Before you judge this place by all of the negative reviews, Id suggest you actually READ through all of the bad ones first; theyre comical. Multiple people annoyed that a bike they wanted was sold. FYI selling bikes is part of what they do, why were you so surprised? Each time Ive been here, Ive called to check to make sure the bike is available before I drive out to buy it, but hey, thats just me. One lady annoyed that they wouldnt make small-talk with her...theyre there to sell you a motorcycle, service your motorcycle, or get you parts/accessories for your motorcycle, not chit-chat. Another guy annoyed that they wouldnt take him up on his offer for half the asking price. Cmon people... Anyways, let me tell you about my experience. Well actually, this was my second time coming here (bought my first bike here last year). I had my eyes set on a new KTM Duke. I called multiple dealers to get quotes on the bike, and the only place that could quote close to what Motosport Hillsboro was quoting, gave me a crap-tastic trade-in offer on my current bike...like $600+ below KBB trade-in value even though the bike was in great condition and had low miles. Matt and MJ offered me $300 under KBB clean-RETAIL value, which was totally worth being able to avoid the headache of selling a bike on CraigsList. I really need to stress how awesome Matt and MJ are. They were absolutely great. Not only were they able to offer me a great price for my old bike, they got me into the exact bike I wanted for a great price. Side note: Im in grad-school right now and currently receive a stipend, and even though I dont technically have an "income," Matt was able to get me an EXTREMELY reasonable monthly payment plan at < 6.5% APR. They also allowed me to transfer a 3-year, 2-full-services/year, unlimited oil change plan to my new bike AND got me a 7-year warranty on the bike for less than $1000. Ill repeat that again, a 7-year warranty for less than $1000...most car companies dont even offer a 5-year warranty! Also, the service department is pretty great. I dont want to drive out everytime I need to get minor services done, so they offered to teach me what I want to know and print out factory service manuals for me the next time I bring my bike in for service (which is COMPLETELY covered under my 3-year service plan). Bottom line, if you want to get a great deal on a great bike, call MJ to make sure the bike is available and then work with him and Matt to get you out the door with it! If youre looking to make friends or just shoot the breeze with someone (not that these guys arent friendly), Id suggest you hit up your local bar or something...

I recently decided to purchase a street bike after renting a Harley Nightster in Hawaii for a week. I wanted to look at some other options such as Hondas and Kawasakis who make similar motorcycles at a fraction of the price, before checking out Paradise Harley and couple of other ones from craigslist. I went over to this place at my lunch hour last Thursday and was greeted by a fairly junior salesperson whom I actually liked. He showed me a couple of brand new and used bikes on their covered parking lot area and we pulled out a 1-2 year old Honda Shadow which I really liked. It was a littel sprinkly outside but mainly just overcast and dry. He asked if I wanted to take it for a spin and I said sure. He asked me to get a copy of my insurance and my licence with the endorsement so I went to my car and got both. When I walked into the store there was no one at the counter for a couple of minutes and then this other sales guy walked up and his first words to me were: "do you have any riding experience?" I responded, yes, Ive owned a dual purpose bike for a few years and have rented Harleys on a few occasions. His next question was " Howre you gonna pay for this bike?" I was a little surprised at his body language and defintely didnt understand his approach or his question. I responded that I was in the process of doing some research and didnt understand why we should be talking about financing when I havent even ridden the bike. He shook his head and said that it was raining outside ( which it really wasnt) and wasnt sure about test rides. Then another manager walked up with an intimidating look and said that their insurance policy didnt cover test rides in the rain. At that point, I basically said thank you and walked out. Make a long story short, between then and now, a couple of days later, I purchased a 2009 Harley Dyna Fat Bob FXDF from Paradise Harley. I loved the sales person at Paradise Harely and it was a very fun and professional environment there during the whole process. I will never recommend this place in Hillsoboro or think about walking into this place again. This place is right next to my work ( a very little known hi-tech company in Hillsboro -:) ) and it would have been nice to walk in and check out riding gear and accessories, but that will never happen. I had a perfect experience at Paradise Harley and they couldnt wait to get me on their bikes, even brand new ones. No problems with test rides whatsoever, they were pushing them as hard as they could. I dont normally write reviews but felt somewhat different about this place and wanted to share my experience.

These guys were great! Matt helped me buy my first motorcycle. He even loaned me a trailer to get it home. I felt that I got a fair deal from them. Only four stars because I could have used a little more advice with helmet sizes. They were busy so I cant fault them too much for it. Update: After 12 miles on a sunny Saturday a week later the motorcycle they sold me was leaking gasoline like a sieve. The fuel shut off was not working, and the part of the fuel tank pet cock that requires vacuum from the carburetor was not functioning correctly. I pulled the carb and found that someone had JB welded the fuel tube that goes between the twin carburetors and it looked fairly fresh. The JB weld compound was cracked and fuel was leaking out of it. The carburator is unrepairable due to the JB weld. I had asked if there was anything wrong with the bike and Matt had said no. I feel really ripped off and a little concerned that they would sell a bike in such an unsafe condition. Caveat Emptor! Update: On Wednesday, March 14th, Matt (AKA MJ) Called me at my place of work. He had seen this review and asked me about the carburetor. I confirmed that the carb was leaking large quantities of gas. He said that he wanted to make it right and then he rattled off a slew of possible remedies. He said that he would talk to his manager and then call me back after lunch. That was 5 days ago. Update: On Thursday, April 5th, Matt (AKA MJ) finally called me back. I asked him why he didnt call me back when he said he would. At first he said he thought I was going to call him back. When I corrected him, he said that he did call back and left four or five voice mails. When I doubted that, he insinuated that the person that answers the phones at my place of work actually took the messages and that I was not receiving the messages. None of this was true. I asked him why he called and he said that he wanted to make up for the bad carburetor. I told him that I had already replaced the carburetor with one from ebay. I did end up agreeing to some sort of 28 point safety inspection. The next day it was still bothering me that MJ would imply that someone at my work was not doing their job. I called him back and asked again about why he did not call me back when he originally said. This time he said he did try calling back five times, but that he had the wrong number. I told him that I thought he was a liar and cancelled the 28 point safety inspection. I simply cannot trust a safety inspection backed by a liar.
