I went to I5 Computers because my daughter said her computer was fixed there and although she had to take it back (the problem was not fixed the first time), the second time her computer was fixed. My son said he had a less than desired experience with this company. I thought maybe his experience could have just been a fluke. After waiting more than a month for a return call to see if the correct motherboard could be found, I took my computer back to the shop. I left my computer and was told it would be ready in three days. My computer has been at I5 computers since November 4th and it is December 8th. I cant think of a time when my calls have been returned. All calls that have been made have been on my part. I heard today that another part broke and should be in on December 11th, and my current pick up date should be at the end of the week. These people are very personable and treat you great at door and generally have a kind/helpful demeanor on the phone. Todays call did not go as well as it should have. It was suggested that I bought a referbished computer or got if from someone else that there were other problems when I bought it. In essence, I feel like I was called a liar. I bought this computer brand new and waited up all night to purchase it on Black Friday. I have dealt with the waiting and reasons as to why it has taken so long, but to be accused of misrepresenting the fact that my computer is new crosses a line that even I wont tolerate. I have felt at times that the reasons given to me were in fact fabrications of the truth (the motherboard blew, had to order another one; we missplaced the cooling fan; there were broken wires we were unaware of, etc.). I kept my demeanor polite and professional. Having this company tell me I am the one not being honest (when I am) hurts. I am happy for all of you who have rated this company excellent. I certainly CANNOT.

I had called a couple of other computer places and even stopped in and I just hated their customer service and how they answered my questions. I had a problem with my computer so being I had done business with I 5 computers Inc. before and they had done such a great job 2 years ago I thought I would go back again. Wow!! Im so glad I did.... These guys are great and know what theyre doing. They asked questions and listened to me and want to fix the problem and they do it in such a professional way and their prices are really reasonable. Other places just wanted me to leave my computer there and they would call me and let me know whats going on with it and then we can discuss what needs to be done, NOT at I 5 computers they took the time and checked it out while I was there and made me feel like I was their only customer and I was IMPORTANT. I took in my computer on Thursday and got it back on Friday. They replaced my power supply added a video card, tuned it up and added e-set a firewall that I really love. Darren was the only one that seemed to figure out that I had a really bad virus and he introduced me to eset 2 years ago and I got it put back into my computer again this last visit. My computer is faster and ready to go. I dont have a lap top but if I did I would have eset on as my firewall they offer so much protection and safe guards for ones computer. Im so glad that Darren talked me into it when I first went in to get my computer fixed. Would I recommend this company to my friends, family.... in a heart beat. If you want quality work and good customer service they are the one to go to.

I had an issue with my hard drive on my laptop recently, and had tried to do some diagnostics myself, but ended up stripping two screws holding the bracket into the hard drive. Now I had thought that it had just gone out and that was that, but since I had no experince in removing stripped screws I decided to get professional help and I am so glad I did. Within no time I5 Computers Inc. Had gotten the stripped screws out, and let me know they might be able to revive the hard drive I had thought I lost. Considering I had spent hours working on it and trying everything I knew from growing up around fixing, building, and repairing computers I was certain it could not be done, but if they wanted to try it why not right? It was either pay them or buy a new drive, and frankly they were the cheaper option. I am estatic to say that they were able to help me out, get my laptop back into working order again, all without charging me an arm and a leg, and for me thats the best part. Long story short. Great service, Got what I needed and paid attention to what I had to say, definitly took me by surprise. My first ever experince in a repair shop, and am glad I went to them. Oh, and the price was so much better then what I had imagined. Recommend giving them a call to see if they can help you with your problem.

I went to 3 different so called computer repair shops in Vancouver with my problem and they all said the same thing, I need a new motherboard. I got quotse from $300 to $450 to fix. So, I took it to I5 Computers and, I have to say, these guys here know there stuff. I brought in my computer because the screen would not come on when I powered it up. they told me that it was the GPU (graphics processing unit chip), they sau it has become unsoldered from the board, that was the problem. They said they will try to fix it and there would be no charge if they could not. Well, needless to say, I received a call from them 2 hrs later telling me it was all fixed and gave me a 90 day warranty. No other shop can do what these guys can do. Thats why they are so highly rated. I recomend them to all of you who read this post. They even offer a 10% discount if you bring in a written estimate from any other shop. noone else offers that. I can tell these guys ar not your typical IT professionals. They care deeply that your problem is fixed and will spend time helping you understand any questions you may have. they do not try to push you out the door. They are real down to earth people. Go there, you wont be sorry.

When i first approached this computer repair shop i was attracted to it because of thier perfect reviews. I brought my laptop in for a power jack replacement and they popped a piece of my motherboard off. They gave me two options, get a new motherboard, or take it back unchargable, for free. I got the new motherboard and had it pt in for $159 only for them to find out the motherboard didnt have sound. They ordered a new one and had it put in on 7/20, after it has been in thier shop for close to a month. I was oerall exausted with the problems that kept on popping up, so i went in the shop exited to see the laptop again, only to find out they put the wrong keyboard in and that it has a gold post in between the g and h keys. I thought it was funny that they had an identicle laptop in the back with a perfect keyboard, so i had them put that one in. After that problem was fixed they couldnt find the universal AC power adapter that came with it. They fixed this by giving me one of thiers. I am writing this review because people need to know that places like this are not, and are by far, perfect. Well at least my computer charges now...
