This has been the most horrific experience... Im almost disgusted to say I found the wedding gown of my dreams here and Ive already put my deposit down. I came into the store and didnt even have a set budget, I could purchase whatever gown I liked without even looking at the tag! Before I even walked into the store I had spoken with an associate on the phone who never gave me her name... we spoke for over a half hour about styles, material, shipping dates, etc., and set up an appointment for me to come in. Well, I showed up on that day and they had no idea who I was. FURIOUS, I took a deep breath and just said, "Well, this is when my appointment was for and Im going to be looking at dresses..." so they, of course, snobbishly went and got together dresses I described to them. Alex, an associate, was RUDE and treated me as if this was MY fault- sorry girl, but Im not going to show up to your store without an appointment! I found one that I really liked, but came back the next day and found one that was absolutely stunning. I worked with Dee that day and she was so great- I was so happy and at ease working with her. The next day I came in for a fitting with me and 2 of the 3 bridesmaids and things were going smoothly... I thought all was well until about an hour ago! My 3rd bridesmaid went in for a fitting and the "Redhead" associate was rolling her eyes at Courtney and when she found out none of the 3 girls have made deposits, she scoffed and continued measuring... I was NEVER informed that they needed to make a deposit beforehand--- I was ONLY informed of the 2 policies (Cash and Carry vs the other) and that sweet woman told us we should order within the next week to week and a half. No worries... but apparently their communication skills can be compared to that of the early 1900s with snail mail. Hey, girls! Why dont you COMMUNICATE!?!? I was also informed that the girls need to all buy their dresses the same way-- i.e., 10% off gown with half deposit at time of order, pay the rest at pick-up and have alterations done there, or 20% off dress and full payment at time of order and alterations done somewhere else... well, one of my bridesmaids will be giving birth and will be in Texas until the wedding... so, now I have to break it to her that she will need to follow suit with the other girls! Thanks, Atlas! I read the other reviews and am praying they can actually order correctly... if my bridesmaids dresses come in and theyre not perfect, youre in for a show! DO NOT COME HERE!! Even working with Dee... she cant handle it all... and I wish she could because if she could.... Id give 5 stars!!!

I should have gone with my first impression of this place but unfortunately I didnt. First my sister and I stopped in there to look at bridesmaid dresses, I had already bought my dress elsewhere but the store didnt carry the color of dress I needed for my girls so I went to Atlas. The ladies in the store didnt even ask us if we had anything specific in mind, she just pointed us to a tiny cramped room PACKED full of bridesmaid dresses that did not have any organization whatsoever. We found a few we liked and had to show ourselves to a fitting room etc. After finding one we liked we went to check out. One of the ladies at the shop explained the 2 payment policies that they use there telling me one of the options included alterations, come to find out they explained them COMPLETELY wrong to me so I could have saved my girls some money on the dresses if I had known this beforehand. I left the names and numbers of my girls so they could call in their measurements, I wanted my dresses ordered by mid January so I would have them in plenty of time for my wedding in early June. One of my girls called to give her measurements and Atlas bridal couldnt find my file at all. I had to call and give all my information again then my one bridesmaid called again, she ended up having to call one more time because they lost her measurements the second time she called. Three of my girls went to try the dress on for size purposes and they gave them a dress that was totally different than the one I picked out. Two of my girls called in their credit cards in early January because the are from out of town, as far as I knew everything was set from there. Dresses should have been ordered early Jan because the shop had all of the payments and sizes. Atlas bridal calls me on January 31 and tells me that I have 2 girls that have not paid for their dresses. When I initially picked up the phone I thought they called the wrong bride because they had my girls names wrong, they didnt even have them close to what they really are. Turns out when my two girls called in their info their cards never got charged so my dresses didnt get ordered until Feb 4 because Atlas only places orders once a week. Then I find out that the dresses are not set to arrive until the beginning of May. My wedding is June 2 and with 6 bridesmaids in 3 different states that is not exactly helpful with getting alterations which some of my girls really need. End of the story is I cant believe that this place is still open, this has been the most stressful part about planning my wedding and I will tell anyone and everyone to NEVER go to this shop!!

I would have gone to Davids Bridal (gag) instead. The only employee at Atlas worth her weight in salt is Dee, the others couldnt tell up from down. My bridal gown came out okay...until during the last fitting a few days before the wedding, the girl helping me with my dress broke the zipper and it had to be re-done last minute. Come wedding day, my dress is so tight in some places I cant even eat, and so loose in others that my "girls" feel a little too free. The bustle lasted until dinner, when I sat down. Oh, and then there was the issue with my bridesmaid dresses...when my dresses arrived, they were the right color, but wrong style. I placed the order for them over the phone, after having hemmed and hawed between two styles in-store. The style that arrived? Not even one I had EVER looked at, let alone considered. And I was blamed for the mishap. After an interesting conversation with the manager (at which time it was made clear to me that the store did NOT keep any electronic/computer records, and instead went with pinned messages in paper files), they finally agreed to cover the cost of rush-ordering the replacement dresses. All in all, I wouldnt recommend Atlas to any bride, unless she buys her dress at the store, and alters it elsewhere.

Atlas Bridal was the first shop I went to for selecting my wedding dress & it was a great experience. First off I must say that if you choose to go here make an appointment with Alex - she was fantastic! Not only did I love her, my mom & bridesmaid did too. She had the ability to provide suggestions without pressuring me & she let me try on as many (at least 15+) dresses without making me feel as if I was pulling too many. Another great point about Atlas is the fact that you can pull your own dresses -- which for me was amazing because I really did not have a clear picture in my head so I got the chance to work through several different shapes until I found the silhouette I felt best fit my body. Great store, great people, & beautiful dresses. If you live in the area I would highly recommend this store -- even if you do not find your dress there -- it will provide a base for leading you in clear direction to find the perfect dress
