[TL/DR] Very bad customer service. They dont accept returns, only exchanges. Even when theyve failed to call you on the day they said they would (or for the next 3 days after) so that you could put in your order for a replacement item. Even if the merchandise youre trying to return is unused. Ridiculous. The whole story: I got a helmet for someones son for Christmas. It was a size too small so I went in on a Saturday to try and exchange it. They didnt have the size and color combo that the boy wanted and instead of letting me choose a new helmet from a catalog in the store on that day, they took my name and number and promised theyd call me back by Tuesday with my options so I could place an order for a replacement helmet. I reiterated a few times that I really needed the replacement by Friday and they assured me that if they placed an order on Tuesday that it would arrive by Friday, no problem. Tuesday came and went. Wednesday came and went. Thursday came and went. No call. At his time, I didnt know that Gran Prix wasnt going to let me get a refund; I assumed I would be able to get my money back from them and just get a helmet from elsewhere. On my way home Thursday, I stopped in at the other moto gear shop in Albany, Mr. Eds Moto. They didnt have a helmet in stock either but I was able to place my order for one on Thursday morning and they assured me it would be at their shop the next day in the early afternoon. Sure enough, it had arrived on Friday and I finally got the helmet that the boy wanted. Problem solved. Or so I thought. I went back to Gran Prix to return the original helmet only to find out that their policy is that they only exchange items, they never offer refunds. I tried to explain to them that I already tried to get them to exchange the item and they failed to follow through on their end to call me so I could place an order, but all they did was apologize for the inconvenience and offered to exchange the helmet for other gear of equal value. But the boy doesnt need any more gear, and even if/when he does, Im certainly never going back to Gran Prix to get it. You dont offer refunds, okay, but when you fail to follow up with me when you said you would so that I could get the helmet when I needed it, then still deny me a refund is just absurd. Hopefully people will reconsider giving Gran Prix their business and head over to Mr. Eds Moto where their word is good.

Recently dropped off two dual sports. One for a an engine re-build and one for carb rebuild/rejet. The guys at the shop are fantastic. They called me with updates and authorizations for parts/mods and details every step of the way. I always knew the status of my bikes and how much my repairs and upgrades were costing me. No surprises when I went to pick them up. Bikes are performing fantastically. Gran Prix is definitely my new go to for services that are beyond my own skill set.

These guys go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Not being very knowledgeable about all the engines of my own I work on, they are always there to help. More then willing to assist in finding parts for bikes engines not even sold within the last decade. Can not imagine what I would do without them. 1958 Messerschmitt roadster and 1958 British Berkeley roadster both running motorcycle type running gear. Randall Kaaz, Albany, Oregon

I have been dealing with Grand Prix for many years. They have been super helpful with everything from bike sales to gear suggestions, and my parts needs. I have always felt like I was the most important customer in every transaction even though I dont have to come see them very often. Gary, Robin and Mike are all great to deal with. I have to drive about 50 minutes to see them but it is worth it.
