Nice repairman but not familiar with our refrigerator & did not know where to begin as he did not have a wiring diagram of our refrigerator. I pulled up a service manual as he did not have a PC. Still could not do any further testing. Called Capital back to tell them the tech did not really do anything until I pulled up a manual even then he was unable to perform any test. Gave me he best guess estimate, stated he did not want to charge me but its not up to him....The person answering phone said he needed to talk to the tech & the owner about crediting the call as he said he already charged my call. So much for using a local business. Nice service tech but unskilled in an 8-10 year old GE Profile...

This is the place to buy. They are fair, honest and will go the extra mile for a good customer. We checked a lot of other rent to own places before settling on the best deal. Rent to own is expensive no matter how you slice it, but the deal we got from Capitol City was actually a fair price as compared to the total screw job offered by the others. Please dont hesitate to do business with this company, you wont regret it ! One other thing when you go in to their store you can expect to be treated like a valued customer right off the bat, and I believe that treatment is sincere, very old school attitude in there, a nice break from the norm for this day and age.

I had an issue with my washing machine (not spinning) and after telling them what was wrong with it they tried to help me trouble shoot it. The guy was very helpful on the phone, but i was over my head. So I set up a service call, they were pretty flexible with my work schedule. The tech that came out was on time and was able to fix my washer for much cheaper then another appliance store i called. If i have any more appliance issues i plan to call them in the future. But hopefully I wont need to call them ;>)

I happened across this place after being flim flammed by another appliance center and they fixed everything that the old place messed up, did it with a smile and did it for less than the competitor did. When I need an appliance serviced, repaired or replaced, this is my first call! Thank goodness for the team at Capital City Appliance!!!

We drove around salem for a part for our washer. The major stores didnt carrying it and other service shops were already closed for the day ( 3 pm) . We walked in & they found a replacement part in minutes. $5. Is a heck of alot cheaper than a new washer, that wont last as long. Im happy.
