I had a new screen and hard-drive installed by Unitech, along with a memory upgrade to the RAM in my three year old laptop. My computer now works better than new and at a fraction of the cost of a replacement it. Mousa, the manager of Uni-tech was very knowledgeable and patient when I initially called to inquire about fixing my computer and upgrading it -- before he even knew if I would be spending any money with them. After I brought my laptop into the shop, Mousa detailed the work to be done and the costs before beginning. After completing it (on time) he was very helpful showing me the results of the repairs and took the time to answer all my questions. Mousa also showed how to save some money with certain freeware programs that could replace some of the programs that until now I had been paying a subscription fee to use. I cant say enough positive things about Uni-tech and would recommend them to anyone needing computer service.

My CPU fan had died on my Compaq Presario C700 as well as a couple keys on the keyboard. I called around and most places wanted a small fortune just to open the laptop. I called a local PC repair place that had great reviews and, because he didnt do laptops, he referred me to Mousa at Unitech. Not only was the estimate the most reasonable that I had been given, but he also said that the fan might not need replacing - it may just be "stuck." He also wouldnt charge me for labor on the keyboard since hed be in there anyway. It turned out that the fan had bent somehow and instead of replacing it - which he could have done and I never would have known any different - he simply straighted it out. My laptop was done in two days and was as good as new for only $83. Hopefully Ill never need another repair done on my laptop - but if I do, I wont go anywhere but to Unitech.

Cracked the Retina display of my 2014 13.3" Macbook Pro. No warranty, and was skeptical to take it to the apple store because I knew they will over charge. Called about 5 different laptop repair companies in Portland and their qoute were sky high. Unitech provided me the best price for the part (which was the entire display screen assembly), which was delivered in 2 days, along with the lowest labor cost. I saved over $140 as compared to other quotes. Mousa is an amazing guy and knows what he is doing. Would definitely never want myself to have laptop issues and visit them again lol, but would HIGHLY recommend

I needed to replace the fan on my laptop, after calling few places, half of them wouldnt even give me a quote or told me it would take at least a week to do it. Unitech guys told me exactly how much it would cost as soon as I told them my laptop model, part number and what needs to be done (50-60% less than few other places). They ordered new fan for me without asking me to prepay for it. Two days later when they got the fan I dropped my laptop off in the evening and it was ready the very next morning. Thanks a lot. It was the best (and cheapest) experience in fixing laptops.

From one repair shop to another. I should have done this review 2 1/2 years ago when I first met Mousa. I am the owner of a small computer repair company. There have been occasions that I have needed to sub work out and from the first time I walked into UniTech I have been nothing but impressed. I have never had to question the quality of his work, his integrity, or honesty. I have also purchased quite a few laptop power supplies from him and they are high quality at a great price. I brought my laptop in to UniTech because the hinge broke. I use this computer for school, work and play, so closing it is a MUST HAVE. Though my computer is now about 5 years old, this computer is still VERY important to me because of what I have on it. Mousa helped me figure out what was broken, and (by request) the cheapest way to fix it. His final price was awesome, the end result was exactly what I needed. Ive been bringing my familys Apple laptops and desktops to Unitech over the last six years, most recently this week. Mousa, the owner, is not only knowedgleable, efficient ,and fast, but he is also one of the most honest people Ive ever dealt with. On more than one ocasssion Ive heard him tell customers: "I could fix this for you, but youd be better off buyng a new laptop." Ask yourself: how many techncians or mechanics would give you such honest advice? He fixes things right the first time and his prices are more than fair.

I had the DC jack in my Gateway laptop break loose. I brought it to Unitech and after talking to Mousa about the issue, I felt like it was in good hands. He made sure to explain what the possible setbacks would be and the possible costs associated with them so I wouldnt be surprised. For my computer, it was the best case scenario and the price was less than I anticipated. It came back cleaner than I left it and a day and a half before I expected. I wont hesitate to go back!

I came in with two problems, a melted DC jack, and a non-responsive audio jack. Both of my problems were repaired in a little over 48 hours. While I originally thought the estimate cost was high, in the end I have no doubts it was worth it, as he not only had the parts in stock already, but Mousa fixed it cleanly, quickly, and very professionally. Fantastic customer relations, parts on hand, and a wicked clean laptop - I would absolutely recommend this business.

I took my Sony Vaio laptop in to get the broken LCD monitor repaired on a Friday. Was told it would be ready the following Tuesday. Well, he called me on Monday to tell me it was ready now. Excellent service, fair and honest quote in writing. I got another verbal quote from a different repair shop that charged $250 just for the labor. The total price for repair at Unitech was $160! I will definitely be a repeat customer, I cannot recommend Unitech enough!

Found this place on craigslist, but only came b/c the online reviews were good. I have to say, it was a great experience coming here. He quickly diagnosed my laptops problem, and fixed it for an amazingly low price. He was friendly, honest, and took the time to teach me a few tricks on how to fix it myself in the future. I would come back to him in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

I called Unitech about a price on a Apple screen replacement and to my amazement the cost was much less then anyone else. I was a little skeptical about taking it their due to the price being so low but since Im now unemployed I felt it was worth a try. I got my computer back the next day and it worked like a charmeven less than he quoted. Thank You Thank You Unitech.
