As another small business owner on route 118,I just want to express my appreciation for the undertaking this family has done,from this small grocery store we all were happy to have (and yes,I do remember petitions going around agai st opening mountain fresh).I for one am extremely happy not to have to drive to Dallas to a bigger super market.it was a big undertaking.and to provide us with such convenience in the middle of nowhere is accepted with gratitude and now added beer and wine.and customers in our shop who come from out of town or state to cabins express their gratitude.the meat selection is amazing as are the specials,so stick up when it is on sale).i did have once or twice not 100percent,but it was a yr.ago,never complained,no place is perfect.had very gross experience with fish from a Dallas store.so give them a chance.patronize,the more people shop,the better they will do. I am happy I only drive 7 miles to get all I need.

Congrats on the new renovation! Hardware store and beer selection a convenient plus. Salad bar is great! That said the service staff needs serious customer training. Product selection must be expanded if it intends to compete with Weis Markets. I asked staff to consider stocking three items available at other stores on three different occasions with no success. Fruits are generally on the cusp of being rotten however Ive seen improvement. Hope management improves soon. The store has great potential!

Every time me or my boyfriend go to this grocery store, we love the renovations that were done to the store. However, every time we check out, the young cashiers are very rude, full of attitude and we always leave as if we are being looked down upon. Customer service at the meat & deli counter is excellent, but at the other end of the store, an -A × 10000%

I hadnt realized that they had renovated, and wow! I thought the old Mountain Fresh was a perfectly good grocery store, and now its a Very Nice grocery store, but prices still seemed reasonable. Good public bathrooms, and they now have a selection of camping gear. Last grocery store before Red Rock Mountain!

Sorry, I hate shopping here. The parking lot is too small now, the renovation part is nice, but the rest of the store does not flow well at all, they are expensive, and like other comments, lack friendly employees. Was a much better store years ago smaller and friendlier.

Mountain Fresh offers a very good variety of groceries. They dont always have everything on my list, but most everyday items are available. Also, their pricing isnt bad for a small country store. Handy for those of us who live in the back mountain area.

Ive been shopping here for years when they were much smaller. Now that theyve expanded, I really enjoy it. They have a great selection of wines and beers and they always have great sales running. Plus the deli staff are some of my favorite people

I was highly impressed with everything this store has to offer. They sell beer and wine, and have a salad bar, and fresh made food. That impressive for being in the middle of the woods. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

Loved this place. The people were friendly and the store was very clean. They were just finishing renovations, so there is no sign on building. Only suggestion would be for them to carry firewood as well.

By far this is the best grocery store without driving to a megamarket. I always enjoy thier selections and now they have expanded! My first choice personally, even before Wegmans or a larger competitor.
