Loved New Balance shoes for most of my Nursing career. When the Wexford Pa store opened I walked in hoping to purchase the reliable style I wore in the past. Unfortunately an eager sales person diagnosed that the style I wanted( now on the clearance rack) wasnt really "right" for me with my "sore feet" and history of plantar fasciitis, $230 later I had 2 pair of a new style. Currently Im experiencing the worst flair up of foot pain in my life! I limped the shoes back into the store with receipt only to be offered 10% off my purchase of the shoes I originally wanted. I spent more than that Advil. Buyer beware!!

I used to love Gordons when they were in Bloomfield. Now I no longer shop there. I am not a rich man and I am reminded of it every time I walk in. I dont mind the fact that most of the shoes they carry are out of my price range since they carry Merrell which is still affordable. No it is the way I was treated. I have tried to buy there but it just did not work out. If I wanted attitude I would shop in Shadyside. I did not expect in in Homestead. I dont believe I should walk out of a place not feeling to good about myself. Maybe they dont want my business? That is all I can figure out.

I visited some friends in Pittsburgh and forgot to pack dress shoes. I went to Gordons Shoes based upon the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed. Great selection at good prices and most importantly, very personable and knowledgeable service. Had the pleasure to meet the owner Chuck who told me about the history of the place...loved the family story.

I do have to say that Sat Oct 8.2016 was the first time I have been there and this place is the best, they are very helpful and informative and treat you beautifully, been a long time since someone helped me put shoes on !!!!!

Very good selection of shoes (at least the mens that I noticed). Staff was very helpful and friendly, prices are standard to the brand (meaning it seems they are the same that youll find online).
