AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! My daughter lives in Charlotte, and is getting married in a nearby city, but the rest of her family, including me, her mom, live over 1,000 miles away in Massachusetts. So, you can imagine the joy, and stress, of planning a wedding so far away. The dress, being the most special part of her wedding day, was the focus for a trip I took to NC back in February. But, in a different state, I had no idea what would happen, as the comforts of what and who I knew in MA, were gone, but thank goodness for New York Bride & Groom in Charlotte, NC! New York Bride & Groom was our last stop to shop, and the last day that my sister and other daughter were in NC, I wish we had gone here first! From the moment we walked in, I knew this Bridal boutique was special, and unique. EVERYONE, and I do mean EVERYONE that we came in contact with, to help us, have a conversation with, etc were not only professional, but they were kind, and engaged in general conversations with the group we brought it and made us all feel important comfortable. What amazing people and customer service they have here, it is really beyond anything that I have experienced before, exemplary , seems too simple a word. The sweet employee who was helping my daughter with trying on and choosing a dress, listened to what she wanted, and what she liked, and was just so kind, and sooo patient! There is a theme to this Bridal New York Bride & Groom Bridal Boutique...kindness, patience, and caring! I also wanted to specifically, and personally thank both Cory and Krista for taking extra time to speak with me over the phone several times, and help assist both my daughter and I with making sure that she was completely happy. They both were not only patient, but extremely validating, professional, and of course, above and beyond kind! So, I thought of these words, and had great feelings each time my daughter and I spoke of each of her fittings and the experience she, (we) had there, and I wanted to make sure that I took the time to write them down. Too often in life we come across people and people in businesses that we connect with, and appreciate, but sometimes forget to tell them. So, there you go New York Bride & Groom! NY Bride and Groom is a top notch bridal salon. They are 100% honest and upfront which is a rarity in the wedding industry. I was told by Anjolique Bridal in Cornelius NC that I was buying a one of a kind dress - hand made - for their salon only. I saw my exact dress at NY bride and groom for about 50% LESS THAN Anjolique charged. The only difference was that NY Bride was honest and left the label in and Anjolique ripped the label out and sewed their name in -- then up charged it! Grated they can charge whatever they would like, Anjolique lied to me, refused to refund the money.. Thankfully American Express stood behind me and made Anjolique refund my money. I ended up buying the exact dress and 2 others At NY Bride and Groom for the same price as my dress and my veil would have been at Anjolique. Oh - and the best part is the NY bride ACTUALLY orders the exact size you need unlike many other bridal salons who order sizes too large and then charge you 500 for alterations... Anjolique. In the same 24 hour period Anjolique ordered me a size 8 dress (i wear a zero in dresses usually) while NY bride ordered the exact size i acutally needed.. a 4 (bridal gowns run small) I will only refer people to Anjolique in the future.. they even stayed open late when i realized that occurred with Anjolique and let me try on the dress to make sure it was the same dress I purchased earlier that day. They have a fabulous alterations dept - again very honest. They are hand making my veil with my mothers wedding gown lace..they even took the lace home and cleaned it for me. I can not say enough about them. I will remember my experience with them forever! Thank you NY Bride and Groom for your honesty and amazing customer service!

10/10 Would not buy from here again. I ordered a brides maids dress and asked for them to put a rush on my order so that I would have ample time to get it in and have alterations. Fast forward to when I thought should have my dress and they tell me that when it was order it was not placed with a rush due to an error of the associate. Even, after I asked multiple times when ordering it for it to have a rush placed on the order. Now I am set to receive the dress only 2 weeks before the wedding. They could not even give me an exact date to when I should receive the dress, just a time range and a wish that it will arrive sooner. In addition to this, all that they offered in return were apologies and for me to pay to get my alterations done at the store as though this was them being gracious. Like I would really trust them with my alterations when they couldnt even be trusted to order a dress with a rush placed on it to begin with. I think that it is insulting for them to even say that allowing me to pay to get my alterations done at the store is enough of a compensation for their mistake. These people are definitely not taking responsibility for what happened. Brides and bridesmaids be wary if buying from them. Update: ONLY after I posted this review, did they decide to reach out again and offer a free alteration. I still declined their offer. After what I read from some other reviews, and my experience so far, Im sure that cant be trusted to do that.

Ok. There was no way my husband Jonathan and I could have made our LOVELY September 2012 wedding (which we planned in less than five months!) happen without New York Bride & Groom. This team is truly amazing! From day one, when their team learned we were on a tight time crunch, they helped me find the MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding dress that exists on the planet. Literally. :o) My dress was AMAZING!!! Their alterations were perfect, and my dress fit me like a glove. And when they found out that my sister would only have two days to get her bridesmaid alterations done before the wedding (she flew in from California!), they made it happen with EASE. Their menswear team also made my husband look like the hot man he is, and made his groomsmen look really sharp! Tiffany in alterations will put your mind at ease and will help you keep calm -- she is so sweet! Tori in bridal will give you wonderful advice, an honest opinion when you need it and some humor when its all starting to get to you! And Corey will keep your guys in line. (And the owner is wonderful -- she even helped me in the dressing room!) NY Bridal has choices for you no matter what your budget, and they will help take this period of time that can be very stressful and make it fun. The NY Bridal team will feel like your family by the time your wedding day comes. Theres honestly no need to go anywhere else. So, if youre planning a wedding, go there NOW. Go get in your car! :o)
