 12:15-12:30? Ive been here as early as that and theyre out even then. Im beginning to think this location doesnt even do the pot pie on Wednesdays. Today it was still listed on the board as available and they were out. It is poor planning, leadership, management, communication and customer service on the part of the management team of this location to exhibit this level of nonchalance and preparation for their guests. If the pot pie is too expensive an item to provide it during the entire lunch period, then remove it all together or increase the price of it. To come this consistently and for them to be out this consistently it isnt bad timing on my part. Its poor planning on theirs

Be careful when eating here! Apparently they think dropping your food and breaking glasses at your table is acceptable! My family and I had dinner here tonight and the girl who brought our food out dropped the bowl of corn onto my mothers glass which in return shot a piece of glass at her face. Her face is now hurting really bad and swollen! What did the manager do? Oh he took one item off our check and sent us along! Never once did I hear an apology for the incident! I understand accidents happen but the way you handle it is what makes up for the accident!

Five of us dropped in at Craker Barrell for breakfast and I ordered the Old Timers Breakfast, two eggs scrambled, grits, hash browns, turkey sausage patties, and coffee. A little confusion when the orders were delivered by the waitress with who had what... however, we all got what we ordered in a very timely manner. I had to ask for my one coffee refill, the waitress didnt show any initiative to make sure that our beverages were kept full without asking. Im only giving a 4 star for these two reasons.
