I found the store employees to be snotty and downright contemptuous. I came into the store just after Thanksgiving looking to purchase some cut flowers and vase fillers, specifically looking for the very popular tiny branched white flower called "babys breath" (gypsophila) often used in bouquets and arrangements. They not only didnt have it, they claimed they "never" had it and when I expressed surprise they rather nastily demanded to know what I "wanted it for." They almost acted like I was asking something that was illegal or for a controlled substance! This was after making me wait almost fifteen minutes to ask the question - one employee was helping others but the other was just puttering about doing make-work while studiously ignoring me. BTW I was professionally dressed in business attire not like the usual Eugene hippie chix who hang around the area, so there was really no excuse for the rude behavior I was subjected to. Their ultimate suggestion was to contemptuously suggest that I go down the block to the Safeway because - quote - "they carry things like THAT." Unbelievable behavior for the rest of the world but SO typical of rude EUGENE people.

Does not honor online pricing! Bait and switch!!!!! Offered one price online AND over the phone but when I went in to check the color of the flowers, they doubled the price for half the flowers and denied that they even had a web sight that I could get a price from...thats how I got the the phone number and address that I used to call and to go down there. The prom corsage price page is now conveniently "unavailable". The web sight is, however, still there whether they choose to admit it or not. I will never shop here! I have lived in the area for my whole life and I will tell everyone I know what bad service this place has. Very bad and dishonest business practice. They should be ashamed of themselves! I am so disappointed too, it was so wonderfully decorated and I was looking forward to going back. Well, now we know how they get the money to decorate so well. There are better places like Dandelions Flowers in Eugene to go to. Dont waste your time here!

I live outside of the Eugene area and every time I visit, one of my first stops is ALWAYS to Shamrocks to look at their wonderful decor items--I mean like my FIRST day in town. ha ha Even if I dont purchase anything, the experience of looking at all their lovely "stuff" and their flower arrangements puts a smile on my face all day. My mother lives in the area (not a hippie chick) and shops there too, and she complained about their customer service ONCE in 30-plus years. I have yet to have a bad experience there myself. Not sure what the previous posters problem with "rude" Eugene people came from. I was born in Eugene and i think the people there are FABULOUS.

The flower designs are beautifully created and can satisfy someone with a small budget to someone with unlimited ideas. This is truly one of the best flower shops in Eugene/Springfield! The staff here are incredible, extremely friendly, and very easy to work with. I had Alisha arrange all the flowers for my wedding in June, and I could not have asked for anything better. I am so pleased with the way everything turned out. It was all BEAUTIFUL to say the least. Thank you so much Shamrock for everything you did! I highly recommend everyone to go here for their wedding or other flower arrangements :)

i had the best experience with shamrock! i ordered flowers to be delivered to my nieces u of o graduation party. even though i wanted them delivered after business hours, patty took it upon herself to make a personal delivery after hours, on her own time. it added a festive touch to the party, and the flowers were simply STUNNING and well priced. i wont use another florist, i was that impressed.
