HI

Update: I am yet to talk to the store manager. She left a voicemail and when I returned her call she had already left for the day. I left my number and times that I was able to take a phone call. As of 11/27, she has not returned the phone call. All I can say is please go somewhere else that takes customer service more seriously. Wedding are stressful enough without your dress shop creating more issues Original post So incredibly disappointed with Alfred and I strongly do not recommended purchasing anything from here! I bought a lace jacket to go with my dress and it showed up 3 months late. It was suppose to arrived in the February and didnt show up until May. The retail store could not give me any information on why it was delayed or when it would arrive. In fact, no one bothered to call me to let me know it was delayed until the very last day in February. I called their corporate office hoping to get some information. A lady name Linda informed me that my jacket was delayed because of Chinese New Year in which the third party manufacture was closed for 2 weeks. Per Linda, Alfred Aneglos had no way to communicate with the manufacture to even get an estimate date. She pretty much told me that it would get here when it would get here and to just deal with it. Not what anyone wants to hear after paying a lot of money for an item that was promised to arrive by a certain date. Plus, when I purchased the jacket, no one mentioned that it would be made in China. Finally, the jacket arrives...with strings hanging off everywhere and the lace picked up in several spots. The only thing I was offered after a long discussion with the stores manager was for the stores alterations lady to do the repairs and a 10% discount. Picking up the dress was further delayed because the alteration lady had to have time to work on the dress and the discount had to be approved by the regional manager. When I pointed out that the dress arrived damaged and that the regional manger should be aware of that, the manager told me she would be fired for using the word "damaged" and that damaged was only used on merchandise that was missing a sleeve or was only half sewn together. Really? I have a jacket that is obviously going to need repairs, but its taboo to refer to it as damaged? FINALLY, I go to pick up my repaired jacket, but there are still strings and damaged lace. When I point out the issues to the alterations lady, she grabs paper scissors from beside the cash register and hacks at the jacket. At this point, I am so mad and over Alfred Angelo and their complete disregard for anything resembling custom service until I just take my jacket and go. By time the issues started in February, my wedding was too close to order from another store and my venue did not allow strapless gowns so I had no other options. All I can do is beg other brides not to use this company. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Im the bride, and my appt was for my maids. I was NOT a happy camper with my experience at Alfred Angelos in Turkey Creek. I had called and made an apt with the salon TWO MONTHS in advance and received a confirmation call the day before. The day of the apt I go into the salon, a few minutes before my apt time, and not a single employee greeted me. No one was waiting to help me; I had to stand at the counter and wait for a good five minutes or more before someone came up to me and told me theyd be with me in 10 minutes. I was very irritated that I MADE AN APPT WAY IN ADVANCE and did not get assistance or even checked in until I had already been there for 20 minutes. By the time the associate was "available" to come help me and my maids, we had already asked for a dressing room and had about six dresses for the maids to try on. I gave my list to the associate and asked her to pull them for us in any of the three different sizes my maids were. She comes back 15 mintues later with one dress in her hand. Everytime she came to greet us she gave us the sigh. The"I hate my job- what do you want" kind of sigh. At this point I was irritated beyond belief. Everytime my maids asked her a question about the dress, she didnt know off hand and had to check with someone else....for every question! If you dont know anything about the services your place of employment offers, please quit! As I was waiting for my maids to change we heard a conversation from a bride and an associate with the bride getting upset with the associate. Apparently the bride ordered her dress and when it came in she was not able to pick it up for awhile, and in the meantime while the dress was in the store, the associates let other brides try it on as a sample dress and they had gotten makeup and dirt on this poor girls dress!! This was her wedding dress she had paid for!! =-O I will say that even though their selection was small, I did like the dresses they did have. My maids tried on about 10-15 total, and out of those we liked about half, which seemed pretty good. We did like one enough to want to order it for all of my maids(I have 6), but the service was so poor that I do not want to give that particular location my business. I would rather drive to Chattanooga or GA if I had to for the dresses. We agreed that their service DID NOT earn our business. As we were leaving, the associate was then wanting to help us and see if they could do anything more for us. "No, we are leaving." I would rather order the dress online then go back to the store.

VERY UNIMPRESSED with the sales representatives, managers, and alterations department. After selecting my bridesmaids dresses there, I specifically gave the style numbers and color to the sales representatives. All dresses were to be in gray, and different styles were selected for specific bridesmaids. They said it would be the most helpful and accurate if i personally gave them the style number for each girl. I called multiple times to confirm they had the correct styles. The first bridesmaid called to order her dress and they had navy as the color in the computer when I specifically picked out gray. We got this changed but it turned out to be one of many problems. I realized later that they had every bridesmaid in the same style dress. I caught it quickly enough, but I later found out that one was not changed. Now we are dealing with the completely wrong style a week before the wedding. Not to mention it was ordered way too big and extensive alterations are now needed. When she called to order her dress they told her that she could not order the style I chose for her because they had a different one in the computer and that is what I picked out for everyone...NOT TRUE. My bridesmaid tried to reorder the dress in a smaller size because it was entirely too big and the manager told her she would have to come to Knoxville if she wanted it fixed. (she lives 4 hours away in NC....) We loved the dress styles, so we recommended my grandmother go look there for dress to wear to the wedding (obviously before any problems had happened). Her dress came in, and it was entirely too small. They kept saying that she just gained weight and that was the issue. However, they had NO RECORD of her measurements! There is no way anyone would order a dress that small-shes had it let out as far as it will go and it is still WAY too small. In dealing with both of these issues, we have spoken to many sales representatives and managers. Some representatives have been nice but not helpful. Everyone tries to blame someone else and no one takes responsibility. I chose this store originally because they had a good selection and great prices. However after my experience, I would rather pay twice as much for a bridesmaid dress than go here again. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Im just so thankful that I didnt purchase my wedding dress from here because who knows what they wouldve ordered.
