Been shopping here for 5 years+. One day I am buying dinner and wine for my parents who were in from out of town. The checker tells me my ID is a fake because it had a DMV issued address sticker with tape over it so it didnt wear off!!! I am 30 and had just flown in from Vegas and the TSA had no problems with my ID. When I said this her rude response was, Here in Oregon we have strict laws and I refuse to sell you this alcohol". I have lived here for 24 years and buying alcohol with this ID here for 5..... thanks mam. After checking out I returned everything. Went next door and bought it for cheaper WITH wine!!! I will never go back because of her attitude. Safeways loss.

Never ever have enough people running registers. It takes forever. After about 8pm on a weekend they usually only have 1 lane open and its usually the express lane. So when you have a full cart other shoppers with 1 or 2 items give you dirty looks and sometimes even confront you about it. Not a good shopping experience. I used to live a couple blocks away and have been to this store hundreds of times.

They were open later on Christmas Eve than other similar stores and many people were taking advantage of it. The staff we encountered were not nice and the very common item we were there for was out of stock, which we thought was very poor planning on the buyer/managers.

The WORST customer service in yown!! The store manager GEORGE and cashier ANDREW are very unhelpful. They need to be consistent and post policies if they change or have a specific issue. WILL NOT BE BACK!!

Theres a Safeway every where. If your a member you save in the store and at certain gas stations. Being from Nor-Cal where the clowns in Sacramento have made it expensive to do anything, this is a good deal.

Overall good place to shop, most the staff and pharmacy are helpful and polite. Just dont tell them youre amused by a error on one of their signs or the blond manager will rudely accuse you of harassment.
