Sara at Suite Bridal was absolutely amazing. I called a few boutiques yesterday to check if they carried a specific designer and style. All three told me they didnt have the dress I was looking for, but during the phone call Sara told me she already had her assistant pulling similar dresses from the racks, and was ready to give me a few other style numbers if I wanted to look them up online real quick. She was able to schedule me for a next-day appointment, and we headed over this afternoon after a disappointing Davids Bridal appointment. The difference between the two stores was night and day. I spent 90 minutes at Davids Bridal, tried on four dresses (with my MoH helping me more than our DB attendant), sitting on the floor overheating because of the broken AC, waiting 10-15 minutes at a time for the attendant to come back with correctly sized dresses. The moment I stepped into Suite Bridal, Sara greeted us with a huge smile and handed us a little card with several bird-shaped clips attached to it. I was encouraged to walk around the store and clip the tags on dresses I wanted to try on. Unlike DB, the dresses were un-bagged - so you could actually SEE them - and all of them had big tags with a picture of someone wearing the dress, the designer, color options, price, etc. I handed out a few of the clips to my mom and bridal party so I could try on dresses I wouldnt pick out for myself. Sara was so efficient - I easily tried on 10-12 dresses (two of them twice) in an hour, without feeling rushed. With each one she narrowed down what features I did and didnt like more and more until she was handing me nothing but winners. The last dress she pulled for me was perfect, and as a bonus was 40% off for their sample sale. Since they only have an appointment for one bride at a time, you really feel like the whole store is focused on just you. As a bonus - my MoH fell in love with the store too, and is planning on going back for one of my runner-up dresses.

I attended an appointment to try on dresses with a newly engaged friend today. I was greeted at the door by the owner who without so much as saying hello, told me to watch where I rolled the wheels of my babies stroller. She then proceeded to tell me that she doubted there would be room for me and my baby back where my friend was trying on dresses. I have never felt so unwelcome at a place in my entire life. Her employee saw the situation and said of course there is room and ushered me back to where my friend was trying on dresses. Further into the appointment my friends mother and I found two dresses that the mother of the bride wished her daughter to try on. When asking the owner to pull the dresses for my friend to try on, she essentially refused and said that its the brides appointment and these dresses would not get in on time for her to even consider them. On questioning how long it would take for the dresses to come in, she raised her voice and yelled at me. I told her not to speak to me in such away and to lower her voice. My friend ended up purchasing a dress that day that was very much like one of the two dresses I asked the owner to pull. I am astounded that someone so lacking in the very basics of customer service is able to have a business at all. I am a business owner myself, and I always try to make my customers not only feel welcome, but listen to their requests and do my best to fulfill them as efficiently and as politely as possible. If youre looking to make the experience of dress shopping a special one, I would absolutely run from this store. The very spirit of the owner breeds contention, which should be the furthest thing from such a momentous and joyful day.

For several months I drove past Suite Bridal looking at the perfect dress in the window. Time and time again I told myself I would go in to check it out. After much debate I made my way into the shop with a dear friend. Upon walking up I noticed the dress was gone. I was in a slight panic, but held out hope THE dress would be there. The ladies welcomed used, asked us our names, and really made us feel comfortable window shopping. They asked if I was in search of something specific and I confessed I was looking for the dress in the window, that was no longer in the window. Heres the moment where I fell in love with the shop: she knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me all the details on the dress. From the moment the ladies lit up chatting about how gorgeous the dress was I never went to another shop. The intimate setup is perfect for someone like me who doesnt want a show while trying on dresses. The ladies gave their honest opinions about what worked best for me. They knew what complimented by shape, which I found amazing. When everyone else had an opinion on "my" style (trumpet, mermaid, etc.) the ladies ignored their chatter and focused on what I wanted, that beautiful dress in the window. The ladies are professional, kind, and very sincere. I enjoyed every single moment of the journey to find the perfect dress. I could never imagine going anywhere else to find "the one". Thank you ladies for your warm smiles, huge hugs, and overwhelming kindness. I cant wait to share my wedding day photos with you.

My mom came in from out of town to help me find my wedding dress. After searching what seemed like everywhere for the perfect wedding dress, we were running out of time and my final appointment was at Suite Bridal. Due to an scheduling error (our fault not theirs--we wrote it on the calendar for the wrong day) we showed up and they didnt have us scheduled. Nevertheless, they took us right in and Lorraine herself helped us. She showed us around and told us how they had sample dresses off the rack as well as many newer dresses we could order. We picked out several to try on and Lorraine added to the collection. Then I went to try on the first one--a Mikaela v-neck ruched gown--and as soon as I stepped out of the dressing room, I knew this was it. I cried, my mom cried, we knew our search was over. It was the perfect dress. I cant imagine getting married in any other gown. Lorraine and her team were so incredibly helpful. They knew exactly how to pin the dress so I could envision the final product. They have INCREDIBLE prices. I walked out that day with the perfect dress, at the perfect price, in my hands with no wait or concern about ordering. I couldnt have asked for a more wonderful experience. And on my wedding day, when my now husband saw me for the first time, it was perfect.

After 2 previous cities and 3 different bridal shops with NO success, I walked into Suite Bridal discouraged and pessimistic. I was thinking I would be returning to South Carolina without finding a dress. All of that changed as soon as we (my Mother and Maid of Honor) were greeted so warmly by Daesha and Courtney. Daesha was so positive, vibrant, and encouraging. She made me believe that I would find a dress I liked, and I did. Unlike many other shops, you are able to pin the gowns you wish to try on which was a big plus to me because the consultants at the previous shops just did not seem to grasp the look I was aiming for by the dresses that they were bringing to me. Suite is small, however they have a large selection of beautiful and affordable gowns(in my opinion). The tags have models pictured in the gown which gives you an accurate idea of what the gowns look like on the body. The ladies were very knowledgeable and they were very patient with me. They allowed me to take my time making my final decision. Mrs LaRaine(owner) came in to measure me and she was very nice as well. Thanks Suite Bridal, and thanks Daesha and Courtney
