This places smells like old seafood and bad meat. Clearly nothing is fresh here. I watched them slice meats and cheese on the same slicer, flys swarming the meats in the case, and its just a dirty environment. I went in thinking I would get two nice ribeyes to make for dinner and they were all lightly covered in plastic wrap and gray. Every steak was just old, dry, and gray with flys all over them. I had gone there once before and bought some chocolate milk in the glass containers. Youre supposed to be able to bring back the container for a discount on another milk purchase to save a buck or two. Instead they raised the rate of the milk on the second purchase so there was no discount. I ended up paying for the bottles that I returned and they get to profit on my return twice; once from overcharging me and a second time from the manufacturer for their return. I tried to call them on it and they basically said I was wrong and didnt know math... I just left and should have never come back. I suggest people stay far from here. You can get better quality food from Kennys/ Janes down the road or take the trip to Giant.

I received an email flier announcing a sale on chicken 10/23/13 BEGINNING at 10am. When I got to the store at 10am, they were sold out, because the owner told them to start selling before the time printed on the flier. I will not be going to this establishment again, since they are obviously untrustworthy, and will pull any kind of shady tricks to get people into their store.

This is by far the nicest country butcher shop Ive ever been to. Definitely worth a drive there if youre in the area.
