I called to inquire about having my dog, Dukes nails cut. Here is what happened: 1. First, the employee told me that I didnt need an appointment and it is a walk-in service...GREAT! 2. Next, since it was my first time getting this done with them, they needed to make sure that Duke has had his Rabies vaccination, but having the "tag" issued by the state isnt enough proof...hmmmm? OK, not really a big deal for me, Ive learned that I need to have the paperwork to prove that Duke is up to date with ALL his vaccinations readily accessible. 3. Next, I said that I have a PDF on my phone with all of Dukes current paperwork. The employee said that would be just fine...GREAT! 4. I informed her that Duke tends to bite when getting his nails cut. So, I recommended that he is muzzled. The employee informed me that they do not supply muzzles...hmmmmm? Not ANOTHER big deal, I have my own. 5. Then, I told the employee that I can walk-in with one on Duke ahead of time. The employee informed me that that doesnt work either. According to the employee, it is Petcos policy to NOT service any animals that wear/require muzzles...WTF! 6. Then, the employee tried to tell me that maybe PetSmart may allow muzzled pets to be serviced...REALLY?!?!?! Now, I understand Petcos policy to protect their employees from harm. But, what gets my goat is the fact that if I were to provide a safe option to protect their employees from harm, so that my pet can get serviced, they STILL wont allow it???!!!??? Sounds fishy, pun intended. In that case, it is now MY policy to not purchase any items from Petco AND to ensure that everyone is informed of their "enhanced" muzzle policy. :P

Not as big as some of the other Petcos Ive been to, which means smaller selections and less variety. Most other Petcos have saltwater fish, a larger selection of live animals, and a larger selection of dog and cat foods. I know this isnt the stores fault, the lot its on is rather small. My complaint comes when there arent any associates around the fish to assist me. Even when I was looking for an associate, I couldnt find one, and when I did, after about 5 minutes of looking, he told me to wait while he gets someone else. Other than that, the freshwater fish selection is usually very good, all smaller fish, though.

We always have a positive experience at this petco in andorra, especially when bringing our dog. Staff are very friendly to both human and canine customers and are always very helpful. Like others have said, sometimes it can be hard to find a staff member but I think that is because they are generally stretched pretty thin here, not necessarily the fault of the staff. They also do cat adoptions here with cats from a local shelter and although we havent adopted from here, there is always someone there to tell you all about the cats and they are always very friendly.

I past yhis store on my way home from work, so it was thought to be convenient. Today was the forth time in this store cause we just got another kitten in Jan...wanted to try better food. Blue buffalo food for kittens was my choice purchased at another store. When she ran low I stopped for more ....and to my surprise they did not have the first one, I purchased for her. Second visit had to buy another kind of Blue Buffalo, third visit today, one kind of kitten food of Blue Buffalo on the shelf. Seems like I have to purchase from the other pet store.

This place has absolutely disgusted me. I went to buy fish and an employee named Grant ignored me and went somewhere else as I called for help numerous times. I then proceeded to the cash register where I waited to be helped and received none. I left immediately. What a horrible experience I had here. If youre looking for great quality service and friendly workers do not go here!!!

This is my favorite petco and I always go here because the staff is super friendly and helpful. You never seem like youre bothering anyone if you have a question which is nice to see. They always have nice specials and carry a lot of healthier cat foods. They also take care of their fish more so than any other chain pet store Ive been too

Everytime I have come here Ive been disappointed, the selection is ok but the service is bad. Signed up for dog training, trainer was late the first week and no showed the second week...keep your receipt I got a much needed refund.
