WORST. I had spent quite a bit of money powdercoating my parts at this shop and the last was a set of wheels. These folks powdercoated the center bores and mounting faces, which is a big no-no. And they do know this, because on my other parts, they carefully masked off the holes and mounting areas. When I asked them to redo this and remove the powdercoat form the faces, the boss went ballistic on me. Said he will charge me to take off the powdercoat. WTF? Why would I pay someone to correct thier mistake? He told me its my problem and I can either bring the entire bike to him so he can mount the wheels and charge me. I just wanted a set of properly coated wheels. What I got in return is a whole other job and an earful of BS. Its a huge shame really, because the guys at the shop seem to do a good job but their boss Steve is a total tool. If youre looking for someone to play you for a fool, Tricky Cycles is the place to go. If you want a good experience, go to another place.

Known these guys for years. Great prices and great work. Always walked me through step by step in completing any bike project. As for the two guys with the one star. For starts dude can barely speak English, has no clue about bikes, brought his scooter wheels in to get power coated and did not know how to clean and install them when done. If there was a problem with the power coat all he had to do was talk to the owner like a man , instead he called up crying and blaming every but him self. Next time you wanna cry about rims, make sure they are big boy wheels. And for the guy who bought tires n two weeks later they were loosing air. Its called a flat. Its people like this who give these guys a bad name because they dont know what they r doing. Keep up the good work TOCC.

I used to live right down the street from this shop. So I figured Id take my bike there to have HID low beams and HID high beams installed. After about a week and a half, the low beam stopped working. I took it back to them to have it fixed, but they told me it was my fault for taking my bike in the rain. My bike had not seen the rain, much less 100 miles since the HID kits were installed. So they charged me $25 for a replacement bulb anyways. After about 200 miles, both the low and high beams stopped working. I will now be taking my bike to a different shop to have them fix what Tricky Custom Cycles didnt install correctly.

I took my bike to get new tires. After a few weeks I noticed the tires losing air, so took it back. Dave (behind the counter guy) told me its normal and that I need to spray some soapy water on the tires to find out where the leaks are coming from. "Shouldnt they be doing that?", I told myself. So I re-explained that I just bought them with maybe 20 miles on them and he said he doesnt have the time to help me when I should be doing it myself. The customer service is just aweful. Someone needs to tell Dave, " THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT". Im never going there again!!!
