Ample parking, easy on and off of Rt. 222, in Ephrata. Given its a super center, it offers groceries, in addition to the items found at most Wal Marts. Prices are what youd expect at any similar Wal Mart. This one offers a hitching post for horses and buggies, nice while in Amish country. The three-star rating isnt so much for the store (it would get two), as it is for the two employees who walked all over the store to help me track down items I ordered online, for in-store pickup. They get a solid four-star rating (averaged to three). Unfortunately, one of the items, noted as available for pickup, wasnt in stock. Other reviews note this as a continuual issue at this location. Possibly time for an inventory check? The other item, a stainless steel grill (one of four, noted as available for pickup) was (along with the other three available) unboxed, assembled, and sitting exposed outside the store -- with rain water stains, rust forming (externally and internally), and leaves and debris collecting in them. My wife and I drove 30+ minutes to get to this store, based on the online site noting they were the only store in a 50 mile radius that had the products I needed (60+ min, round trip). I left disappointed, having: purchased nothing, wasted gas and time, and placed unnecessary wear and tear on our new vehicle. The two employees were great, though... expressing sincere apologies and working to ensure the online purchases were refunded. Whoever manages this store, a) the two employees were wonderful; b) dont leave all your stainless steel grills exposed to the elements for long periods and expect to sell them at full price... or at all.

My experience has been in difficulty finding assistance in the various departments. Associates in specific departments are rarely available to help customers in locating items. Other associates may not be familiar with the department in which you need assistance. Seems like management keeps the associates too occupied in stocking items etc. than being available to assist customers. I have waited as long as 35 minutes for an associate when I needed help finding an item in a department only to find an associate that was unfamiliar with the area. It might help if management would change their marketing strategy and locate product all in one area rather than spread helter-skelter about the store. Sometimes product will be found in as many as three locations containing different model/choices in each instead of all in one location for customer ease in shopping.

I hate going to this store because there is never more than one cashier in the evening and no one helps you find things. the prices are not so great and I have found things cheaper on sale at Kmart but unless you have the add to prove it, they dont wanna hear it. one cashier told me they dont guarantee the prices are lower. I have found better quality for the prices on sales in Boscovs and Kmart. in a pinch it is handy like in the middle of the night and you forgot someone;s birthday but I wouldnt use it as a major shopping store. the meat is terrible and chicken tastes like cardboard, has more skin and fat and more bones compared to Weavers chicken thighs, with a single bone or skinless/ boneless, at the same price...2 years ago I saw a huge rat run from under the dog food isle.( honestly!)

i shop at this walmart a lot and since i dont get off of work till after 1am i sometimes shop late at night. i think it is so sad that there are employees in almost every isle and some punk teenages walk in and are stealing right in front of everyone and the employees cant say anything to them or they would be fired/repremanded. STOP CRIME! by making your employees a bunch of cowards you are costing ME money, prices go up when people steal things. thieves are not valued customers, i am. so instead of worrying about offending a thief maybe walmart should worry about making it possible for loyal customers to save money..on a side note - there is one employee who needs to watch his mouth! i could hear him a few isles down yelling profanities while he was stocking the soda isle.

Hands down worse Wal-Mart customer service ever! Very impatient, unfriendly staff. Today was a miserable experience with the photo lab (I will be using the Staples at the other side of town) Last month i needed help @ customer service, (I notice items are constantly out of stock) waited for a manager and then was told by the manager to go find someone on the floor for help. seriously? if I could then I wouldnt have waited in the long butt line to talk to you. Dont waste your time with this staff!!!! Thankful the Giant moved in next door! ...and will drive the extra 10 miles to use the Target in Lititz.

Going to this store in person is fine if you know what youre looking for. However, DO NOT CALL THIS WALMART. Pharmacy is fine. But I have now called 3 times and been on hold for 10 minutes waiting for them to pick up each time. First time they couldnt transfer me and asked me to call back. Second time they said they couldnt transfer me because I was calling from a cell phone, then they hung up on me. Third time they answered and without telling me anything put me on hold - which has now been going on for 5 more minutes. This is just absolutely pathetic. Dont waste your time.

Staff was not very helpful in finding an item. I was sent back and forth across the store twice before someone finally checked the computer to see that they were out of the item. There was no confectioners sugar available. I asked if there was any coming in and was told, "no, its the Friday before Easter. What do you expect?" (Note the Giant in the next plaza not only had plenty of confectioners sugar, but it was cheaper!) The checkout lines are always long despite fewer than half being open at any given time. This store strikes me as incredibly poorly run

They need more cashiers... three times now during the evening Im trying to check out, there are 50 customers waiting on 3 cash registers... Im literally trying to get them to take my money so I can go home but I guess their management is too incompetent to find a solution to this problem. Giving a company my money shouldnt be such a damn chore. Left my cart full of perishable groceries there today after I gave up standing in a line that wasnt moving for 20 minutes. I will pay more money elsewhere to avoid this issue. Thanks for wasting my time.
