I agree with Katie T. They have affordable prices , BUT not a good service, my mom purchase a Dress to wear in my Wedding this coming Saturday August 8, 2009 first mom had 2 dresses to choose from that she really like and the Seamstress DORA was so impatient with mom when she was getting measurements for each dress, just to see what options mom had for each dress. Then 2 weeks after that visit mom when to try on the dress after the alterations, the dress dint look nothing at all from the original dress, so we had to come back a week after so that she could work on the dress, so we make another appointment. The Appointment was Yesterday ( 7-29-09 ) at 10:30 am. we were running, due to weather and traffic ( we live 1:30 min from the store ) so she call me in my cell phone and said she couldnt wait for us because she dint work for the store and she was not gonna wait 30 min for one appointment. so she just left the Dress at the store. once we got there mom try it on the dress, the zipper was not saw correctly it, and it had strings hanging from it. so we told the owner of the store about it and she call Dora. DORA want it us to bring the Dress to her House so that she could fix it, she lives 10 min from the store, that was very Ridiculous and unprofessional service from Dora, for us to take the Dress to her house, mom paid her off from the beginning and the service she offers is not worth it. Now a week before my wedding mom had to Find another Dress , luckily she fund one at Jessica McClintock Store, but still looking for some one to do alterations. The Point is Dont let Dora do your alterations unless you want to know where she lives to bring her your dress so that she finish her job.

By far...this is THE PLACE to get your wedding dress!!!!!! after dating for 8 years before getting engaged, I basically had my entire wedding visioned in my head...including the dress! But then again, what girl doesnt? The problem was that I had invisioned it, but it was kind of like a dream...you remember the highlights but those small details are a little fuzzy in your head. As soon as we entered Affordable Bridal they invited me to look around and pick out a few dresses I thought I might like. Of course my mom, dad, MIL and MOH all had a few suggested dresses as well. We tried them on one by one, and I liked several things about each dress, but they werent the one. The lady helping me did a fabulous job listening to my complaints about each dress and the things I loved. She went and picked out a couple more, each time getting closer and closer, until she finally brought me the dress of my dreams!!! I knew it the moment I saw it, but after trying it on, and standing in front of the mirror, I was without a doubt certain it was my dress!!! Between the large selection of dresses and the awesome prices (I got a Maggie Sottero dress for about $1,000! Unheard of! My dress has been on "Say Yes To The Dress" before and sold for about 10xs that price! And my dress was on the higher end of their prices) logically this is the best place. But even more than that, the wonderful held and customer service really makes this place the best place emotionally too!

Although everyone is entitled to their own opinion, i had a great experience here! I read some of the lesser reviews and honestly half of them sound made up because i didnt experience anything "horrible" here at all! This store doesnt take appointments so sometimes they were really super busy like on weekends and at closing time, and other times i came they only had a few people. The people that complain seem to be the type that need attention at all times. The girls at this store, i believe, are good at asking if you need help finding anything, and also know when to leave you some time to yourself. I cant stand stores that the sales associates are constantly in your face, you can tell all they want is their commission money. This is a family business and they dont work on commission which means they WONT pressure you to buy a dress right that day. Like i said before everyone has their opinions and mine were all positive each time i went in. Even when the owners dad died one morning she was still in the store working and helping me to try and make my day happier (i had a bad experience at another buford store). So that was nice of her! Well i hope this helped some people... If you call the store and talk to them before you come maybe that will help reassure your decision to take the drive. :) email me if anyone has questions! They dont have 4.5 stars cuz they have no custoner service,, its OBVIOUSLY GREAT!

I am shocked at the negative reviews at the bottom of this page. I had to purchase a bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding. The dress I picked didnt even come directly out of the store, it had to be ordered specially. It arrived within a few days and I was contacted immediately. The owner called me herself and made arrangements with me to have the dress fitted, and was even willing to be at the store earlier or later than their hours because of my school schedule! (No other store would do that!). Once I tried the dress on it needed some alterations and they said no problem and did the pinning right there for me to get the dress altered. It was incredibly cheap to have it altered and within a few days the dress had been steamed and was ready for pick up. I am appalled at ANY negative review this store would get. The only complaint I have is that I didnt find them before my own wedding! I would gladly have gone to them had I known about this place. As far as customer service goes, everyone I cam in contact with greeted me with a smile and offered to help me with anything. If you want beautiful, affordable pieces with great customer service I cannot recommend a better place!

They lost a potential customer, and Im sure Im one of many. I walked in, and no one greeted me. In fact, I waited at the front desk, and the woman in the front just looked at me and said "Dresses are arranged by size. Go to the rack and start with about 5 or 6 dresses you like and try them on." Then she turned to another customer who was with a few people, and gave them all of her attention. No "Hello, welcome" or "Hi"... No one offered to help. No one really explained anything. Ive had 1000 times better service at Davids Bridal (and they are not known to have any customer service by the way). I dont know if it was because I look really young, and I was there with one of my young bridesmaids. She may have not taken me seriously. It also could have been the fact that I am not white. In any case, I will never go back there again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I will be telling everyone I know NOT to go there. Furthermore, they dont have nice dresses. They also mark their dresses up quite a bit. Ive found much better deals for designer dresses at other stores.
