I am (was) a regular shopper of about once a week at their Mississippi location. I am also in sales so poor service really stands out to me. The last time I went in there I really felt like I was treated like an untrustworthy person. I mean, Im sorry my thrift-store rain jacket doesnt look like the latest in fashion and I dont doubt that that probably stands out on such a hip strip as Mississippi but at least its clean and tear free. Should it even matter? So I feel its bad enough that you have to ask to get into the case but this is a necessity I understand. Then they ask you if you want the top or bottom. Well the stupidity behind that is that it forces you to make a quick decision and limits their sales to half. But then he takes it a step further for the first time ever and says "do you want to just grab the one you want for me?". I mean, I want to browse. I have to read the cases to make a decision but this guy doesnt trust me that far. Part of it too is I know he must recognize me at this point. If I saw him on the street I would recognize him. I dont know, maybe Im being finicky but I really felt untrusted and I just looked at one game and it wasnt what I was looking for and just put it back and walked out probably for the last time.

A Private User

The trade-in value on games is excellent. Were talking 30% better than Game Spot or Game Crazy or any of those big franchises. Their selection is limited, but that is also a good thing. They usually carry most of the new releases (and can order in what is not there). Where they really shine is in their selection of used PC games. You can buy most of the great titles for under $10. Their Playstation 3 selection is better than most of the corporate stores and usually better-priced. If you want legacy games, they have an unprecedented selection of PS2, Xbox and GameCube games. Its mind-blowing how great this place is.

Excellent staff. If they dont have what youre looking for theyll put it on a list they check the inventory of all their stores weekly and when it becomes available they hold it for you and let you know its there. Even if it takes months they keep looking until either they find it or you cancel your request. Cant say enough good things about this establishment

If youre coming here, you will probably be more interested in the music (ultra cheap LPs!) and movies (Laser discs!) than in their game selections; while they had things I dont tend to see at other game stores, the prices seemed a little on the high side for more common titles.

I loved this place! It has a nice vinyl selection, a bunch of games and DVDs! I found some animé Ive been looking for for a while. The ginger guy behind the counter was nice and very helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

Always helpful people, good prices, easy return policy. The multiple locations make it easy to track down most games and systems. If CD game exchange is to gamestop as Fallout New Vegas was to Fallout 3.

I love this Place! I came to visit Portland form California and when I saw this place I wasnt expecting much, but it delivered and brought in a feww extra fortune cookies if u know what I mean.

you can consistently buy physical copies of AAA games here for Xbox One and PS4 for less than they cost online. They also have a great collection of retro media like N64, DreamCast, and Blu-Ray

You can buy a movie, take it home, watch it, and return it within the same week for $2. Better selection than redbox and they have 3d blu rays.
