I placed an order Tuesday to pick up on Friday afternoon to not only drive an hour from my house in Virginia to pick it up for them to tell me its not ready and itll be two hours before a truck delivery comes. No one even took the time to even call and say hi maam your order wont be ready until 4pm or 5pm. Mind you this order was for a Graduation party on Saturday afternoon. I will never order from the again. Good luck to those of you who do. I am one pissed mom right now. I dont even want to give them one star they need no stars. I would like to add to this review that once I left the store i was called 20 minutes later and told my order had arrived and that if I still wanted it I could pick it up. So I turned around and went and got it. They apologized but I still feel like they need to work on their customer service, call your clients and keep them informed, I was put an hour behind schedule that day and annoyed by the whole experience.

Over the last 2 years I have lived in southern Maryland Chucks has continued to provide the best quality meat in the area. I am very impressed with the quality and price they offer. Here are few reasons I recommend them above everyone else. Fresh ground beef done daily ( dont ask how often grocery stores do it....) Hand cut steaks to customers request Gourmet meats such as elf and buffalo Almost always cheaper then chain grocery stores Only place in southern Maryland who process deer. On request they will vacuum pack the meat so it stays much fresher when frozen. If you dont see what you want in their store ask and they can custom order and cut almost anything. Try the BBQ!

After 32 years, Im giving up on the meat department at those chain grocery stores and making Chucks my primary meat provider! The employee Donny is very smart and helpful. The bacon is the best bacon Ive ever had in my life. And the thick cut ribeyes were so tender it was ridiculous. Cant wait to try my dry aged sirloin. Definitely coming back often!

The pork butt and packer brisket I purchased were extremely fresh, a different quality than Ive ever gotten from any chain grocery store! I will never buy meat for my smoker anywhere else! They also have elk, goat, venison, bison, etc! Wish I found this place sooner, worth my hour drive.
