I recently moved back to this side of town and was happy to see a new Pet Smart in the old K-Mart shopping center. The lay out seems to be a bit congested compared to the Lexington and Harbison locations. As far as shopping for pet items go, it works well enough. I have yet to go to their Banfield clinic, and probably never will due to the negative experience I had with the grooming salon. I have a Yorkie and a Yorkie-poo. I took them in for a grooming appointment and was disappointed with the results. My Yorkie-poo got the full groom which was to include hair plucking from the ears. However, after getting home I found that it was not done. His ears did not even look like they were cleaned. I specifically asked them to shave his male part completely with no hair left on it. He still had hair. My vet recommends shaving it bald to help prevent UTIs. I also asked that the tips of the feet be shaved which was also not done. The hair below his chin was cut uneven, with a random long piece. When I picked them up I was in a rush and did not check the groomers works, because the Harbison location usually does a satisfactory job so I expected the same here. I was wrong. My Yorkie got the face, feet, and fanny groom. The girl that groomed her did a pretty good job. She just did not shave her female part bald or shaved the tips of her feet low enough. Although it is much farther away, I will continue to drive all the way to the Harbison location, which is 20min away, to get my dogs groomed. I wished I could use this location since its only 6min from my house, but the quality of the work is not good. Again, for your basic dog items I will use them. I just wont use their groomer. I might check out their Banfield to see how they are, but no time soon.

i stepped into dog do in the aisle. The owner had brought in her dog on a full stomach for his/her grooming. An employee spotted the problem immediately and there was some liquid and a wipe right there, so she tried to clean my brand new white shoes. She suggested I "finish up the job in the grassy area outside." Somehow I found this rather shabby treatment. Perhaps when the groomers make appointments, they could suggest to the dog owner that the dog be brought in on a relatively empty stomach. Nice staff otherwise.

Compared to the Two Notch store, this PetSmart is absolutely clean and friendly!! The fish aquariums were top notch CLEAN AND DEAD FISH FREE!!!! ALL of the goldfishes were beautiful and healthy looking!!! I will be coming to this location for my aquarium needs!!!!! The associate who helped me was soooo nice!!! 4got her name tho but if she sees this review she will remember who left this lol

Scheduled a grooming appointment for 8:00am Friday. Arrive and am told they dont have any record of my appointment and the groomers out sick. Now I am scrambling trying to find sonewhere to take my dogs so I can go to work. Will never go back to Petsmart.

Smaller than most petsmart Ive gone too. Its nice that customer service is friendly to play with the pets but I wanted to be in and out and the cashier took at least 3 MI its to play with my dog instead of complete my transaction.

They have good sales. Took off a star because one male employee treated me like I was crazy and made me uncomfortable. I will say, the vet is ok, but I wont be coming back for a vet appointment.

They are always out of the litter that I use. Even when they tell me that its coming on the truck the next day, it never comes. They need to do better job ordering product

The store is very clean and nice. The staff is helpful and the store isnt ever packed which is great if you want to bring your furry friend to pick out a treat.

Clean, brand new, friendly staff. The location is perfect for me. I was sad when the flood destroyed the original build but Im happy theyre open again!
