Run, do not walk, to the nearest exit. I only gave him one star because that was the only choice that came close for this cluster. THIS IS A MINUS 5 STAR REVIEW. I called on a Friday morning for a dryer heating element problem and was thrilled that Ron could fit me into his schedule that afternoon. I waited all afternoon and at 1730, he called and asked if I was the lady that needed her dryer serviced. He said he had lost my contact info....really? Then how did you know my number? He said he could still come out, but we decided that Saturday morning would work better. He showed up and fiddled around measuring temps, etc. and then told me it was my dryer heating element that needed replaced. Really? I already told him that when I made the appointment. I also told him the make and model of the dryer so he could come prepared. Im not stupid. Ron said he didnt have the part with him and needed to get one and would call me Monday to set up an appointment. Tuesday afternoon I have a voice mail (Im at work) that he came to my house and I wasnt there.... what happened to setting up an appointment, Ron? I called him back and we agreed on a time on Friday between 0900 and 1100. Plenty of time to be prepared, right? I just got a call at 0930 on Friday morning and he wanted to set up an appointment for Friday afternoon. I told him he said he would be here between 0900 and 1100. Well, he is calling from across town servicing someone else and cant be here. Well, guess what, I have plans for this afternoon and I cant be here then. I cancelled the appliance repair with him and told him Id find someone else to do the service. This is not a good way to run a business in a small community.

Well, I have a different experience than other reviewers. My newer refrigerator wouldnt maintain the internal temperature and so when I called this place for service I was pleased a repairman (the owner as it turns out) could show up promptly. He fiddled about a bit and couldnt really pinpoint the problem with my input, so I called my husband because he had a better idea of what was failing. The repairman spoke with him and told my husband he planned on pulling the main control board and replacing it. My husband asked if the guy had run the diagnostics on the board yet. Thats it. A simple question. Old dude went postal. Seriously. Started ranting how he doesnt need anyone to tell him how to do his job and said shouted "Find someone else!" and stomped off. It was really quite incredible to watch. Old dude has some speed on him! My husband and I talked it over and we figured the guy probably didnt know how to run the diagnostics, which is why he was skipping that fairly common/reasonable step. Of course that would up my costs considerably since maybe the uber-expensive board wasnt the problem, but hey, it saves him the embarrassment of admitting he doesnt know how to work with the newer refrigerators... Conclusion: Avoid this "business"!

We lost our refrigerator one evening to our kids who had left it with us and now needed it in a hurry. This gave us just a few days to come up with a replacement. We consider ourselves most fortunate to have been given Paul Hebert’s number for his Appliance Solutions store in Oregon City by an experienced appliance professional who spoke highly of Paul’s years of experience with appliances of all makes. Paul not only had exactly what we needed in stock at a very reasonable price, but managed to get it delivered and set up before the end of the next day. He went far beyond what one expects from a delivery in that when it was discovered we would need to remove the refrigerator doors to get it into our kitchen Paul extended his work day by well over an hour without complaint or request for extra remuneration. The speed and ease with which he dissembled and reassembled all the parts spoke well of his expertise. This used refrigerator is hard to tell from a new one and runs without any problems. We will continue to go to Herbert’s Appliance Solutions for appliances and certainly recommend Paul to others. John and Susan LO

Our range died and we needed to replace it. Unfortunately, it was too old to get replacement parts for. Doubly unfortunate was that it was a down draft stove, and unless we wanted to serious remodel to vent the stove we needed to replace it with another down draft model. The only option for that is an extremely expensive Jen Air model. Paul Heberts had a used one that he was in the process of reconditioning, and we bought it. Paul did an amazing job! The range is beautiful, he did a great job installing it, and the price was significantly less than a new one would have been. Paul even came up with both used and new custom pieces so that we could have multiple configurations for the stove top, still paying significantly less in total than a new range. (With a 6 month warranty) Highly Recommended!

Great Experience!!! I called several places on a Saturday wanting to fix my washer on my day off.. little did I know almost all appliance parts stores are closed on weekends and every open shop I called didnt have my part, a simple GE front load washer door seal / gasket. So... About to give up and call in sears I called Herberts. They were open! Had my part, and charged me $40.00 less than standard TV and appliance, who.. oh yes, they also didnt have the part on hand.. the customer service was awesome with free advice on what to watch out for while doing the installation.. I hope it wont be soon, but whenever I need more appliance parts Herberts is definitely first on my list!!! I will definitely recommend this store to anyone who is need of appliance parts! Thanks Herberts!!

I am the Practice Manager for a near by Animal Hospital. Recently I have used the services of Heberts Appliance for a re-furbished Washing machine and to repair the seal on an older fridge. They were wonderfully helpful and accommodating to our business. The washing machine was replaced quickly with little interruption to our work flow which we certainly appreciated and Its working great for us. Later when I was having problems with a seal on our fridge, even after replacing the seal, he came over ,did some trouble shooting and was able to resolve the temperamental door quickly and easily. Paul has always been helpful and informative.

I would highly recommend doing business with Heberts Appliance Solutions. I bought a used dryer from Paul. He came out and installed it. It was immaculately clean. He was very careful bringing it in and taking the old one out. So when I needed a dishwasher I called Paul. He came out and installed it. I had a problem with it and he came back out. The problem was that I did not have my hot water heater turned up high enough. Paul even helped me turn up the temperature of the water heater, which solved the problem. He is meticulous and fair and pleasant. 5 stars!!!!
