Spoke with a woman that claimed to be the owner of this store, Robin. When done conversing with her she went over to a group of employees and started gossiping about the conversation her and I had. (Extremely, extremely unprofessional for an "owner" to do). Well, because of one of the employees, Riley, felt I treated her rudely he began to make comments to me in a raised voice. I looked at the "owner" and asked if she was okay with allowing a customer to be treated this way and she simply said "he is defending me." (Not sure about what he was defending but anyway...) His constant comments did not end. Even when I would reply with one word answers or not at all. I was simply in shock. More from the blatantly unprofessional manner the "owner" acted in than anything else. At one point, when the employee had clearly become out of line, the "owner" made a comment for him to calm down and to stop talking, which he just completely disregarded. The employee at this point was nearly in tears for some reason, obviously emotionally unstable, and I asked if he was going to cry and if he was ok. His response, "NO! I can cry if I want and I have had a horrible year. But, thanks for asking" The "owner" observing all this said nothing... This story sounds unbelievable but I assure you this is how an owner of this business feels about her customers. When I was leaving the store I requested the corporate number, as I and my family have shopped at Grocery Outlet for decades and always been treated respectfully ,I thought someone should know about this scenario. The clerk at the register was kind and started to get the number for me. The owner hustled to the front and tried to stop her from giving me the contact info and said I didnt need it and tried fervently for me to leave without it giving many excuses as to why I shouldnt have it..... I am perplexed by this whole scenario. The blatant disrespect for customers here is appalling. An owner perpetuating this lack of customer care is deplorable. I will gladly pay double to just be treated with respect....

Hey, its GO... sure people love to dis this store but some of us smarter folks are quietly shopping inside....smiling to ourselves... as we snatch some bottle of malbec for $4 that we know you just bought for $26 elsewhere. THE GOOD: some very cool specialty goodies show up at great prices---not just good prices on basics like milk, eggs, meats, cereals, yogurts, but dolmas, kalamata olives, balsamic vinegars, speciality cheeses, protein powders and more. The store size is smaller/manageable for quick trips, and its kept pretty cleaned up, except during stocking days when employees and carts are scattered through the store reloading shelves. THE BAD: watch expiration dates on dairy case items especially. From time to time, use-by-dates are within days of expiration and sometimes past--not everyone is fussy about these but I am on dairy and meats. THE QUIRKY: sometimes you find food displays in odd places, like when they set up fresh green pepper and tomato displays on the soap and shampoo isle. To me, its those little bits of weirdness that keep a smile on my face shopping there. Everyone who works there is friendly; nearly everyone who works there is outgoing (they do have a few happy introverts.) My one peeve is when they take, say, the organic peanut butter and remove it entirely from the peanut butter section and only display it in the tiny specialty organic section about five isles away. Really... put the peanut butter back!

Ive been living in Forest Grove OR 20 years and I used to shop mostly at Safeway and now I shop mostly a grocery Outlet. Grocery Outlet has a really good vegetable Department frozen vegetables and everything one needs. I really like the Overflow sections from the fancy stores so I can try really cool items like quinoa and kale and Lars bars and all sorts of goodies at a very discounted price. Traditionally its also the best place around to buy cheese salami crackers canned goods and wine. Its very cleaned up and ritzy compared to 5 years ago. Thank you produce managers

Easy access from Baseline, 1st Ave, 2nd Ave or Oak. Sufficient parking near each store. There is a bank, auto parts store, a restaurant/ pub, fast food, clothing store and a grocery store. One stop and I can be done with errands for the day. It is very close to the post office and theres a gas station across the street.

Definitely good prices. Well-maintained store, but never really know what youll find. Have gotten some very exotic yogurt flavors here (seems they get them if they are close to expiring and arent selling well in the regular stores). Bought a 6 HDMI cable last night for $9.99... kinda random, but a good price.

The best thing about our local Hillsboro Grocery Outlet, other than a great selection and really great prices (for any budget), is the People. It is a rare gem to fill ones basket with a bounty of good food and have such excellent quality of Service and overall Friendliness as well. Highly Recommended!

My boyfriend, family friends and I are near town for a festival. Were from a few hours away, so when we forgot stuff we just had to go out and buy it! The staff are friendly, and they had everything we need at great prices!

Interesting selections, carry new things all the time, stuff grocery stores stop carrying (like batman cereal, big bacon cheeseburgers etc) decent prices comparable to Winco. Great stuff? Not always but worth a look.

Um a huge fan of most Grocery Outlets. This location however has a very small NOSH section and is laid out completely differently from other locations in the area making it harder to find what we are looking for.

Extremely friendly staff, great prices, and top notch service. Why not shop here when you can get name brand products for half the price? The stock changes frequently so you never know what you will find!

Location seems decent, with a retro vintage clothing second hand store, and grocery outlet, near enough to "downtown" Hillsboro, with adequate parking.

Everything about it is awesome. Only thing is there is no customer (public) bathroom, and if you get lucky, the bathroom needs to be updated.

Cant complete your grocery list here, but if you have the time for an additional stop you might be surprised at the deals you find.
