I would give it a zero if I could. I took my dog to the grooming salon at 12. I already had a reservation and they told me that it would be done at approximately 4. When I got there at 3:50 to see how she is doing they didnt even start yet. She was shampooed and dryed but they didnt even have her out on the grooming table. At 4:30 she was done. And she looked so bad. They told me they started so late because they air dryed her. I was okay with that because I know that she hates drying her fur. But when I was in line to pay for the grooming I found out that there was wounds under both of her arms. There was a lot of scratches on both sides and in one side a little bit of her skin came off. I was just horrified. I started to walk back in and the lady who groomed her came out and told me that my dog got some scratches. And she told me that it was nothing. When I showed her the part where her skin was taken out she said she didnt know that. I asked her why she didnt told me right away she just said that she forgot. Just forgot that a dog she took care of for 4 hours got hurt? She said it was just an accident and it was because the dog moved a lot. And she just kept repeating that it was nothing. So I told her that we should go and see in the hospital and they filled it with some kind of surgery glue. They didnt charge me for the grooming. But if I would have just walked out my dog would be left not treated. I was so mad at her and all she said was that it was just a scratch. Never take your dog there to get groomed.

I had to take my dog and best friend into the Nyberg location, a half hour before closing. I think we were the only ones there. My dog had been having seizures for over an hour. The outcome was a brain tumor. They tried to keep him comfortable, in hopes that I could take him him to pass away. But the seizures were uncontrollable. They gave me all the time I wanted to make whatever decision I needed to make. Even though it was way past closing time. In the end the, heart breaking decision, to him down was made. The staff was great in all they did for our comfort and needs. I came to pick up his body for burial the next day. They had wrapped him up in a towel, placed him in a nice white box and a heart was drawn on the inside of the box. He looked as if he was sleeping. I got a lovely card the next week. The staff was fantastic during the worst time of my life. I have switched our other dog to his location as well. Would NOT recommand the Tigard location at all! Got horrible care there, several times.

PET SMART HOTEL. I am so pleased!!! This was our first hotel experience. The Hotel staff took such god care of my pup and I from the very beginning to the very end pick up. Everything was incredibly catered to our needs, including time in and out. During the week long stay, I called a couple times to check in, the staff were consistently sweet, respectful and took their time giving me a report about my best friend. I set up some dog camps and 1:1 play times while I was gone. Also, a beautiful hair cut (poodle) the morning before I picked him up. I absolutely love the report cards I got at pick-up. It makes me, the mom, feel wonderful. LOL Best part: Riley, 7 yr old mini poodle, was so happy and well adjusted when we got home. No cold shoulder or neediness. Wagging his tail when I mention going back and playing again. Thats awesome!! And, a bit surprising. We WILL be doing this again!

Not coming back again!!! I used to be a big customer in PerSmart (Banfield) in other town. 1. I used their boarding service once, and they did not follow up some of tentative data update. Of course, this made a big messy. We should spend 1+ hr there for immunization service. 2. The boarding service team manager could perform her work better if she treats her employees and the customers with respect and better communication skill. It is not necessary or appropriate to point the finger to the customer face, or spoke imperative sentence to her employees and customers, even if it happens at work. (I will follow up this issue with the Corporate office later) 3. The grooming service hurt my pet tail, but I found it a few days later. I dont see I can explain or make my another day with PetSmart office again. Please check out your pet after grooming service.

I just had my dog nails trimmed at the petsmart Salon on Nyberg, in Tualatin! As soon as I entered I was horrified so that I wanted to leave right away, just didnt want to be rude. The floor was FULLY covered with dog hair! All the tables were dirty, it means they cut or trim pets hair and they just leave it untill next service! If there is no next service they dont care about cleaning! Then I had my dogs nails trimmed, I thought he was fine untill we got home and he started playing in the yard with his ball, after few min my son spotted blood on the grass! All his nails that were cut supper short were bleeding! I was terrified! He was dripping blood all over me! Yes! They have no clue what they are doing! They dont even care about their own health! That was the fivrst question came to my mind: how could they work in that dirty place!

Im incredibly disappointed. My dog has never been groomed in his entire life by anyone except me. I was more worried about how hes act to them more than anything, but I shouldve been concerned out more. They didnt cut his facial hair like I asked, only shaved down his mid section. I ignored that, but then as soon as I got home I inspected my dog and found that actually cut his EAR. There is now a chunk of his ear missing that will not grow back. The groomer didnt bother to let me know and just let me walk out. By the looks of the scab, it was bleeding a lot too. Im glad he handled it well there, but Im beyond upset with this groomers work. This PetSmart groomers will never get my service again. Im as protective of my dog as if he were my son. Do not leave that place unless youve inspected your pet first. .

Took my keeshoud here to get a trim and they cut all of her hair off. They were on the phone with another customer when I arrived, telling them they screwed up on their dogs cut. The other groomers found this funny and were joking and laughing about it. When they brought my dog out they were in no way sorry for the mistake and still wanted to charge me for it. After my wife started crying the manager said we could go with no charge. Do not take your pets here, you will end up regretting it. Their groomers have no clue how to cut dogs hair to a breed standard or to a customers satisfaction, and are very unprofessional. I wish you could give negative stars because one is to nice.
