I ordered my dress from here after calling around and finding that she could order it for the lowest price. Once it came in, I went in to have the alterations done. All it needed was hemming about 1/4-1/2 inch. When the dress was supposed to be ready (alterations done and dress steamed) I got to the store and they had made a mistake with the hemming that had to be corrected and told me that they hadnt steamed it yet because they didnt know I was picking it up that day. So once the error with the alterations was corrected, I went back, only to find out that yet again, it wasnt steamed. When I called before going to pick it up the final time the girl I spoke to was polite and understanding but when I arrived at the store she was leaving and told me shed been fired! The only helpful clerk in the store was fired?! They seemed more concerned with the customers in there buying $80 dresses off the bargain rack than with my transaction which was a custom ordered gown that cost more than 10 times that. I think that if you decide to order your dress here to save money that you should pick it up when it comes in and find a reputable alterer to do your fittings.

The Bridal Place & Alterations is by far the worst Bridal or alteration place to ever do business with. I bought a pair of shoes from them and had to have then dyed, after getting them back there was a place that wasnt done. I took the shoes back for them to dye the place they missed, granted the rest of the shoes color matched perfectly and all they had to do was color in the spot they missed. When I went back to pick up my shoes they had dyed the shoes completely over again making them much darker. When I complained about it to the Owner (who also was the one who did the dye work) her only response was "you asked for the shoes to be dyed and they are dyed". I told her that this was unacceptable and this is not the color I had agreed on and they were only to fix the spot that they missed. She refused to reimburse me for the crappy work since the shoes were ruined and now I have to look for another pair of shoes. I wish I would have known before hand that they have had several complaints about their work and business practices, I would have never gone there. Maybe a call to the BBB will help the owner with her business practices....

This store is not even worth the single start that I have to give it! I had the worse experience at BRIDAL PLACE!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO UPSET IN MY LIFE! It takes a lot to get me upset and they made me beyond upset!!! I found what I thought was my dream gown in the midst of the remaining 1,000 dirty outdated dresses they had in the store. I should have left when I saw one upset bride while I was there. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt. After finding a dress, I gave them a month to alter my dress and when I went to pick it up they couldnt find it! They tried to alter the dress that day and messed up the sash! HOW CAN YOU MESS UP A SASH!! The owner blamed me for their mistake and said I had to buy more material for them to redo the sash and they still wanted me to pay for it! No one in the store recognizes customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Knowing what I know now I wouldnt buy a stick of gum from them! This shop needs to close down!! THE OWNER DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSNIESS!!!

I bought my wedding dress here thinking I had found the dress of my dreams , but BOY WAS I WRONG!! Unfortunately, I asked them to do the alterations. I had to go back four times to get the alterations re-done. When I picked it up the last time it still wasnt right, but I just gave up. The second time I went to pick it up they couldnt even find my dress!!! I went the next day and found my dress hanging on the rack to be sold again! I was told that I wouldnt have to pay for the alterations when I found my dress hanging on the rack, but when I went back the fourth time, the manager told me that she could not let me leave without paying for the alterations. Of course I wasnt going to leave it there again, so I had to pay for them to mess up my dress and put it on the rack to sale again! If you buy a dress here, dont leave it at the store!! And especially dont let them do ANY alterations!

Dont waste your or your daughters time. We took my daughters wedding dress to be altered. It needed to be let out about an half inch on each side of the bust. When we returned to pick up my daughters wedding dress it was a total mess. They made the bust line about 2 inches to big. Changed the waist line and got make-up on the back of the dress. They said no problem we will fix. We went back again for the third time and they had not fixed the dress and guess what There is a safety pin where the make up is. I asked why is there a safety pin here. No problem we will fix for you she says....needless to say the dress is NOT FIXED SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME...TERRIBLE PLACE...DONT LET THEM BREAK YOUR DAUGHTERS HEART.

Great Experience and Great Service. I was a little leery about going to this shop after reading the poor reviews, but I am actually really glad that I did. I was looking for a shorter dress for a destination wedding and they gave me several options, all of which were within my specified budget and time frame. They were very friendly and accommodating, and unlike some other stores, did not make me feel overwhelmed or pushed to purchase more. They took plenty of time with me and were patient with me. Maybe they have had some staffing changes in the last couple years or something, because I had a great experience there. Thank you to both the ladies who helped me out!

This store is awesome! They catered to me and helped me find my dream dress. My wedding day was perfect because they helped me to find the dress I wanted. They were very nice about helping me and even when I was embarssed by my size, she (the owner) made me feel like I was just as pretty as the girls in the 0 size dresses. My alterations were done perfect and fit me to a "t". I felt like my business was more appreciated then I did when I went to Davids Bridal. You will be missing out if you dont check them out. I even got most of my bridemaids dresses there for that reason. Give them a chance and you will see :)

This place treated me very well. I was a little intimidated by all the gowns, but I dont like to shop so Im not surprised that lots of dresses made me a little wary. But, I had great help finding the dress that I chose. It needed a few alterations but that was not a problem for the semstress. My gown found and fixed there and was ready to go the day of pickup. Other places hire people to show you were the dresses are and thats it. Here you could tell that she loved what she did and enjoyed helping me find the dress I would look stunning in. Thanks so much!!!
