SEARS HAS, (OVERALL not just at the Lloyd Ctr store) THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON APPLIANCE REPAIR AND SERVICE. I have had 8 appointments now for a frig repair and still not working...on a 6 month old kenmore refrigerator. Twice they have sent the wrong part. Then got the right part but it did not fix the problem. Now got another part but repair guy has cancelled twice on coming to install it. THIS IS NOT just for the Lloyd Center store, but for SEARS APPLIANCES AND SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR, AND WARRANTY SERVICE NATIONWIDE. IT IS HORRENDOUS!! Also, they only have Mon.-Fri. 8am-5pm repair appointments, so IF you work those hours, like millions of us do, you will have to take time off work to be home for 4 hours for the appointment. And then the guy will get there at 10 minutes to noon for his 8-12 noon appt time, and not get done until 1:00 or later, so you have to stay home 5 hrs or more to get a repair done. Then plan on doing that 3-4 times before you get the repair done right. GETS PRETTY DAMN EXPENSIVE WHEN YOU HAVE TO MISS 3-4 HALF-DAYS OF WORK TO GET A REPAIR DONE. So if you THINK you are getting a good deal with Sears, or with their extended warranty, YOU ARE WRONG----it will be much cheaper in the long run to buy a used appliance and pay an independent guy to repair it right the first time if it goes bad, than to deal with wrong diagnosis and spend all the time off work that Sears makes you take to get a repair done. and if you try to get a priority appointment because youve been thru so much already it WONT BE DONE----I TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES. YOU ARE AT THE BACK OF THE LINE EACH TIME YOU MAKE A NEW APPT. IT IS ABSOLUTLEY INCREDIBLE THAT THEY STILL EVEN SELL APPLIANCES, AS THEY ARE WORTHLESS FOR SERVICING THEM. THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW, AND MY NAME IS DARREL MILLER, AND IM NOT AFRAID TO POST IT PUBLICLY.

I hate Sears. After shopping there for almost 50 years I too will never shop there again. They do not even have the technology to look up sales by credit card purchase. Like all of their competitors, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Macys, Nordstroms, KMart, etc. etc. etc.... Management considers Sears a seasonal store meaning everything in the store is limited to a 30 day return policy no exchanges for another size of a basic item they have in stock. No returns if it falls apart, no standing behind what they sell. The store manager told me there was nothing she could do-handed me their customer service number. After being on hold for 20 minutes I did not even get an apology or a thank you for all your years of business-then the supervisor hung up on me. I WAS going to exchange the t shirts, large for XL, because sears has changed the cut of these shirts...and then go shop for appliances for my new apartment building. So a big sales loss for them... but again no one really seems to give a rip about a customer anymore and it really seems they are actively trying to go out of business.

During the holidays my husband and I visited the jewelry dept. at Sears. I dropped my wallet and some of its contents. Valerie at the jewelry counter found the cards I dropped, one being my auto insurance card. The insurance carriers address was not on the card, so she had to do some investigating. She mailed my cards to my insurance company who in tern mailed them to me. What a nice surprise to get my cards back. I really appreciate that Valerie was kind and understood that the cards were of value to me. I do remember her being very conscientious of the customers at her counter. Thank you Sears for hiring people like Valerie. And thank you Valerie for your kindness and for going above and beyond. Joanne

I bought one of their vacuums less than a year ago and the hassle they gave me was unbelievable. I was told they would put it together for me and I would just need to pick it up. That ended in hours of back and forth with no employee having any idea on how to help. I called today for service on that vacuum which is still under warranty and was told to go to an outside vacuum repair shop if I really wanted it fixed by a professional. The sears representative basically told me that they dont really service their own merchandise.

Sears Delivery: We purchased a new big heavy Kenmore side to side door bottom mount refrigerator at this Sears store. The delivery men did not even bother to put down pads or cloth runners to protect our beautiful oak hard wood floor. They just dragged it across the bare floor, leaving a 10 foot long scrape across the floor!, duh! They were in a big hurry and could not bother to be careful and protective! I was told that they have protective pads and cloths on their truck, but they just didnt give a s##t. Never again!

the worst store ever! Every time I leave this store I am angry and upset. This time I had to Google Sears customer service number, and call their 1800 number, while standing in the store to get someone to come to the mattress department and help me. No help, and no apologies, I even got an eye roll from the young girls working in the clothing department because they didnt know what a propane tank was, and therefor insisted that they didnt sell them at Sears. Booo shame on you, Sears!

I bought a washer and dryer from this location, and the service rep was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If youre in the market for a home appliance, I recommend stopping by and speaking with Ryan Platt. His knowledge extends beyond washers and dryers, and he comes across as an honest, straightforward person. I deducted one star because, as everyone knows, the store is somewhat of an eyesore.

Very poor service for appliance repair. Dont ever use them!! Awful phone experience. Long waits. Multiple transfers. Nobody communicates with each other. Two service calls to repair a washer. Washer still does not work and we are down $230. Sears offers to send out yet a 3rd technician but why should I have any faith that the third will fix it? Not worth my time!

Ghost town. No shoppers. No staff. Piles of merchandise from what appears to be the eighties. Prices are no longer a reason to draw me here regularly. Im old enough that its sad to see the decades long decline of a once great chain, and once top of my list holiday shopping locations. Im not sure why they open their doors these days. Sad.

I worked here about over a year ago now and, after 3-months of working there, I left. From the beginning of my first day of work, no one trained me the whole time I was there. I barely even knew how to work the register and anytime I would start work I had no idea what I was suppose to do. Terrible place to work.

I tried to call them to see if they had what I wanted in stock and was immediately put on hold. For a long, long time. Then I hung up, because in that amount of time I could have gone from my house to Lloyd Center and back, which I guess is what Ill do after all.
