Attending the Corvallis Kmart is the first time that I felt truly welcomed and have been treated as a guest while visiting a Kmart. The employees are very helpful. They check-in with you to make sure things are going alright, if you need to find anything and if they could help make your trip as seamless as possible. Im usually able to sped up my shopping and get the most affordable items, as theyll give you suggestions and be sure to show you various options to meet your particular need. I have never been to a Kmart where the attendants stand at the front of the checkouts, ready to assist the next customer. There are hardly any lines, even when busy. I was so impressed that I became a member. The products are affordable and of good quality. I would even say better than Wal-Mart and Target, who are their closest competitors. I will definitely be getting my shopping needs met at Kmart. I hope where I go next after finishing school in Corvallis that other Kmarts would be of the same caliber. Theyre outstanding here!

This was one of the worst holiday shopping experiences first off there was an employee loudly and rudely telling another co-worker how the jewelry department ran out of receipt paper then yelled over customers to another employee to talk about the receipt paper. Right in front of the front check out area. Our cashier had no idea how to work her register and we were there for an extra 10 minutes so she could figure it out. Then while walking out of our registers line I scratched my hip on something blunt hanging from the plastic bag Holder and stopped to look at it an employee looked right at me and didnt say one word. I had to stop again right in front of the doors again because it hurt so bad. At least 3 employees saw this and no one said anything. Was not a great experience. Will not shop here if I dont have to!

The staff is really nice, however this shop is a mess. I went there several time to buy kids clothes/shoes. However most of the time some of the sizes are missing (and there is no stock). In addition, do not try to look online if a product is available, it is usually wrong you will come to get something that is absent in the shop (then the staff will explain you that the website has not been updated). Now there are some good sides to this shop, you can find things that are not mentioned online. Prices can also be funny you will get a discount on a product that was not to be written to be on discount (but who complains). More importantly it is not overcrowded. It is also the only place to get urgent missing kids apparel at a correct price without driving to Albany.

I shop here often because they tend to have decent prices and a wide range of things. Went in today to look for dog food and had some guy in all black follow me around. Figured it was loss prevention. Didnt appreciate it obviously, not to mention I dont know how Id smuggle out a huge bag of dog food.(clown pockets maybe?) Spoke with the manager and let her know about him and she claimed there was no one that worked there fitting that description, but she wasnt exactly convincing. I let her know that if it was loss prevention, they should make sure hes not so obvious with being 67 and wearing a black beanie on a sunny day.

I love the staff that greet you at checkout and throughout the store. If you need assistance theyre more than happy to help, the Shop Your Way program is a huge PLUS. It is a great program to enroll in because it helps you save money, not only that but the Smart Plans is another great program that helps protect yourself as well as customers from manufactured damage after the 30 day period where you can return the item that was purchased and get your money back to purchase something else. The clothes are fabulous and the deals are great! So I totally recommend going here, it is the best location Ive been to!

Very disappointed. I have been a long time customer of Kmart, and even drive from Albany to go to the Corvallis store. Today they have lost my business. My son received a toy for his birthday that is for kids much older then him. It has the Kmart name and price tag on it. I was informed that Kmart will only return items with the original receipt and card the item was purchased on. Most people dont give receipts with gifts they give. Kmart no longer does in store credit. So, I am stuck with a toy that my son cant play with.

The nicest Kmart Ive been in for a long time. Pride of place shows and all employees have been polite friendly and helpful. Kmart carries some good brands such as Joe Boxer and Cannon bed and bath. Good prices and great deals especially with "Shop your way" rewards. If all Kmarts were like this one, the company wouldnt be on the brink of bankruptcy.

Selection of season appropriate clothing is perfect. Larger sizes are well stocked. A bit iffy for gardening supplies and a bit expensive for decor, but basic items for households are spot on. I have never had a problem returning or exchanging items. Transactions are good and staff is usually polite if I am.

I am on a very tight budget for school supplies. I was very disappointed with their selection and prices. I got few things for my kids and left out frustration becease I already knew I was getting close to my limit and still needed to get most of what was on the list.

The place looks like theyre ready to go out of business at a moments notice and the employees act like theyre ready to leave anytime. I ran in to get a gift card one time and the whole ordeal took over 30 minutes of just standing in line.

The ones only 20 miles away in Salem and Albany are okay, but often a mess. This store is very well managed, ranking among the best in Oregon. Very clean, well-stocked, good selection, etc.

Cashiers are friendly if you can get them talking. The store layout hasnt changed much in 20 years(neither have the fixtures!). Still a good source for kids toys and board games!
