I was heading out of town right as my girlfriend was coming back from a month in Europe, so I wanted to get her something nice. She likes simple little bouquets, so I picked a $45 bouquet off the website, and paid, hoping the nice reviews would be indicative of what she would receive. First sign of trouble was when they called because they didnt have the vase that I wanted... I said thats OK, just pick another one that will look nice. So I go on my trip, and I come back to a happy g/f, and I notice on the table a very sad looking bouquet. It looked like the flowers were kinda dropped in the vase, and the vase looked OK at best. I also found out that they ignored my request to have the flowers delivered as late in the afternoon as possible (They were delivered well before 3PM). All in all Id say that unless youre out of town and have NO OTHER CHOICE, well... at least this place delivers on the right day? Otherwise, guys, youd be better served by stopping by Whole Foods, Trader Joes, or even Safeway. It will cost you one quarter of what this bouquet cost me, and you will get something that looks significantly better.

I love finding great businesses and spreading the word to my friends. Im glad google has this review section! I often send flowers to my mom who lives in San Jose. Ive tried a few local florists and havent been that impressed. I recently discovered a fantastic florist called "Rosies and Posies Downtown". My mom has been loving the flowers shes getting and the service has been superb. The cool thing is that I can call them directly (and theyve been super nice) or i can buy directly from their website. Id much rather work with a friendly local business than a huge FTD type service. They are full of helpful suggestions and work with my budget. Id recommend Rosies and Posies Downtown.... even to my Mom!"

My attempt to make an order from Australia was an absolute disaster. I wanted flowers for wedding - they came up without prices at their website. A call to the shop - they suggested to go to Anniversaries section to have the priced selection. OK. While compiling the order I found at the very end of a lengthy procedure that there is no way to enter my Australian address and phone. Even Australia is in the long list of countries the rest of the fields are strictly American format. Call the shop again. Three times, in fact - waiting and waiting, consultations behind the scene,, the connection was lost. The conclusion - forget about it as they suggested. Nobody was sorry over there. Business as usual apparently.

Id never bought more than a bouquet of (always very nice ) roses or some gerber daisies from them before, but called recently to ask them to send a thank-you bouquet to a friend that was "artsy" with strong colors, kind of sleek, and with an asian theme. My friend loved them! She called to say it was the most beautiful bouquet she had ever received (and shes received a lot), and that she was amazed that it contained all her favorite flowers and that the quality of the flowers was excellent. Im really happy with the way they turned out.

Was tired of going through FTD, 1800Flowers, ProFlowers, etc., decided to google florist in San Jose and found Rosies & Posies! Called them, got EXCELLENT service over the phone. I had a very special request and they complied, with a giggle!!, but comply none the less. I will use Rosies & Posies everytime I have to send any type of floral arrangement in the San Jose area!! Rosies & Posies, Thank you very much for your excellent service!!

I recently made a few decisions that seemed like a good idea at the time, but my wife did not like that excuse so I promptly placed a call to Rosies and Posies. They were very helpful in selecting a bouquet for my wife and helping me write a believeable apology. They delivered the flowers later that day and I was rewarded with a very happy wife that evening. Great, friendly, prompt service. I would recommend there service to anyone.

I paid over $100 to have flowers delivered for my sister on her birthday, what she got doesnt deserve even one star! not only it didnt look like the picture, the flowers were wilted and they used a different vase! the card that was delivered with it looked like was chewed by an animal or something.... I was so embarrassed I havent tried calling them to get my money back but Im going to try..... dont waste your money here

f this place, ordered flowers for my wife. she never even got them. Garbage, save your money and buy anywhere else. payed for before 3pm delivery and called, they told me dont worry it will be there by 5pm... I payed extra for early delivery, thanks a lot rosies now I have a pissed off wife that I have to buy a bunch more for because you couldnt deliver on promised services. Id rate 0 if I could.

I ordered from Florida for a south Bay, California delivery, never talked to a real person. The arrangement that arrived was exactly as pictured and got rave reviews. Excellent job! Having had bad experiences with other florists who sent dying flowers so the bouquet lasted only a day or two, this was great. I will use Rosies and Posies exclusively from here on out.

I googled flower shops in the area and ran across Rosies & Posies Downtown. After reading the reviews, I decided to go ahead and place an order with them online. I ended up having a question so I gave them a call and wow! It really is true what everyone already said. These people ARE really nice and so very helpful. Id definitely recommend them. =)

I am a former resident of San Jose now living in Colorado. I sent flowers to a friend for Mothers Day, whos a mother and whose own mother recently passed. I chose the florists pick & explained I wanted color but something that represented sympathy as well. They did a beautiful job at incorporating the two! I was quite impressed!!

Ive used Rosies & Posies exclusively for the past decade or so, both for local deliveries and for FTD deliveries. They provide consistently excellent service. They are especially good for local deliveries, as Leyla has an artists eye for floral arrangements. Its been a great pleasure working with her over the years.

I called from Philadelphia today (Sunday) and requested a same day delivery for a friends birthday. Typically the shop does not deliver on Sundays. The owner was so accommodating and personally delivered a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers to my friend on her way home. Highly recommend! Great service and beautiful flowers!

Yesterday I called Rosies and Posies. I found them online. I wanted to send a plant that was in bloom to a friend of mine. They suggested orchids, sounded good to me. I asked if they would send me a photo of the arrangement, and they did! It is Beautiful! The service and care was excellent. Outstanding company!!
